About Michele Marsico

I have been a Realtor in PA for 17 years. I have a B.A. degree in Elem. Ed. and still substitute from time to time. My husband and I have 2 kids and 2 dogs. We enjoy travelling, golfing, fishing, camping and spending time with our children. We have always lived in PA and have lots of family close by. We have always dreamed of having a place close to the ocean, and this year we were fortunate enough to make that dream come true. This home has made it possible for our kids to spend quality time with grandparents and cousins at the same time which is hard to accomplish because of the size of our families.

Michele Marsico purchased this townhome in 2009

Why Michele Marsico chose Rehoboth Beach

Growing up we always vacationed in Ocean City Maryland and the adjoining beaches. We love the location of this home in Rehoboth because it saves us a good 45 minutes of travel time and the Boardwalk has a Funland for kids and ticket prices are very reasonable. It is close to the beach and the community has a pool which is essential when we vacation with our kids who love to swim. This home a lot of bedroom space which allows us to travel with extended family.

What makes this townhome unique

Since I enjoy shopping, the closeness to the outlets is fabulous! There are plenty of choices of good restaurants if you like eating out. We enjoy walking to IHOP for breakfast. You can walk to IHOP, Cracker Barrel and Jakes's Restaruant/Bar (great wings). We are very close to Jungle Jims water park which is a huge hit with our kids. Downtown Rehoboth has many unique shops, ice cream spots, restaurants, arcades and of course the boardwalk is great for an evening stroll, plus they have a small amusement park for kids! We typically use the metered parking to go to the beach or downtown.

Great weekend vacation

  • 5 of 5

This rental was very affordable for a last minute getaway. The home was very clean, warm and inviting from the moment you walk through the door. The garage is well stocked with anything and everything you could need for the pool or the beach. There are plenty of linens in the upstairs closets, as well as cook wear, storage containers, and other household items at your disposal in the kitchen. I would definitely stay here again. The owner Michele worked with us to make everything go smoothly.

More than perfect

  • 5 of 5

My sons and I came from San Francisco, NY and Delaware to dance in the Nanticoke Powwow and had the good fortune to rent Michele's lovely condo in The Palms. It was a short 20 minutes from the powwow grounds and, aside from the location, it was all we could have asked for and more. There was a ton of room for all of us, clean sheets and towels and, in the kitchen, enough dishes, glassware and silver for a banquet. We enjoyed the screened in porch and the fact that we didn't need anything....paper towels, dishwashing liquid and detergent were all there for us. Michele was extremely solicitous and easy to work with in this rental. I use VBRO a lot and this is one of the nicest places I've rented. We especially appreciated that there were actually 3.5 bathrooms in the condo! Thanks, Michele! We hope to stay at your lovely condo again next year.

Great place to stay!!

  • 5 of 5

We recently stayed at this vacation home and it was a terrific experience. The house is roomy, clean and comfortable. There are plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms to make the stay enjoyable. The owner is very good deal to deal with, and I would recommend this home to anyone traveling to Rehoboth Beach.

Nice place

  • 4 of 5

This condo was a nice place for our 5 adults and 2 kids. It had pretty much everything you need for a week at the beach--laundry, full kitchen with all the pots, pans, etc. that you could need, beach chairs and beach toys.

We had a good time here...although it got off to a bad start. When we arrived, after driving all day to get there and finally got the kids to bed, we pulled down the covers and the beds weren't made! And this wasn't the bad part-- it took us 45 minutes to find the right sheets for each bed! So the first night was pretty disaterous, everyone was tired and pretty irked by this. If we had known, we would have prepared the beds earlier. The sheets were in a closet upstairs, in the bedroom closets, and we later found some in the dryer downstairs. None of them had tags so it took us forever to figure out which ones went with which beds. Very annoying.

The place was tastefully decorated... if I were being picky I would say it could use some new carpet--when we first arrived the first impression was that it was pretty stained, a big stain in the living room when you first walk in and the stairs' carpet wasn't in the best of shape. But for a week it was fine.

The kitchen is pretty stocked. We did find quite a lot of expired goods that we discarded for the next tenants, but we contributed a lot of basics too like garbage bags, cooking oil, sugar etc. So it would be best to bring your own cooking food, etc.

The location was pretty nice. We had never been to Rehoboth before, but this was located right on the main drag and everything was close by. Just a tip--if you've never been to the area before, the weekends are a mess with traffic, but the week days are good. So the Sunday to Sunday reservation worked great for us (If we had arrived on a Friday we would have thought that horrendous traffic was the norm!)

Also, I wouldn't depend on the "toy" room upstairs--everything was pretty much a mess in that room, puzzles and toys were stashed all over, so I would bring your own entertainment for the kids.

And the condo's listing said something about the beach bus coming to the Palms, but we never saw it and heard that it doesn't come there, you have to drive to a Park N Ride nearby. We didn't need it but just wanted to mention it in case you do, I would call the realtor first to confirm this.

Great vacation home!

  • 5 of 5

We recently stayed at this lovely vacation home for a family wedding. The location is great for shopping, catching the shuttle to the beach and all the great seafood restaurants. The grandchildren enjoyed the pool and had it mostly to themselves. The home was well maintained and very roomy and looks exactly like the pictures. The owner was easy to reach and answered any question very promptly. We really enjoyed the home and would recommend renting it for families coming to Rehoboth Beach.

Rehobeth vacation with a family of 6 adults and two kids

  • 4 of 5

The house itself was decorated very nicely all with a beach theme. The kitchen was well stocked with all plates, pans, and silverware needed. There was even a pantry closet with garbage bags and various zip locks and such. The gas grill was an added plus since the pictures posted showed a charcoal grill. The garage is stocked with chairs, beach toys, and even had a beach cart to lug all stuff to the beach. As far as bedrooms the first floor was great for my parents because they didn't have to walk up and down stairs. There was a flat screen cable t.v. In the first floor living room. Upstairs the additional sitting area was a great play area and even had some toys and another cable t.v. The only thing that I would caution is that it has a ledge that looks down to the first floor which is what my 3 year old tried to do as soon as we got there. However, we just played with her when she was up there so it was fine. The hall bathroom upstairs was the only one that contained a bathtub for the kids. The pool was a short walk to the middle of the complex and was empty every time we went so it was very nice. The location was great for shopping but the main road was much more crowded on the weekend days which was to be expected. The only thing about the house that I didn't like was that my 3 year old could easily open the only lock to the front door. It would have been nice to have a second lock out of her reach. I would stay at this house again and the owner was very prompt to answer any questions before our arrival.
