Very clean and spacious, as advertised. Great communication and Piotr greeted us at the door showing us around. Very comfortable for a family, huge kitchen and very functional. Would definitely stay again. Also the location was so convenient to everything
The apartment is awesome! Super spacious and incredibly well appointed with every amenity and extra you could imagine. We appreciated two bathrooms, rooms for everyone and a huge kitchen. Peter, the house manager, was helpful and very accommodating. Thanks for a great place to stay!
This property was perfectly located for easy walking to everything. The hosts were very accomodating and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed. We would absolutely stay here again.
This property was just what we needed for my family’s trip to Galway. Located a short walk from the center city. it was spacious and quiet. It was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. Tesco was close by so we were able to pick up groceries easily. Highly recommend!!
Location was perfect! Really perfect!!
Literally 2 minutes walk to the finest restaurants in town. And 2 minutes walk to the grocery store. Yet perfectly quiet
My wife and I kept saying how lucky we were to have found this apartment. Worth every penny and more

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Excellent location, upgrades badly needed.
Beds and pillows were the worst we have had at a VRBO. Ended up sleeping on the couch for two of the three nights. Bathrooms are both down a flight of stairs— not on the same level as bedrooms or living room. Not recommended for anyone with health issues. Many stairs to navigate to access the rooms.
The accommodations at our Devin Place apartment was very good! Location was a 10 minute walk from where it all happens in Galway. It is a quiet part of town and I believe that all of the other “apartments” are actually businesses, so the entire black is quiet after 5 pm and before 8 or 9. To be honest, it was quiet all the time.
The kitchen was well equipped, the two bedroom, spacious and mostly comfortable. The family room was huge and was very comfortable as well! We were very happy with our stay!! Ireland and in particular Galway is a wonderful city with an awesome atmosphere! Highly recommend you include the city, and this apartment in your plans!
The flat was the perfect location and size for our four adult (2 couples) group. Practically everything is within walking distance. Kitchen has more than you need to cook some of your own meals with a grocery store only a couple blocks away. The living/bedroom furniture was a very comfortable place for all four of us to relax and visit after a long day, with plenty of space for our luggage and personal belongings. Our only issue is that the property description should include the fact that there are a lot of stairs to climb, not only to get into the flat, but inside as well. Our group had some older individuals who had trouble with that amount of stairs, especially after a long day of touring and when they had to get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. Also, although nothing can be done about this, if you have a car, make sure it is a compact car, as the drive to the back of the building is super narrow. Our rental car barely made the turns. The only way we could do so was to fold the exterior side mirrors in before entering/exiting. Overall, I highly recommend this flat for its comfort, functionality and location - as long as your car is small and you can navigate the stairs. Oh, and Peter was a compassionate, very accommodating host!
This residence was located in a great area and very convenient to the fun part of town. Our weekend in Galway was so much fun with so many things happening.
That said, we were disappointed with our lodging. Primarily, it should be mentioned in the listing that it is 3 flights up (no elevator) and another flight down for the bathrooms. The pictures of the living spaces really didn’t look like the rooms. The twin bedroom beds were not terribly comfortable. Fortunately we travel with all of our toiletries because there were no soaps or shampoos.
It was a very flukey time in Galway and very warm. We touched base with Liz as there was only 1 fan. Peter was extremely responsive and brought us a fan on our first night.
Finally, and I know I must sound petty, but I was very disappointed that we did not have the Welcome Basket that is mentioned many times in all the listings.

Lovely accommodations, very neat and clean.
We enjoyed our stay in this apartment located in a very nice neighborhood. Three of us, grandmother, mother, and daughter, occupied the apartment for a week. We were able to walk downtown or get public transportation very easily. Several nice restaurants were within walking distance. The apt was furnished with the basic food items needed to get started the first morning (and we arrived late at night), so that was a blessing. We would recommend these accommodations to anyone.

Perfect location. Very responsive and helpful owner.
We loved the location. Easy walking to Salthill Promenade, the Latin Quarter, and Eyre Square. A full grocery store was around the corner, although the thoughtful welcome basket and stocked refrigerator meant we didn't need to immediately run for groceries. Loved being able to do laundry while we stayed. The layout is perfect with the 2 bedrooms nicely separated, providing privacy. Everything we needed was there. Would definitely stay again. The only real challenge was parking. We had a compact SUV, with side mirrors that couldn't be pulled in once the engine was started. There were only INCHES to spare on either side of the driveway. Still can't believe we didn't scrape up the car on the side of the buildings!

Nice place for a family stay
Our family of five enjoyed staying at the Silver Teal property. The one thing I would recommend to improve the experience would be more timely check in instructions. Galway was the last place we visited in Ireland, so we left the USA over a week before our arrival. It would have been nice to have lock box info before we left, since WiFi was spotty during our travels. (Maybe we should have arranged for international cell coverage.) The townhouse was clean and comfortable. The complimentary food basket was so appreciated. We got there a bit late after taking the train from Dublin. There was plenty of food for a light dinner and breakfast the first morning! It was an easy walk to all the sights and shopping in Galway. A great location.

Perfect
My family had such a great stay at the Crescent! Cathy made it feel like a home and provided us with just the right amount of food to cook our own breakfasts before we ventured out each day. There is also a grocery store less than a 5 minute walk from the flat that has anything else you may want during your stay. The flat is located in the perfect area, very quiet and is only about a 10 minute walk or less to the heart of the Latin district where there are numerous pubs, restaurants, and stores. We walked to this area every night for dinner and to people watch. Unless you’re exploring beyond the city you don’t need a car. The flat itself is well appointed with everything you need as well. Comfortable living room, beds, and also a washer and dryer which was great. Cathy was a great host and made checking in so easy and great suggestions of things to do. I would absolutely stay here again and will tell anyone visiting Galway to stay here.

About the host
Hosted by Cathy Morgan, Your Time in Ireland SR
We've enjoyed many travels ourselves over the years and stayed in many hotels. Often great but sometimes misery when we would have preferred the comfort & privacy of our own apartment or town house! Putting all this into good practice in our solid and beautiful Silver Crescent Townhouse & Coach House in Galway City, we consistently offer superbly high standards to the active traveller in top notch and welcoming home-from-home environments.
For 1 to 2 weeks and more, we are here - working hard to maintain the things that count – fresh & clean homes, top quality finishes, services & utilities, fine fresh bed linens, duvets & pillows, beds fully made up, fridge freshly stocked with Useful Items, and our Local Guides on where to go and what to do!
At Your Time in Ireland you will quickly settle in to get going with your activities - wonderful trips & tours, activities, explorations, excellent town walks and small adventures - out and about Galway & the West of Ireland!
Why they chose this property
Our top-notch short stay options are just 5 mins away from the liveliest quarters of Town yet peaceful and quiet for a great night’s sleep. Galway City is alive with visitors, restaurants, cafes, and unique traditional Irish pubs and live music and you will have made an excellent choice by staying with us on The Crescent. Galway is a great town! - the capital city of Connacht is a bustling, lively and creative university city that sits at the end of Lough Corrib and the River Corrib as it wends its way to the Atlantic Ocean. Long a busy merchant town with a serious maritime tradition and backdrop, Galway’s trading history can be seen in town canals, water breaks & salmon weirs, pier heads, and sea-side promenades and walkways, plus rich ancient woodlands that survive in precious pockets around the town. Our location on The Crescent is part of this older world of Galway going back to the early 1830’s - when trains ran to Clifden, and a tramline ran from Eyre Square via The Crescent to the seaside promenades of Salthill. The Coach House and our Town Apartments are located in the elegant old Townhouse some 160 years standing, and we do everything we can to maintain the ambience of this lovely old period house accompanied by some beautiful & contemporary touches and features of today.
What makes this property unique
Settle quickly into a perfect and welcoming traditional Irish Townhouse - beds all made up, fridge stocked, and generous Welcome Basket of groceries in place.
