We gave this cabin a three due to incorrect We could see this cabin was a work in progress. There was lumber and other building supplies around the property. I wasn’t expecting anything fancy. Maybe a little hunting cabin like place. However we had trouble with the refrigerator not being at temperature when we arrived and had some groceries to keep cold. Luckily we had a small cooler plus it was cold outside that night. The setting was set lower than it should have been. When we set the refrigerator to temperature the freezer began overfrosting and made all sorts of sounds. It eventually started cooling after my husband made some adjustments. We did not contact the owner as we knew they were aware of the refrigerator not working properly in previous reviews. Also we did not want to deal with them coming into the cabin and handling it while we were there. They needed a new refrigerator completely. It was loud and would

Great little spot to stay in. Wifi was a plus. Got a little chilly due to the windows being older, but they had heaters and blankets to use. Thanks for the hospitality. It made our trip to attend a wedding so much easier.

Amazing little cabin that was a perfect getaway. Dawn was such a great host, and we spent most of our time fishing in the river across the street. We will definitely come back to stay here again!

Such a nice little cabin close to the water, very clean, woke up to a bunch of wild life outside which was awesome!! Definitely will stay here again 100% recommend.

Owner appears to be making improvements with new grill, bed. I would suggest new refrigerator next; this one was noisy. Also a pressure wash of the deck would be an easy improvement. Fishing was great and the owners top notch.

The property was so pretty. We were on the side of a mountain with beautiful trees. We were so close to the river and had private access. The cabin, itself, was so cute, quaint, and. We went fly-fishing with a guide and saw deer and chipmunks. It was an amazing experience.

Great week

Very relaxing stay, Dawn and Johnny were wonderful hosts. They were very friendly and very accommodating of my wifes mobility limitations. The fishing was very good even with the rain and thundestorms which we enjoyed on the cabins large covered porch. We will definitely rebook!

The cabin was quaint. On our first evening, it rained, so we made the most of the large front porch, enjoying the beautiful views and watching the wildlife roam the property. The host gave us access to a private fishing area, and we quickly caught our limit. We all had a wonderful time,

Cozy and relaxing

Very cute cabin with a nice kitchen, perfectly situated by the river and not too far from hiking trails. Beds were comfortable and we were excited to be able to grill as well!

Anniversary

Cute property and walking distance to the river. The property is rustic but in a good way. The interior has so many cute and thoughtful amenities. But most of all...the hosts are amazing and we want to return just to visit!
