Our family enjoyed a great getaway at Blue Heron. The property was clean and had all of the extras like soap/shampoo, dish soap, trash bags, and even some spices. The owners went the extra mile and even had some bakery goods delivered on our first day! The neighborhood was fun and the kids enjoyed the beach, playground, and lake. I enjoyed watching the deer and relaxing on the screened-in porches. This is definitely a place we would stay again if we returned to the area!
The cabin was beautifully renovated - comfy beds, spacious, modern decor. A few quirks that come with an older house but overall would recommend! We enjoyed the area - short walk to the beach/pool, quick drive to many attractions, quiet neighborhood, the kids loved seeing the deer wandering around. The hosts were very thoughtful - games for the kids, beach chairs to use, some delicious local baked goods as a welcome gift.
Lot's of bedrooms for a large party to spread out. Very functional kitchen area and lots of space to relax in the dinning room and front porch. Nice easy walk to the swimming area and pool. Great quiet street perfect for kids to play in the yards and to practice riding bikes. Also great area for any one of any age to bike around and enjoy the quiet neighborhoods. Good communication from the host. I would definitely stay here again.
We had a great week at this cozy house in Albrightsville, PA. There was plenty of room for our group of 6 adults & 2 children. The owner was easy to communicate with & responded to emails quickly. The house was well stocked with kitchen supplies, linens, & towels. We enjoyed walking to the pool & playground with our grandchildren. It was nice to see all the deer roaming freely in the neighborhood. We would definitely stay again!
Upon arrival, the check-in process was seamless. We received the access information several hour before check in. The home was very clean and the aesthetics of the home is definitely comfortable and considerate for large groups. The decor was very intentional and felt cozy. Many throws blankets are available throughout the home for comfort. There are a few nooks throughout the home for a quiet reading or work space. There are books and an abundance of games and sporting equipment to be accessed. One of my favor features was a guest book where you can review past visitors experience and a space for you to create your own. That was the perfect touch .
Comfortable and cozy. Close enough drive to hike the Hickory Run park and shop in Jim Thorpe. Kitchen was big enough for all of us to make a few meals. Would recommend and would re-visit!!!
The home was lovely, the host was great! We all love seeing the deers and how close they would come up to use, we enjoyed the are, the house and the location was awesome. Thank you Gavin!!
The photos shown were accurate and the location was perfect. Beds and bedding were super comfortable and bathrooms very clean. Screened-in porches were a plus! The open living room and kitchen provided ample space to gather. A plethora of deer and other wildlife right outside the windows every morning and early evening! A short walk to the lake and pool, plus plenty of side roads for walking enthusiasts. Owner responded immediately to any questions/concerns/requests. A quiet, relaxing stay in the woods.
We were in the search for a great property with all the possible amenities and entertainment with at least 4 bedrooms with greater or equal to queen size beds, and Gavin's home shown up! This is a well-maintained property and a must have gem! We (as two families, including 6 adults and 2 infants) enjoyed our memorial day here!
Our group really enjoyed our time at this gem of a house. It was very clean and cozy with all of the up-to-date decor. The neighborhood is quiet and very accessible to downtown Jim Thorpe, hiking trails, and lots of other recreational activities. Gavin was a great host and quick to respond. We would stay again!
The property was amazing - we were all very happy in terms of the warmth, space, and general aesthetic. Gavin was amazing - very responsive and accommodative from day one- our coffee machine ended up not working and he got a new one to replace it the next day. Overall amazing trip - the place looks like it actually does in the picture - I’d go again and so would the group I came with
Pictures were accurate and place was clean. What makes this different than most of the other rentals I’ve had is it was fully stock as expected. The house had soap, paper towels, a good range of pots, pans, cookware and even salt, pepper and plastic wrap. If you want to feel like you are at your second home, then you should rent this place.
Great Host and lovely area. Words can not describe how beautiful the home is. All the rooms are comfortable and the mattresses were the best we have slept in.
We had a wonderful and fun weekend. The home was very clean and fully stocked. It was extremely cold temperatures so we spent a lot of time indoors and the home had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable with soft plush bedding. I would highly recommend staying here and hope to be back next season.
Gavin was great to work with. He was quick to respond when I had a question. The house was spacious and well stocked. Easy check in and out. Lovely stay and getaway with the family.
We loved the cabin. It was clean, cozy but also very spacious. We enjoyed using the grill and making family style dinners to enjoy on the large kitchen table. The fireplaces were lovely and the house was well stocked with board games which we loved. Would rent again!
The house was very nice new appliances and Nice location. Owner is great very accommodating
