Perfect property for our family

Everything about our stay was great. I will say that the living room furniture is in need of replacement. All other aspects were perfect!

We had such a wonderful time. The host was more than accommodating, the dryer in the unit was out of commission during our stay, but they brought us extra towels during our visit and even offered to take our laundry and have it done for us during our trip. As well as being extremely understanding when we were late checking out. If I could give 10 stars I would. Definitely recommend to anybody. Looking for a great family stay. We will definitely be back.

We have stayed at multiple places along this street on Okaloosa Island and this is by far my favorite of all. There's plenty of space for the 7 adults we traveled with, including the dining room table! We will certainly return to this unit on our next visit to the area.

We absolutely loved our time here and will be back! It’s the perfect facility for any age or group size. It’s easy to get to the pools and a short walk to the beach. We used the fire pit as well and that was nice. Overall just loved the property and have no complaints whatsoever!

Our stay was okay

Condo was nice. Lack of communication from Best Beach Gateaway regarding a non functioning shower prior to us checking in. We had 8 people in our group and that made it inconvenient at times. Location was great, beach was great. Well never book on VRBO using Best Beach Gateaway.

Family Summer Vacation

All was good except for one of the bathrooms the shower could not be used. Very frustrated with that for sure. I was told I would get a reimbursement of 10% but I have not seen that as of yet.

Summer vacay

Condo was clean. Beds were very comfortable. Check in was super easy and we were able to check in when condo was cleaned before 4! Condo looks exactly like the pics on line. Smaller property so we did not have to fight for parking, pool area or front row beach access. We would come back for sure.

Great location and beautiful condo

First time visiting Okaloosa Island and will return! The condo was a perfect size for our group of 9. The beach wasn’t crowded at all and that was a major plus.

May 2024 vacation

We came down to stay and celebrate my son graduating college. The view was beautiful, we felt safe being in a gated community, and the pool area was lovely. The condo was clean and spacious. We were just a bit farther out than we usually stay and we enjoy walking to restaurants so that was the only issue we had. It did not hinder us from having fun. I'd recommend this property to others.

This property was absolutely beautiful. We had an issue with the original property that we booked (through another company), and this company was able to work with us to quickly get into this beautiful condo.

Wonderful Property

Great location - Beach was not overcrowded for this time of year. Unit was as described and would recommend for larger families. Only issue was with A/C but they resolved that fairly quickly.

Great family time

Nice property amenities. Beautiful views. Easy access to pools and beach. Would def stay again! My only negative is the strict only 2 parking spaces. There were plenty of available spaces. The option to purchase an extra parking pass would be nice.

Great View! Clean and spacious

We had a wonderful time staying in this unit. Two families w/ kids. The beds were comfortable and for those that need it there was a pack-n-play and high chair. Loved having the full size washer and dryer. Wish they had given us more bath towels. Didn’t feel like there were enough for the size of the place. So we had to wash them several times and there weren’t extras while washing them. Having trash shoot close was also a plus. We loved using the beach service that came with the unit - 2 chairs and an umbrella. There are not any extras when it comes to kitchen stuff, only those things necessary. At other places we have stayed you typically find some things in the kitchen that others purchased So bring anything you may need if you plan to make something special. The appliances were nice - gas stove, full-size fridge. The 2 included parking spots was awesome. Would like to have had a list of some recommended restaurants, shopping, things to do with kids near by in ft. Walton. But google helped there. Would def recommend and we are looking forward to coming back.

Mixed Review

The location is beautiful and the amenities (pool, beach access) were excellent. But we had some issues 1) Not informed until too late to cancel that only 2 parking passes are provided. We were three families traveling from different locations. This was a major problem for us. Consequently we will not rent here again; 2) The front door has no deadbolt and is not child proof. We had a 2 yr old wander off; 3) The water heater tripped numerous times leaving us with no hot water; 4) The clothes dryer is very hot and left scorch marks on some clothes and finally 5) We were notified on the day of check in that one shower leaks and not to use it.

Blu is Awesome!

Over the years we have stayed at many ocean front VRBO condos and this one at Blu was by far the absolute best of all. This is our new go to favorite. We loved that it was spacious and well laid out, new and well decorated, and had beautiful oceanfront views. I loved that this complex was completely gated and very secure. We even loved there was a trash chute making our clean up easy…no walking to the dumpster. Parking was also covered which was really nice too. We went in mid May so the weather and the low crowds were ideal. If there even was a negative which really there wasn’t, is that I couldn’t find any potholders for our cookies we baked. We really appreciated the complimentary beach service too. Thank you so much for your attention to detail, ease of booking, and great communication.

Blu review

Everything was great! The air stopped working a few times and AC man came back each day to fix it. Everything was clean, nice, and comfortable beds. The only issue was the refrigerator did not have water or wouldn’t make ice. We asked to get it fixed but was more focused on the air. Overall it was a wonderful experience and we will definitely rent it out again!!

Everything at Blu is perfect from the beautiful large condo to the double pool all the way to the white sand crystal clear beach waters. We will be back for sure

GREAT Stay!

We had a great stay at blu 407! The property was perfect for our group of 6; excellent views, beautiful pools, easy beach access, quiet location, but close to busy Destin!!! Would definitely recommend to friends/family and would stay here again! The only items missing were food storage containers in the kitchen-- but really not a big deal. Next time, I'll just know to bring my own.

Excellent experience!!!!!

You truly can’t beat the location of this condo- and the views from the 4th floor end unit!!! Wonderfully appointed. Easy check in process. Secure property with gated pool, gated parking lot, underground parking. Great work out room. One of the pools was heated and hot tub was nice. Very nice outdoor area with plenty of nice pool chairs and the beach service was fantastic as well. Great decor and TONS of closet space, large laundry room, nice sized bedrooms and fantastically large balcony. We were super happy with the Keurig and Ninja blender as well as ample amount of dishes. ***the kitchen is in need of additional cookie sheets, wine opener, potato peeler, serving bowls… also it seems like in the past there were storage bowls or containers, but all that is left are the lids.*** easy fix so we are not going to rate this condo less than 5 stars just bc of that. The ice machine is not connected. But we easily bought ice at Tom Thumb and Publix. We had 6 of us in the unit and all said we would rent this exact condo again in the future. Great location to restaurants like the Gulf, Stewbys, fubar pizza, Old Bay Steamer.
