Legendary Getaways Un Limited is all about making memories with family, friends, and if you are lucky, BOTH! We specialize in larger properties great for groups or families: I prefer a property where you don't have to keep the grandchildren quiet or worry about disturbing the neighbors. I grew up with a large extended and blended family and my Aunt Sadie had a place we could go for family gatherings and milestones, where my dad was born and my grandmother had the first phone installed. Those feelings of comfort, familiarity, and a nostalgic longing for days past made us appreciate our memories and wish everyone could experience something like that so we started Legendary Getaways and Legendary Vacations. We treat everyone like family and want our guests to feel like this is also their place to bring friends and family every year and encourage this by favoring returning guests with discounts. We have been coming to Angel Fire for the beauty and scenery combined with year-round activities forever but it remains small and private with the convenience of larger cities nearby and without the prices of our neighboring Colorado resorts. Drivable from all surrounding states so you can bypass the airports if you desire, making it so much more affordable for the couple with 6 kids!

This family homestead is less than a mile from where scenes were filmed meant to depict the beauty of Montana in the world famous movie, Lonesome Dove. It seems remote without being so (has high speed fiberoptic!) and is fairly easy to drive to. The beauty of this property is truly magnificent and does remind me of Montana. Looking at the views of Wheeler Peak in the background, I am reminded of scenes from the John Wayne movie Grit and I wouldn't be too surprised to see John Wayne or Glen Campbell come riding up to the fence! As a matter of fact, our location is perfect for privacy, we host many VIP's and are happy to sign a NDA for your peace of mind.
