Location was excellent with a lovely bistro across the street with a fantastic omelet for breakfast/lunch. Host was fantastic. Friendly and very helpful. Only one floor up with good solid wide stairs. Spacious apartment with easy one bedroom or two bedrooms. Loving room and good kitchen. Again, a solid rental that for us is highly recommended. Can't wait to rent again.

The host was great! He was very friendly and very very helpful! He made us a dinner reservation the day we arrived and arranged a taxi for us the day we left. He checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. The apartment was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. The location was very close to anything we needed. Notre Dame, The Louvre and the Bastille were within easy walking distance (1/2 hour). There was a subway station nearby. Along the walks to the Seine there were shops for everything imaginable.We highly recommend!

Good value stay for the price. Great location to canal restaurants and marais shopping. Place is on a relatively quiet street close to many ethnic restaurants and nice cafes and shops. The unit has an eccentric layout but still charming and cozy. It’s open plan and two levels so if noise and privacy is important take note. Definitely lived in feel not brand new or modern. The host was very communicative and friendly. Easy to contact and accommodated our slightly early arrival.

Wonderful stay in great neighborhood with helpful host!

Our group of four had such a wonderful stay at the Tropicool duplex! The duplex is centrally located, extremely well decorated (chic and a little quirky, with the bonus of many art books and theoretical texts in both French and English), structurally interesting (a double-floor window in the main bedroom, plenty of light in the entryway through a unique ceiling skylight), and helped us step into another world and feel like locals. The space was clean, thoughtfully stocked, and very comfortable. The surrounding neighborhood felt lively but relaxed, with easy access to shops, cafes, and transit. Chauveau is also generous and friendly: he provided everything we needed and was very communicative throughout our stay. We’d absolutely stay here again and recommend it wholeheartedly.

we had a lovely visit. the apartment is situated perfectly to get around the neighborhood and all of Paris with two metro stops nearby and the train to CDG easily accessible. the iunit is a split level with the kitchen and couches upstairs and the bathroom, toilet, and bedroom downstairs. on the second floor. it was easily accessible, but also felt safe. we had a wonderful day and would highly recommend!
