We had a very great time at this property, everything was clean well stocked and comfortable. Looking forward to future stays great location just 2 miles from the nearest boat ramp and a short boat ride to the state park. Great time great host great property.
Absolutely beautiful place!! The host was wonderful and accommodating in every way!! Best place to stay if you’re down in the Dardanelle area. Clean and almost right on the water. The sunsets were amazing down on the water.
I had a wonderful stay at this rental. The host was an excellent communicator, making everything from booking to check-in smooth and stress-free. The house was exactly what I needed—a peaceful, quiet retreat where I could unplug and enjoy some much-needed time away from distractions. The location was ideal, offering both convenience and tranquility. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.
Amy and Jerry were so helpful and hospitable. The cottage was clean and very comfortable. It has everything you need, plus. Water and snacks, soap and shampoo, even laundry. Nice touches! We used it for a fishing tournament and the launch is top notch. 8 minute boat ride to the main tournament launch (dardenelle state park) and easy to navigate in the dark/early morning. I recomend 100%
This was a perfect get a way cabin. It was nestled in the woods but easy access to town. 20 minutes from Russellville where my son lived. Much nicer than staying in any hotel and the same price. Amy and Jerry were the best hosts, communication was great and they were quick to answer questions or help out. I wish I would have got to fish but it was too hot. Great place!!!!!
This is a wonderful rental. It is super clean, comfortable, and easy to find. It was a lovely retreat, so quiet, and we just sat and watched the birds, and the wildlife for a lot of our visit. A great place to unwind for a few days. Great hosts. Thanks for letting us enjoy your little slice of paradise.
The cottage was very clean and in like new condition. The property is beautiful and very quiet. The lake views from the boat dock were one of my favorite areas on the property. The hosts are very friendly and easy to communicate with. They make sure you have everything you need and are informative. An excellent price for such a beautiful place. I would definitely stay there again.
Best place to stay in russelville area had a great time. Private dock on lake with great view. Plenty of space to park and house was adorable and comfortable. Was in town metal detecting and they made us feel very welcome. Would definitely recommend 10 out of 10
Overall this was a nice property. The only issue is that the listing stated there was a futon bed in the living room. The bed, was merely a couch with two reclining seats. The seats reclined very far, but that doesn’t make it a bed. If somehow, this fixed reclining couch turns into a futon bed it is very unclear how that is accomplished. Other than this, it was a very nice stay.

If you had made us aware of the issue we would have addressed it at once. That is why we provide contact information. I was literally a stones throw away at our residence. The extra bed is an inflatable twin. Futon is the closest thing in the Vrbo pick list. We did not recognize the need for it since there were only two guests. We would have had it inflated and in the closet had we known. We have found the type with the pump built in not reliable.
I enjoyed my stay while working a 12 hour night shift job. The area is very peaceful and quiet which made it very easy to sleep during daylight hours. The home is very clean with all the amenities needed to make my stay comfortable.I cannot express how appreciative I am of the host. They were so considerate of my sleeping schedule and made sure that I was comfortable. Jerry kindly shared his knowledge of the local fowl and hiking trails. Amy is very sweet and kind and always took the time to speak to me.

We enjoyed our stay and the property was exactly as listed. Our hosts responded quickly to our questions and even gave us some great recommendations in the area! 10/10 would stay again!!
We had a wonderful time! They thought of everything. The area is amazing! The house is perfect for a weekend stay and they helped guide us on activities and they were spot on. Thank you so much for sharing your home.
This comfortable lakeside house was surrounded by a serene wooded area on the lake. The bed was comfortable and everything we needed was there. The property owners were respectful of privacy and a complete delight to communicate with. I would absolutely stay here again.
Great place to stay. Extremely clean, all the wall switches are labeled for function, easy access & parking. Very quiet - heard nothing but the wind in the trees and the waves lapping on the shore. Very relaxing, especially with the outdoor fire pit (hardwood firewood supplied) on the outdoor patio. We'd definitely stay here again when an escape from the city noise and lights is needed.
We enjoyed everything about our stay. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this VRBO.
This one bedroom was absolutely perfect for my husband and I… for our weekend getaway! It was very clean! And had everything that we needed including a fire pit! We were looking for a place specifically on Lake Dardanelle because my son was in the college bass tournament, but we will definitely return to this place if we get the chance!! The owners were extremely friendly and provided information for area. Beautiful home, great stay!!
We enjoyed our time at Lakeshore Retreat. It was perfect for the two of us and we had everything we needed. Slept very well in the king size bed and the double recliners were really comfortable. Everything was as advertised and the hosts were exceptional.
The cottage is located in a quiet and peaceful area surrounded by trees. My husband and I loved it!

About the host
Hosted by Jerry Falleur
My husband (Jerry) and I (Amy) have lived in the Russellville-Paris-Mena area for more than 50 years. We have adventured to many places in the state during this time. We have two adult children and four grand children. Our personal interests include: food, cooking, fishing, hunting, hiking, running, walking, water-falling, site seeing, power-boating, scuba diving, canoeing and kayaking.
Why they chose this property
We were living about an hour West in the town of Charleston, I am a radiation therapist (recently retired) I took a locum tenum job in Russellville during vacation from my normal job in Fort Smith. Subsequently, I decided I would like to take a full time position that was open there. My husband was agreeable as long as we could find a place on the lake or with a very good view. He is an engineer for a company in a nearby community. After looking for a house or property in a number of area communities we discovered this property. We cleared it by hand, contracted the building of the cottage to live in while we sold our Charleston property. As luck would have it our property there sold quickly. We moved to the cottage and started construction of the house we live in now.
What makes this property unique
Our clean and modern cottage is convenient to many of the local attractions. It is a 1 minute walk on the trail to our dock on the lake. It offers a quiet peaceful, very low traffic environment. It is close to the town of Dardanelle (6 miles) & Russellville (7 miles) for restaurants and shopping. It is equipped with DSL/wireless internet and Direct TV (smart TV). It is only 0.6 miles off of State Highway 22 in a quiet and peaceful area with plenty of room for trailer parking. 2 miles from nearest boat ramp. 3.4 miles from Mount Nebo.
