The space
Baywood Redwood Retreat is an amazing property to enjoy your next family vacation to the Redwood Coast. We purpose-built Redwood Retreat for family fun! The property is newly renovated and has stunning views of the Baywood Golf Course and is surrounded by Redwood Trees.

Outdoor living
We wanted to create an amazing outdoor experience to enjoy the trees and views. It is unique to have such amazing views of the golf course and redwood forest. The afternoon setting sun eliminates the views and the fog can often be seen rolling over the distant mountains creating a peaceful and rejuvenating experience.

The backyard patio has 1200 ft2 stamped concrete with an outdoor kitchen, with a bar top to enjoy your Grill Masters creations.

Adjacent to the grilling space is a 7 person hot tub, which is so fun to relax under the trees.

And next to the hot tub is a unique gas fire pit with a concrete surrounding table that was custom created with handmade steel logs and steel pine cones. The table is large enough to see 8-10 people and is a great spot to enjoy dinner and drinks. The fire pit has views of the golf course and redwood trees. It will be your favorite gathering spot after a day of hiking in our majestic coastal forests.

The patio also has a corn hole game custom-made from redwood to go along with the theme.

The stairs lead you from the patio and past a gigantic old-growth redwood stump to the terraced grass turf area. Here you will find the kids' favorite spot, with a swing and area to play soccer, bad mitten, or volleyball.

A deck area is just above the grass and is a great spot to enjoy the view of your kids playing the night away.

The lighting sets the mood with 400 feet of string lights that make the entire backyard accessible in the dark of night.

A trail leads to the top of the property with another deck overlooking the Golf course.

There are 4 hammocks strung between Redwoods and resting under the massive redwoods is so relaxing and peaceful.

The house
Baywood was originally built in the 60s and has seen a lot of love over the years. We wanted to modernize the house and create an open concept.

The house is Tri-Level and the game room, which you can use as a 6th bedroom if you have a large group, is on the right as you enter the front door. This room has a cozy couch and a pool table with a 65 inch TV. There is a queen murphy bed that folds down and is a comfortable room that the teens will love.

The stairs lead you to the main level of the house. The bedroom on the right has a queen bed and a massive 8-foot window, that provides views of the yard. This room also has a skylight, so you can see the treetops while lying in bed. There is a 55-inch internet TV as well.

Past the bedroom is the great room. This has an open concept with the kitchen. The couch and Yogiba bean bags are super relaxing to enjoy a movie on the 85 inch TV mounted above the fireplace.

The gourmet kitchen is well stocked with everything you will need for your chefs to create their masterpieces. We believe that cooking is an integral part of the vacation experience and this kitchen will not disappoint. There is a large dining table also in this space that will seat 8-10 people.

The kitchen / great room has lovely views of the golf course. You can watch the golfers driving balls toward the house, with an occasional ball making its way to the front yard. The action from the golf course offers interesting people watching.! The clubhouse has a bar and restaurant and is a short walk from the house.

The Great Room opens to one of my favorite spots, the covered sun porch. This is another dining area and a great spot to enjoy your morning coffee.

Through the sun porch leads you to the bunk room. Your kids will love this spot! There is a TV, electric fireplace, and windows that surround you, so you feel like you are in a treehouse!

Back into the main house is the third level, which has 3 additional bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

Master Bedroom and bath- this room has a king bed and spa-like master bath.

Bedroom 2- king bed, internet TV and is a good area to get any work done with a desk.

Bedroom 3- king bed, internet TV

Bathroom 2- dual vanity sink, bathtub, wall to wall tile

The 7th bedroom is a small cottage located off the driveway nestled under the redwoods. This room has a queen bed and is great spot to enjoy the outdoors. There is a mini fridge for water / drinks and an electric fireplace for chilly nights. There is no bathroom in the cottage.
