Cozy cabin just outside Chama, well stocked kitchen, clean and comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms, large area out back for dogs to run around. Host was very responsive and very easy checkout process
Such a gorgeous cabin! Very modern and perfect for families with kids. We had a great experience! Hosts are very friendly and answer any questions quickly. Will definitely come back!
I was able to pull friends from across the country for this stay in Chama to hunt elk in CO. Austin was fantastic and very easy to contact and provided valuable insight to the local area. I will definitely be booking again.
The Buffalo Run cabin was spacious, cozy, and clean. The views from the front and back were spectacular. There were a lot of deer roaming the property. Thank you to Austin & Karlee Phippen for making our stay perfect!
Nice, quiet spot with lovely views from front and back porches. Great communication from the hosts, easy check in and out. Located 2 minutes from Chama, and 2 minutes from the Log River Ranch wedding venue, so great location for our stay. A little worn, but comfortable overall. We'd stay again.
This property was so enjoyable and peaceful. They had games to play with for the grandchildren and lots of space to ride bikes. Nice place to take walks and close to stream for fishing. We are looking forward to staying here again. Thank you for a wonderful peaceful weekend.
A very comfortable cabin for six adults who are related. Easy access to Chama and surrounding area. Property manager very attentive to any problems and very knowledgeable about the Chama region. Would return to this cabin again.
The Buffalo Run cabin in Chama New Mexico was the perfect getaway for the family. The location was easy to find and access and was only a short drive from town. The Chama location provided easy access to northern New Mexico, along with quick access to Pagosa Springs, Creede, and Durango in southern Colorado. Great fishing opportunties near by, along with restaurants, grocery store, gas station, and the Cumbres and Toltec scenic railway made for a great family getaway.
Buffalo Run Cabin is a VRBO that truly reflects the photos you see online. It’s impressive and comfy, with everything you need for a great escape. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch in the evening, watching the hummingbirds vie for position on the feeder that we’d filled. In the morning, 3 bucks roamed behind the cabin. This cabin is especially wonderful for people who love the outdoors. As a retired wildlife biologist, I certainly fit into that category.
