Loved this house and the location. Everything was exactly as advertised and was located in a very quiet neighborhood that was still close to all the activities that we wished to participate in. The host was extremely responsive to all my questions (derived from being chronically sleep-deprived before setting out on this trip and not because of issues with the property, lol!) I especially appreciated the comfortable bed and the spotless condition of the house. Highly recommended and would definitely stay there again.

My wife and I truly enjoyed our stay in this Bear Creek house. Hattie was an excellent hostess, very responsive and very knowledgeable about the area. The house is well equipped and we had everything we needed or wanted. We loved the location, close enough to Jim Thorpe to easily access its many interesting sites, but away from the hustle, bustle and traffic on the first October weekend of the Fall Foliage season. We enjoyed biking on the rail trail along the Lehigh River and hiking in Hickory Run State Park. We were entertained by 5-6 deer every morning and evening right outside our VRBO windows! We recommend this house and would stay there again in the future.

Lovely cabin with everything we needed. We were delighted to be able to charge our car as well! Check in and check out instructions were timely and easy to follow. We’d definitely stay again. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We stayed 5 nights and had a wonderful vacation. Convenient to everything. Plenty of fishing, swimming and walking. House was very pretty and clean. Huge front porch which we enjoyed during our stay.

It wasn’t warm enough to enjoy any of the community amenities but the house was in a good location for the activities we had planned. The neighborhood is quiet and located close to Jim Thorpe and surrounding attractions.

Short two night stay

My husband and I had a quick two-night stay at this lovely property. It was very clean, conveniently stocked with everything we needed. The area is located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood.The host checked in with us a few times- which was great! Check in and out were easy. We would happily stay again!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. It was super clean and had everything we would need to enjoy a great weekend. It was quiet and secluded but close to the town of Jim Thorpe, biking and hiking trails. We played pickleball at Bear Creek Lake Community center where they also have tennis, a playground and pool. The host was really good with communicating instructions and very prompt at answering any questions we had. We would come back to this home again if we were in the area.

Good location. House was nice and welcoming. Communication with Hattie was very quick and easy. The only reason for a 4 is due to a temperature issue. Other than that I would give it a 5.
