Beautiful Centrally Located Condo in Silverthorne w/ Easy Access to Ski Areas

This updated 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo sleeps 6 with a queen bed and a queen-over-queen bunk bed. It features hardwood flooring, a gas fireplace, a private deck with outdoor seating and a full size kitchen with stainless steel appliances. This rental is a perfect balance of being able to enjoy a quiet stay away, yet the ski areas are conveniently just a short drive away or quickly accessible via the nearby shuttle stops. Treehouse Condominiums offers a wide array of amenities including a clubhouse with an indoor pool and three hot tubs. There's also a sauna, a racquetball court, fitness facilities and coin-operated laundry facilities. There's a fun game room with pool tables, an air hockey table, a ping pong table and a variety of arcade games. Outside there's a tennis court and a playground.

The entryway features mounted hooks and a closet for your convenience as you come and go throughout the day. The cozy living area features hardwood flooring, comfortable furniture, a gas fireplace, and a large flat screen TV. Step outside to the private deck to enjoy treed views and the fresh mountain air.

The recently updated, full size kitchen is stocked with all the essential cookware and tableware to make a meal away from home and features granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. The dining table is between the kitchen and living area and seats four. The guest bathroom has a single sink vanity with granite countertops and shower/tub combination. Both bathrooms are stocked with towels and an initial supply of toiletries.

The primary bedroom features a queen-sized bed and a flat screen TV. The primary bathroom features a single sink vanity also with granite countertops and a separated toilet and shower area for added privacy with walk-in shower. The guest bedroom offers a queen-over-queen bunk bed as well as a closet.

NOTE: Treehouse will no longer be providing cable TV after March 7, 2025. Streaming services will still be available using the Wi-Fi as the complex upgrades to Xfinity.

(For additional sleeping options, air mattresses are available upon request for a small fee.)

Hiccups outweigh the positives

Negatives: terrible wireless service that keeps cutting out after being hard to log-in. Door lock keypad did not work- had to call mgr who finally got us into physical key lock box. Had to use key every entry in very dark hallway. Hot water takes forever to flow in showers. TV system seems not to give access to any usual channels- who can tell with having 4 remotes and no clear instructions. Not enough lighting- too few lamps, too dim bulbs. Would like to be more positive, but it is what it is.

Treehouse stay

The condo was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked and the condo was very comfortable. Great central location , as we were skiing both Copper and Breck.. It was also close to Dillon and Frisco.

Easy, clean and a REALLY WARM.

Location and property were great. Couldn't get the temperature of the unit below 74 so we slept with the windows open when it was 20 degrees outside. Other than that minor thing the place is fantastic. Will definitely go back.

Perfect location, roomy, and beautifully decorated

When you walk in the door, the space takes your breath away. It was perfect for me, my husband and my 84 yr old mom. It was great for her to have no steps to deal with, and a bathroom close to her bed. The walk in shower was a plus. Also very nice to have a second bathroom/shower so she could have the ensuite all to herself. The kitchen was beautiful with all the dishes/pots/pans/utensils you could possible need. It was perfect.

Better than I remember

I used to live in Summit County, in Treehousefor a time as a matter of fact. It’s changed so much, and for the better for sure! This unit is spotless. New stuff. The couches and furniture are nice. This location is awesome too. 5 minutes away from Silverthorne. Right on The Stage, so you can leave the driving to someone else.

Great location

Some updates are done, others need to be done. We had issues with radiators not being off had to sleep in 80 degrees. Had plenty of towels but doors in closets would not open properly, made it hard to hang up clothes.

Reviewer Comments: The temperature in the condo was so hot, windows had to be open at all times and sometimes that didn't even help.The fire alarm constantly went off and took over 24 hours to remedy.Furniture was pretty shabby, only 1 of the 4 recliners worked and all of them had torn materials.

This complex is not for renters. The HOA has hired a terrible company to manage parking. I arrived at midnight and had my car booted before 9am. Dealing with them felt like dealing with the mob. Horrible accent , could not understand what he was saying. There is a spa area for owners only right behind condo. But renters have to go to main guest area for spa. It is not walking distance in a swimsuit in winter.

Very hot and no way to cool down

The listing should more clearly state no AC. They say there's a fan and there is, but it sounds like an airplane taking off. Open the windows and you get traffic noise. It was very hot. Probably OK for skiing but not for off season stay. Also, the elaborate check-in system didn't work (parking or door) so we had to get someone on the phone to help us open a lock box and complete the parking permit. Seems unnecessarily complicated.

We endured it!

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit had heat that never would shut off! The maintenance staff said it was because it was between floors. Thermostat was set to 65 and the unit would not get below 78 without opening all windows. In the winter this is not ideal. The radiant heaters were always on. No discount or adjustment for our stay. There was an electrical issue in the living room that took two days to fix. The clubhouse was dirty and unusable for adults. The bathrooms were not clean when we arrived. Used soap in shower and hair on the shower walls. The furniture was torn and not functional. The furniture was electric reclining sofas and they were stuck out and would not retract. A very bad tripping hazard.

Difficulty checking in… door code provided didn’t work upon 11:00pm arrival. Keypad door lock only worked 1 of 5 times; quite frustrating throughout the week. One of the electric recliners was broken in the reclined position. Moldy shower, moldy toilet. TV was not connected to internet (even though it was capable of it). WiFi was UTTERLY USELESS. Unbelievably frustrating experience with the WiFi… ended up using my phone as a hotspot to get some critical work completed (and Verizon service is not strong there). In general, the media and internet experience was not all all to modern expectations for a vacation rental. I hope the owners address this. Otherwise enjoined the location, game room, pool, and hot tub - and was the saving grace for our kids given the media challenges.

Would never stay here or deal with this management company again

Had to email to make sure I still had a reservation.* Online parking registration didnt work. Was advised that this happens - had to call in.* Door has 3 lock options and they don't specifiy which one. After 10 minutes we figured out that you had to pull the door in while you entered the code.Struggle to lock as well.* Daycare being run in this building. * Very sketchy people hanging out in parking lot. Leering at my 14 year old daughter. * Back porch photo is definitely altered. You look onto a parking lot. * TVs didnt work first day. They sent someone next day but only fixed bedroom and didnt update me. Living room TV never fixed and they lied that someone came - they said they fixed bedroom even though it had been fixed already.* Dust everywhere. Chip bag left in couch cubby. Soda can under table. Couch is ripped and shabby.* Main bed was horribly lumpy.* You had to pay for the pool table and air hockey table in photos.Many of these are no big deal, but add them all together and it made for a VERY disappointing stay. I am irritated that Marriot would list this. Thank God Vail and surrounding areas are beautiful.
