Family friendly summer house with private pool

Great property, plenty of room with the biggest bedrooms benefitting from air con. Outdoor space split over 3 levels with perfect views from any area. A great stay and enjoyed sleeping outside on the bed provided on the top balcony. 20min walk into cala tarida. The only issue we had is taxis not being able to locate the property. It appears the google map street name differs from the actual street name. A great villa for friends or family gatherings and very private. Recommended.

We stayed in this property for 10 days. The house is beautifully located with a nice view over Cala Tarida. The location is perfect. If you want a peaceful holiday it is possible, but it's also not far away from San Antoni if you want to party. No noise from the airport.

Top floor contains the kitchen (well-equiped), living room (where also two people can sleep) and one bath room. Middle floor contains two bed rooms (one with bath room) and has airconditioning. Also sun terrace is located here. The pool (with jet streams) is located on the lower terrace.

Some parts of the property are a bit old, but everything is well-maintained and all was clean. The housekeeper came by twice to clean the property.

Our arrival into Cala Tarida wasn't the best. The directions we were given (from the owner) took us to the wrong place. We spoke to the guy who looks after it on the phone but his English was minimal - he wanted to meet at a place called La Serina which is a shop close by. Our problems were it was dark, we didn't know where we going (even with Sat Nav) and we couldn't find this shop (the next day, in daylight it all became obvious and it was close!!) He finally met us outside a hotel and we followed him to the holiday home. I'm starting this review of the villa by stating that it is very, very nice. Its design is unusual in that upon entering, you find yourself outside with access to the isolated kitchen on the left, lounge and main bathroom via an outdoor walkway. Down the first set of stairs (again outside) you have another set of doors that lead you into a bedroom with 2 single beds and a small shower room just off it to the right. At the opposite end of this bedroom, there is a door that takes you to bedroom 2. Bedroom 2 does have doors that open directly onto the patio area too so if you do need the loo in the middle of the night, you can avoid waking up people in bedroom 1 by using these, going upstairs and using the one there. Down the next set of stairs is the wonderful pool area, this is cleaned twice per week. A few problems arose during our 2 weeks. Firstly, I discovered a rat in the kitchen a few days in resulting in the whole kitchen being cleaned and bleached from top to bottom the following morning. Our resolve was to always ensure the door was closed when no-one was in eyesight. We did see the rat a few more times but this was on the upstairs terrace - the man who looks after this villa came and put some poison down. The toaster was broken from day one, we reported this immediately and were provided with a new one 5 days before we departed, I appreciate this is a small thing to many but we were disappointed this couldn't have happened sooner. There is no TV or Wi-fi provided - this was absolutely no issue for us, in fact, it was really nice not having a TV!! I'm pointing this out because I'm sure many would just assume that these things would be present. The villa pretty much had everything you would need to make it truly a home from home, the mosquito nets around the beds were particularly useful. The views of the sea and mountains were stunning. I'd definitely recommend this place as we had a really good time.

We, a family with two children enjoyed our 9 day stay in the house.

We liked the outdoor living in different loggias, terraces and the swimming pool. In this way every person of the family could have their own privacy.

The house equipment was good; 2 bbqs, kitchen tools, books, 2 clean bathrooms.

I recommend the house to everybody who want to have a relaxed holiday a moment away from wifi and tv.
