Our stay has extremely delightful. The host was there to meet us with a bottle of wine even. She showed us how everything worked in the apartment. The apartment had everything you needed, even bandaids.It was huge as well. Each bedroom had an en suite with soap, shampoo and conditioner. There were plenty of towels too.If you want luxury, room, and a chef's kitchen this is the one!!!

Veronique's apartment is huge and very nicely appointed, with a high-end kitchen, a spacious living room, plenty of storage room for clothes and luggage, and two comfy bedrooms, each with a private bath. It's located in a safe non-touristy area, full of shops and restaurants, just a 5-minute walk from Gare de Lyon metro stop and train station - making it incredibly convenient for getting to all the sights and neighborhoods we wanted to see. It's easily the best and most comfortable apartment we've ever rented in Paris. We would go back in a heartbeat.

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment. There were 4 (2 couples) of us, and there was plenty of room. It was decorated in a Parisian style that we all loved, and it was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Another plus is that it was near the metro and train station. There were plenty of cafes around as well. Our host, Veronique, was wonderful!! I would definitely stay there again.

April in Paris

My husband and I along with two of our friends stayed in Paris for 8 days. We were enamored with the apartment from the moment we first walked in -- just stunning! Veronique provided many thoughtful touches, like guidebooks and maps, restaurant and market recommendations, a well appointed and stocked kitchen, comfortable bedding and more. We were so grateful that the property manager Karima was able to accommodate our early check in when we first arrived. The apartment is located in a great neighborhood, just a couple blocks from Gare de Lyon. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this apartment!

Great find

Comfortable, roomy, clean, in a fantastic location. After a busy day it was a pleasure to return to 9 Rue Parrot. We were here for 2 weeks. How lucky is that!

Stay in Veronique Vaucher's Paris Apartment

Overall, we were happy with the apartment. It is spacious, has all modern amenities and is convenient to tourist attractions. I think we had a misunderstanding about the role of the woman she enlisted to greet us when we came. We were under the impression she would be around during our stay if an issue came up. She showed us everything very quickly when we had just come from the airport and were very jet lagged. She was nowhere to be found during the week when we couldn't figure things out like the door locks, washing machine and tv. Perhaps her role was only to greet us and give us an initial go round. Venronique was very lovely and consistently responsive but we didn't want to bother her given we thought her neighbor was going to help us. We apologize for leaving the garbage in the kitchen because we could not find the door to the outside where the trash barrels were. All this being said, we would like to make some suggestions: Please, some written instructions, like about using the washing machine, television and door locks. And directions to the room where the trash bins are. The couches were quite uncomfortable and look like they were very old. They could use replacing. Leave a glass pitcher in the kitchen so we can have cold water in the refrigerator. We thank Veronique for her graciousness and hospitality.

Beautiful home in Paris

What a wonderful place to spend our short time in Paris! Veronique’s flat is luxurious and large enough for two couples to share with plenty of room to spread out. It’s in a great location, we walked everywhere in the Latin Quarter, Marais, all the way to the Louvres (though we love walking). Also close to many metro and train stops. Wonderful kitchen, and near the marche if you want to cook some meals in. We are chefs, so having a real kitchen was a major plus. So much better than a hotel, and so beautifully appointed.

Bright and spacious apt

This apartment is not only beautiful and comfortable but it is near the train station in a friendly neighborhood. The apartment had everything we needed plus tour books, recommendations for nearby restaurants, markets and a fully stocked kitchen. The couches and beds are comfortable and the space easily accommodated four adults. The neighborhood’s outdoor produce market, train station that is also a mall, shops and places to eat were a pleasant surprise. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.

Perfect apartment

It was great to be able to return to the apartment after a long day being a tourist. The bedrooms at the back of the apartment were very quiet. Everything we needed was made available to us. Shopping was easy due to local stores. Would come back in a heartbeat.

Perfect Stay!

This apartment is perfect for 2 couples or a family- it’s huge! It’s well decorated and extremely comfortable. The pictures online are very accurate. The kitchen was large and truly a cooks dream. Beds were comfortable, each bedroom with sizable bathroom. Television with some English channels was a bonus. Washer and dryer were put to use! It is located one block from Gare de Lyon, and the Paris Metro is a joy to use. The Aligre market was a short walk away, as were many restaurants, bakeries, and grocery stores. Check in was simple, and communication with Veronique was easy. Our week here was perfect- I highly recommend staying here.

Amazing Parisian Experience

The entire process was seamless especially considering our flights were changed by holiday travel and weather. The apartment is extremely well equipped and the beds were comfortable. We found the apartment quiet yet in a neighborhood conveniently located to public transport and fantastic restaurants. We would absolutely stay here again on our next trip to Paris.

We thought the apartment was excellent. It was spacious, clean, fully equipped, and comfortable. Our only concern, more of an annoyance really, are the neighbors on the floor upstairs. They were very noisy from early morning until late at night.

At home in Paris.

This was quite possibly the nicest apartment we’ve ever stayed in on our travels. It was on the third floor, with a very reliable elevator. All the rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated. The kitchen and bathrooms were almost new and included every modern convenience. The kitchen was stocked with everything you might want for any meal preparation. I think I counted three different types of coffee makers. The beds were extremely comfortable and the linens perfect. We had a small problem checking in because we arrived earlier than expected, but our host, Veronique solved the problem right away and check-in was smooth as butter. Oh, one last thing about the location. It’s a 3 minute walk from the Gare de Leon train station. From here you have unbelievable train and subway access to all of Paris! We will definitely try to return. 5+ stars!

Beautiful, light and airy - perfect for our sisters trip

My sister and I stayed in this beautiful apartment for just under two weeks in September 2022. Communication with Veronique was excellent – I found her to be very responsive and helpful. The photos give a very accurate impression. Tall windows and high ceilings admit a lot of natural light - a very pleasant and airy space. Two bedrooms, each with a very comfortable bed and en suite bathroom, were perfect for us. The apartment is very well appointed with excellent appliances, a well-equipped kitchen, and extra linens. Neighbors that we met in the building were very friendly. There are many café and restaurant choices within a block or two of the building, as well as bakeries, wine shops, pharmacies, and a small grocery (Monop’). There are also two different street markets a short walking distance away. Proximity to Gare de Lyon provides many bus and Metro routes to different parts of the city. Thank you Veronique for sharing your lovely apartment with us! It could not have been more perfect.

Beautiful, safe, and close to transportation.

Veronique, the lovely host of this spacious apartment was so helpful. She provided everything you can think of to make your stay comfortable. The kitchen and bathrooms are wonderfully updated and roomy and the living space is comfortable with Parisian style. We would chose this apartment again for all the bonuses that come with how well its appointed and its ideal location.

Great Visit to Paris

We had a wonderful week in Paris and this two-bedroom apartment was an excellent place to stay. It was clean, efficient and had everything we needed. Veronique was a very good host and made sure we had a great stay. Location was one block from the train and metro station at Gare de Lyon. We had easy access to the metro and used it every day. This is a good neighborhood with restaurants, a grocery store and a bakery all located steps from our apartment. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this apartment and we give Veronique 5 stars.

Our favorite apartment

This is my third time staying in this very apartment, and it was as wonderful as the first two times. You cannot decide if the comfort, the artwork, or the chef's kitchen are best part, and I guess you don't have to! Everything you need is available, and nothing you don't. The location is ideal for finding close by, quality restaurants and easy transit. Line 1 runs right by here, but also the large Gare de Lyon, for longer trips. There is a taxi stand nearby, and it's maybe 20 minutes to talk to the heart of Paris. The place is immaculate, the beds are extremely comfortable, and there are loads of fresh towels. The only problem is when you have to leave!

Elegant and Comfortable

We found the apartment to be both beautiful and very comfortable. Spacious and light filled living spaces that we enjoyed sitting in and writing our postcards and travel journal at the large desk that is just one of the lovely antique pieces throughout the home. We loved shopping at nearby open air markets and turning our bounty into dinner in the fantastically appointed kitchen. The quiet bedrooms and bathrooms at the back of the apartment were comfortable and allowed for restful nights. The location is great with a choice of metro lines, buses and easy walking such as the evening we went to the Paris Opera at Bastille. The Viaduct proménade plantée is a block away and a great place for walking. The amazing piscine Joséphine Baker is a short jog away and provides a unique experience of swimming on a barge on the Seine. Overall we loved our time here and hope to return for a longer visit.
