Everything about the stay was wonderful, other than one detail that was disappointing. The location was amazing...2 minute walk to Notre Dame and convenient to everything. The street was also quiet with what we think was a police office nearby. Also, lots of restaurants right outside our doorstep (but not so close that they were noisy). Master bedroom was large and second bedroom would be great for kids or two adults without much luggage. It's not completely private, though, as the door has a window with a lace curtain. Kitchen had what we needed and a full-size fridge, although we didn't use the kitchen much. The clothes washer/dryer took some getting used to...it takes a long time to run the wash & dry cycle, and we often had to add more drying time. The check in person explained this to us, and we made it work. But if you aren't in a situation where you can manage this, just be prepared for cold showers. When you use the hot water, the water heater will turn off about every 3 minutes and someone has to manually reset it. So you need someone standing by when you take a shower and you need to be ready to get out of the way while the cold water is coming out. There is one AC unit in the living room, but it worked well to cool the apartment even in late July. Overall, this was a great place to stay during our days in Paris.
