Relaxing on the screened in porch was our favorite place. Very comfortable seating! The host was excellent in communicating and went above and beyond providing necessities. Note to physically challenged, there are sixteen stair steps to enter the home. Host was kind enough to offer to help haul luggage if needed. Overall a pleasant stay. Would definitely come back!

We really enjoyed our stay in Fairhope! The location on the bay is wonderful, with a beach, a great pier, and absolutely beautiful sunset views. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay.Jeanette, the owner, was wonderful to work with. She was responsive, helpful, and accommodating, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The highlight of our stay was something we never could have planned. We were lucky enough to experience a jubilee right there on the bay! Seeing the flounder come into the shallow water was absolutely amazing and made our visit especially memorable. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable place where you can relax by the water, enjoy the pier, and watch some gorgeous Fairhope sunsets, this is a lovely spot.

Thank you for the great review Debra! Was so glad you got to experience the Jubilee. Most people who live in the area haven't had this opportunity. as it only happens a few times a season and you never know when or which beach it will occur. You were an incredible guest. So happy you enjoyed your stay. Hope you will return soon.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The home is beautiful, comfortable, and perfectly situated directly on the water, with spectacular views of Mobile Bay. The pier was one of our favorite features, and the sunsets were simply incredible, some of the most beautiful we have ever seen. The house was thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need, making our stay easy and relaxing from the moment we arrived. Our host was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, responsive, and a pleasure to communicate with throughout our visit. The neighbors were also warm and friendly, which made the setting feel even more special. This was truly the perfect waterfront getaway. We could not have asked for a better home or experience and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Fairhope for funeral

This house and the location were perfect for our stay. Had to come in town for a funeral and this was perfect for my family of 5 to relax and decompress. Was able to catch some crabs off dock and cook for dinner on our last night. Sunsets were amazing! Jeanette was great with communication and the house was stocked with everything we needed. Will definitely stay here again when we’re in town.

Great place!!

The house is perfect for 4 people. The kitchen is open into the den. We spent most of our time on the screened in porch. The wharf is really nice. The beds were very comfortable and the sheets were soft. The kitchen is completely stocked if you want to cook. We will definitely return!

March 2024 Bay House

Very nice screened-in porch to relax in and enjoy the bay. The pier is nice as well and there is a large entertainment area underneath the home that allows you to enjoy outside without being in the weather. The kitchen is well stocked with various tools and the den has 2 really comfortable recliners. There are televisions in both bedrooms. The beds could use better sheets, but overall, our stay was very pleasant.

The most relaxing vacation spot.

I can't say enough good things about this property. Clean, quiet, relaxing. Has a great neighborhood with a family feel. Jeanette is a wonderful host! I asked to check in a day early and she arranged it! So glad we did because my family loved this home. My dad and grandmother fished for days! Caught lots of catfish, and even a sting ray! Also, they caught ten crabs in the crab trap. It was a fabulous week! We will definitely rent again.

THE BEST TIME EVER

I can't say enough good things about the house and our host Jeanette. The house was beautiful, clean and had everything you could possible want or need. The pier was great. We caught crabs everyday and sat out of the pier and enjoyed the sunsets. The screened in porch was a plus. Jeanette was available to answer questions and even met us at the house to show us around. We even got a special treat to meet her brother in law, who showed us how to catch shrimp with a net. We had so much fun. We want to go back in the future. Thank you Jeanette.

Respite

Went for a week to relax and recuperate from caring for brother dying of brain cancer. Husband loves to fish, I like to read and do a little cooking. The kitchen is fabulous over and above with everything you could need! Fishing wasn’t all that good but sometimes that happens we still enjoyed the nice pier and being there on the water. Had an issue with air conditioner and Jeanette had it solved immediately (much faster than it would have happened at home!)
