The Golden Sands, located in Ocean City, offers everything a vacationer could want without needing to leave the building complex. During the summer season, visit the beach bar and grill, sandwich shop, convenience store, and gift shops.

This coastal condo is perfect for your next beach-cation! It's well-equipped with everything you, your family, and a group of friends could ever need to spend a carefree and restful vacation. The kitchen has been equipped with all the essentials, including a full-size fridge, stove, oven, coffee maker, and microwave. Don't hesitate and surprise your loved ones with savory meals and beach snacks during your stay. The living area is all about comfort and coziness with inviting furniture and a large TV. Then, make your way over to the private balcony and get ready to experience a picture-perfect sun set that will blow your mind!

Things to Know
The building provides complimentary WiFi as a courtesy, but it is not guaranteed.
The indoor pool will be closed beginning Monday, March 2, 2026 through Friday, March 14, 2026 for our annual maintenance. The pool will reopen on Saturday, March 15, 2026.
Per building management, cannabis is prohibited everywhere on the Golden Sands grounds.
The indoor pool and large outdoor pool will not accommodate children in diapers. There is an outdoor kiddie pool provided for children in diapers.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Obsolete and Overprices

The location of the property and the cabana were great. The elevators weren't working properly. I stayed at the Golden Sands about 20 years ago and the elevators didn't work properly at that time. The condo needed a lot of help. It was very dusty and dirty. Not enogh chairs in the living room to watch TV. The TV in the bedroom didn't work. Most of the light fixtures didn't work, no lights in the bedroom. The condo was not a good value for price I paid. Obsolete and Overpriced!!! Regards Tom

The unit is very outdated! Sleeper sofa was like sleeping on springs. Kitchen chair padding is literally falling out the sides. Black stuff all around vents, especially in the bedroom. Doesn't matter what temp you set the washer machine at, washes it in hot.. WIFI does not work! We tried several times throughout our stay and our phones couldn't connect. The cleaning crew cleaned so well (not) that the previous renter's paperwork was still on the kitchen counter. I did message the realtor n sent pics of the kitchen, was disgusting! Won't be back

Nice stay but could use some updates.

This is the second time that my family and I stayed in this unit. Regarding proximity to the beach and amenities, everything was great. It is walking distance to the beach, has two pools for the kids and a tiki bar for the grown-ups and being on the first floor, it was a short walk up/down the stairs for whatever we needed. The kids enjoyed sitting out on the balcony, enjoying the live music, DJ, and watching the sunrise and sunset over the beach. However, the listing indicated that there was Wi-Fi included on premises, and there was none. This unit has no router or modem, which made it very difficult to receive any sort of Wi-Fi. My husband needed to login to his computer a few times while on our vacation and he had a very difficult time accessing his work due to the poor Wi-Fi services. Additionally, the mattresses were not the greatest as he and I woke up with back pain and could use replacing. Lastly the hot/cold water in the shower was difficult to figure out at first but eventually we got it. Overall, we really enjoyed our week and our two girls had an amazing beach vacation.

2nd time in this unit

This year there were a couple of disappointments. It is the perfect location and wonderful amenities as before. The cleaning crew did not clean very well. We had to clean the bathroom ourselves. There were black hairs on the floor, toilet and tub area, and a used wash cloth hanging in the tub. The bed near the window had a wheel missing and the mattress sinks in the middle. Needs replaced. The plastic shower liner wasn't wide enough and water was getting all over the floor. The screen door on the balcony is missing wheels and it fell off. In general, the unit needs updated... the dirty ficus tree with fall leaves and the scarecrow needs to go! Please bring it to this century. I do love the place and would come back but needs a few things done. Needs a couple of serving bowls. I had to make fruit salad in a pot! Oh, they booted my daughters car even though we paid the proper fees. The lady put the wrong date on the pass! It was upsetting.

Great vacation

We had a fantastic week here. The room was a little dated, but we weren't going for vanity. The staff was excellent and we met some really nice people from all over. The hotel was clean, pools were well maintained and the beach was really nice. They play music on the deck during the day by the pool and bar area and then have some live music at night (small duos) they had a trivia night, karaoke and a lot of interaction with the kids. They have volleyball, shuffleboard, cornhole, tennis, pickleball, an arcade and more. There is a lot to do. $3 for the bus all day that will take you anywhere on the strip, restaurants, bars, shopping and the boardwalk ect. They have a small bakery, deli, mini market, ice cream shop and tiki bar which all came in handy. The live music is literally directly under the balcony of this room from about 630 - 930, we didn't mind it at all, but some people might. We weren't in the room a whole lot at this time anyway, but it really didn't bother us when we were. Sofa bed is definitely not comfortable and shouldn't be counted as a bed. Overall, we loved the place and will book again next year.

Amazing property

It was like being on a cruise! Staff everywhere constantly cleaning up and assisting people and so many amenities! The WIFI in our unit was the worst ever and the elevator wait time was horrendous but that was our only complaint. Can't wait to come back!

Really cute
