Our amazing home is set in a quiet neighborhood in the heart of Southern Utah and has plenty of room for your family, corporate retreat, or gathering of friends. With a theater and a hot tub, among other amenities, and centrally located near Zion, Bryce and the Grand Canyon, you're sure to have an entertaining time when you stay at Gathering Place in Kanab, Utah. Enjoy those incredible Southern Utah summer nights with incredible stargazing opportunities! The perfect starting point for all of your southern Utah adventures!



The Space:

In this house there are 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms for you to enjoy! Each bedroom pays homage to our area, with themed rooms specific to different national parks and recreation areas. We hope to inspire you to visit these fantastic places. Our home is decorated in a modern Southwest style, perfect for hosting special gatherings.



Upstairs Bedrooms- Lake Powell Master with King bed and sofa sleeper and ensuite bathroom. Desert Sky room with 2 double beds.

Downstairs Bedrooms- Bryce room with 2 double beds and ensuite bathroom. Grand Canyon room with King bed. The Wave room with a King bed. Zion room with a King bed.



In addition to an abundance of bedrooms, you'll find a spacious living room with plenty of comfortable furniture to relax on and enjoy the large screen Smart TV.



The kitchen has everything you need to prepare your favorite meals and there's a beautiful wood dining table with ample seating. Equipped with a blender, toaster, baking dish, cookie sheet, pots, pans, griddle, stock pot, tupperware, bread maker, and bread pan.



Watch your favorite movies in theater room downstairs, where you'll also find a kitchenette.



There's a laundry room so you don't have to travel with dirty clothes.



The outside area boasts a wonderful hot tub where you can unwind after the day's adventures. There's a balcony with a cozy firepit you can gather around and take in the amazing views. Don't forget to plan at least one BBQ and cook on the outdoor grill!



Guest Access:

Guests have full access to the main home.



The Neighborhood:

Located close to Highway 89, but far enough away that the neighborhood is peaceful. It's set on a wide street and there is very little traffic that passes by. The neighborhood is wrapped in red cliffs, and neighbors are quiet and friendly. There are empty lots on either side of the home as well as behind it, so there is a nice feeling of seclusion. With a large circular driveway in front and rock path on the side of the home, as well as street parking, there's ample space for vehicles.



There's plenty to do with state and national parks nearby, but if you're looking for something more low-key for a day or two, consider the local hikes featured on the flyers in our house book: Squaw, Bunting and K-hill, all offering wonderful views. As well, Jacob Hamblin park has a playground, field, pool with slides, splash pad, and tennis/pickleball courts; Kanab City Library is nearby and often has books for sale; Ranchos Park has great baseball fields; Best Friends Animal Sanctuary has great guided tours (they welcome donations). Also consider the local restaurants, bakeries, and ice cream shops. We love some of the local tour companies; they can make your travel time far more productive and enjoyable. Many of them even offer early morning pick-ups from Kanab.



Equestrian and biking trails are also available.



Getting Around:

This home has convenient access to Hwy 89A/89 which takes you to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, Zion and Bryce National Parks, Lake Powell, as well as the north rim of the Grand Canyon.



Here in southern Utah a vehicle is required to get around in town and beyond. We recommend a 4WD vehicle with high clearance if you intend to go off-road to out of the way places.



Page, AZ airport is 1 hour away; St. George, UT airport is 1.5 hours away; Las Vegas airport is 3 hours away.

We offer a free concierge service with some great recommendations! Kanab is situated in the "Grand Circle" area and known as the "Hub of the Parks", centrally located among Zion National Park (30 miles), Bryce Canyon National Park (77 miles), the Grand Canyon (North Rim - 80 miles). You can also visit Pipe Springs National Monument (21 miles), the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument (15 miles), Vermilion Cliffs National Monument (77 miles), Coral Pink Sand Dunes (20 miles), Kodachrome Basin (93 miles), Lake Powell/Glen Canyon Recreation Area (75 miles), the "Wave"/Paria Wilderness (50 miles), Horseshoe Bend (77 miles), Cedar Breaks National Monument (65 miles) and so much more. Please note mileage is approximate and may vary by a few miles.



Enjoy your dream vacation in Kanab, also known as "Little Hollywood"!
