Most don't want to leave Osprey Villa when they get here. But if you want to venture out, you are a short drive to Owa Amusement Park and Water Park, The Wharf, where you'll find all kinds of restaurants, bars, shops, Rave theater, and a world class amphitheater featuring the top entertainment. Also within a short drive is the World famous LuLu's (famous because LuLu is Jimmy Buffet's sister and he sometimes shows up at the restaurant unannounced!), Tacky Jacks, or Acme Oyster House.. The beautiful Soldiers Creek Golf Club is only a five minute drive to the North. The infamous Pirates Cove is 4 miles away (best 'dive' bar and hamburger joint on the Coast).

Want to shop? The largest outlet mall in the South is only 15 minutes away.

Don't miss the Legends show.... highly recommended. Straight out of Vegas.

And yes, a large pontoon boat is on site and experienced boaters are welcome to use it for a daily fee! The boat is great for sightseeing, sun tanning, exploring, fishing...!

A green thumb lives here..... Something you won't find at most vacation rentals....Trees! Osprey Estate has literally thousands of trees and plants! Palms, live oaks, magnolias, river burch, cypress, red oaks, oleanders, bananas, loblolly pines, redbuds, azaleas, lemons, satsumas, peach.... goes on and on - we've catalogued over 10,000 individual plants, and nearly 100 species.

I know all of this 'sounds' really great. But possibly the best feature Osprey Villa has to offer is the lack of noise. What you are likely to hear: Osprey (fishing hawks), pelicans, ducks, geese, a dog bark now and then, dolphins, speckle trout, the occasional fishing boat or dolphin tour boat, the occasional cigarette boat making a high speed run in the Intercoastal, crabs (jk), the pool dribbling over the infinity edge, the breeze blowing through the palms, or maybe some Bob Marley tunes coming from your Cabana.

What you are NOT likely to hear: Traffic, crowds, announcements, elevator dings, horns, sirens, people complaining, or annoying people (unless you bring 'em....and PLEASE don't bring annoying people to our paradise)....

Osprey Villa is very easy to get to. The Villa is located approximately 40 minutes from Pensacola Airport, and little over one hour from the Mobile Airport. Drive times are approximately four hours from Birmingham, five hours from Atlanta, nine hours from Dallas / Houston / Nashville.

Grocery service is available :-) For a fee, you can have the pantry and refrigerator stocked before you arrive. Just send us your shopping list. . We can also assist with catering for your parties, and helicopter tours or hot air balloon rides over the beautiful American Riviera. We can also assist with fishing trips...anything from a back bay trip, to a bottom fishing trip, to a super lux tuna or marlin trip. Just ask. We are life long residents and we can help you with just about anything.

This was a beautiful and perfect place to stay for our family celebrating several occasions. It was spacious, clean and a beautiful setting. A perfect setup for kids to play at the pool, beach and fish off the dock. The property manager and the owner were very responsive for any needs! We will definitely be returning.

It was a wonderful weekend, quiet and yet lots of things for all ages to keep as busy as you wanted. Beautiful house and pool, just what the "Dr. ordered" for a great long weekend. Did not even have to get in our cars once during stay.

Perfect getaway

I couldn’t have imagined a better week away with my family. This property is like none I’ve seen before. We enjoyed soaking it all in, swimming in the pool and exploring the property. Our kids especially enjoyed the swings, pool and seeing lizards, frogs, crabs, dolphins and 2 friendly cats. Stacey was a wonderful host!

Feels Like Your Own Private Island

Osprey Villa was a gorgeous rental house. We loved every minute of it. The host was easily accessible and answered our questions via text very timely. We loved the views, the amenities that were offered (including bikes, kayaks, pool table and infinity pool over looking the bay, private beach). It was about a 30 minute, very easy, drive to the public beach and more action and dining. We loved having our privacy. Highly, HIGHLY, recommend!

We loved, loved our stay at Osprey Villa! It is the perfect combination of peaceful relaxation with a lot to do. The house & grounds are absolutely beautiful, and we enjoyed bikes, kayaks, pool, boat, etc. Thank you for leaving the crab trap for us- loved crabbing & fishing! We canoed & kayaked with dolphin twice- amazing. The outdoor screened in cabana became the kids’ cafe where they made meals for us. Great hangout spot. We will return and definitely recommend it to others. Thank you!

A place all to yourself

This property is tucked away from the Hussle and bustle of day to day life. The pool from the infinity pool was amazing. The house was open concept and very clean. Within a half hour to beaches bars and restaurants. Some friendly neighborhood cats might visit! The owner lives next door but you wouldn't know it. Everyone keeps to themselves. He was very responsive when needed though. All in all we would rent again.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but with all the pictures we took on this vacation, it still is just not enough to convey the absolute beauty of this property. Driving in past ponds with fountains, ducks waddling by, flowers everywhere lining brick paths and towering trees with swings. Opening the door to the house itself felt like coming home..but walking out to the back patio was magic. The pools edge blends into the water of the bay and walking down to your own private beach was perfect. We watched dolphins daily, played Marco polo for hours, caught and released blue crabs, kayaked sunsets and sunrises. There were even kittens!! Everything was beyond perfect. None of us wanted to leave! The house was stocked with anything we could have wanted along with super comfy beds, linens, towels etc. We will absolutely be going back!! This trip gave both us and our two girls (6 & 11), core memories that will last us a life time!! Cant say enough. Thank you so much for having us!

Beautiful property with the perfect mix of plenty to do yet perfect for relaxing. :)

Could not ask for a better first impression! Upon arrival, we were greeted with personal touches of fresh florals in arrangements that were obviously collected from the super lush gardens on property. (Not to mention fresh farm eggs in the fridge!) Just lovely! We had so much fun just getting to know the home and enjoying the surroundings. We played pool, board games, card games, watched Netflix, read books, went kayaking, boating and fishing on the pontoon, played basketball, sat in hammocks, grilled out AND just sat and soaked in the quiet and amazing beauty of the waterfront property. We had everything we needed and it was truly the best of both worlds...everything to do and nothing to worry about. The beds were comfy, linens nice, property was clean and well cared for. Furnishings were stunning and fashionable. All appliances and cookware were right there. The outdoor cabana was charming and allowed for chilling and grilling. The pool offered beautiful views (our cool weather wasn't conducive to swimming but our grown children did get in a few times.) This is truly a place to reconnect and unplug from pressures. What a haven. Thank you to the Ryles family for hosting us at such a stunning home. We loved every little thing about your wonderful place.

Beautiful property with everything you see in the photos. I liked the cleanliness of the place and how quiet and private the location is. The owner is great and very helpful. Relaxing Vacation Away From Crowds

We had a great week at Osprey Villa. This was our first time renting a property and our host was very responsive to our requests and questions. The home was very much as described online, no real surprises, with a peaceful, serene setting. Enough space that our teenage granddaughters could get away from us as often as they wished. We saw dolphins every day except Saturday (maybe they take weekends off). One of my favorite aspects of the trip was that I was completely unaware that we were in the vicinity of a crowded tourist destination until we drove into Gulf Shores for dinner or a visit to that beach.

Our family enjoyed a much needed peaceful and relaxing week here. Beautiful view of the bay, where we saw dolphin early in the morning. We also saw several of them when we took the pontoon out for an adventure in the bay. Some of our family enjoyed using the kayaks and bikes. Our fur babies enjoyed the nice yard and swimming in the bay. It was nice to be away from the crowds and enjoy the quiet, yet you could be shopping or eating in about 20 minutes. Family had a great fishing trip the owner had suggested as well. We met the owner while there. Super nice and easy to work with.

The perfect getaway

We had the most wonderful time on Stacy’s gorgeous property, and no details were lacking. The home was spacious, decorated in a beautiful modern aesthetic, and so clean!! Both bathrooms were fit with rain showers, so each day felt like a relaxing spa day. We explored the inlet and the Gulf by pontoon a few times and enjoyed watching the dolphins jumping, while chilling in the beautiful infinity pool. The bonfire was simply amazing and made for yummy s’mores! It was a bit windy and rainy during our stay, so we couldn’t go kayaking, but we will definitely be back in the future. Having Stacy right next door meant that he was always willing to get things ready for us to have an amazing time. Extra special touches: asking us about the ages of our family members and then providing appropriately sized bicycles for each of us; offering to pre-stock the home with groceries; building our bonfire and getting the pontoon loaded and unloaded for us. The house was equipped with all the amenities a family could need-beautiful kitchen, laundry machines, sleeping arrangements for 10-12, wifi, and so much more! It’s also a perfect location for a girls’ weekend or guys’ weekend. Thank you, Stacy, for making sure we had such a relaxing and fun getaway. We highly recommend your property and will be back ourselves!!

Relaxation

I have never rented a vacation home before this trip. I dealt directly with the property owner and the entire process was stress free from check-in to check-out. He had a short and easy to read guidebook which was extremely helpful. The home was amazing in that it was peaceful and comfortable. My girlfriend and I really needed a trip like this. The only problem was we did not want to leave. Fantastic trip.

The property (landscape) was nice. Very clean. Private location. interior was not as luxurious as described or the price would demand. There are much better values in the area.
