About Paula Davy
I have always loved entertaining guests and it is my joy to share my homes in Sandpoint.
Paula Davy purchased this Cottage in 2005
Why Paula Davy chose Sandpoint
When I first visited Sandpoint in 2005 I was instantly captivated by its sophisticated simplicity. It is a step back in time to a simpler America but has all of the modern amenities travelers love….GREAT restaurants, hip wine bars, a thriving art community, live entertainment and lots of outdoor activities in the midst of beautiful scenery… a winning combination for a relaxing and exciting vacation experience.
What makes this Cottage unique
I have ALWAYS wanted to live in a vintage cottage and this sweet cottage makes my heart sing! I love that it is so conveniently located close to town, just one block to a large health food grocery store. When I am there I park the car and bike or walk EVERYWHERE! I love to sit on the front porch with a cool drink and some good friends or BBQ in the backyard with the whole family. It’s just the perfect place for a memorable relaxing vacation.

Awesome home in a great location! Lot's of attention to detail from the property owner!
This property is so charming and homey! Paula has done an amazing job with the decor. All the dishes, pots and pans. silverware, etc are so quaint and functional. I t doesn't look like she grabbed miscellaneous used items but really took some time and thought. I appreciate that! The yard was perfect for our dogs, the house was clean and had everything we needed. I look forward to staying again! Great area in both the winter and summer.
Comfortable, conveinent, charming.
My partner, his adult son, his girlfriend and two dogs had a delightful five day stay at Paula's cottage. Kitchen is well stocked, beds are comfy, and the kitchen table is large and welcoming. The house is within walking distance of restaurants, grocery stores ( loved Winter Ridge Natural foods!) and downtown shops. We saw a moose one day on a neighborhood walk.
It is a short hop to the Schweitzer ski resort for skiing and snowshoeing.
I messed up the TV remote and the Sandpoint property manager, Trish, came over in the evening to help figure it out. Paula was available and helpful as well.
Only one problem, the internet is slow. We used our personal hot spots on our phones for a better internet connection
Great experience. We highly recommend this property and the area.
A great well cared for place to enjoy the winter in Sandpoint. This VRBO is everything a great VRBO should be.
Great family location
We rented this home for a family Christmas trip to Sandpoint. It was perfect! Our daughter and her family lived just around the corner so it was easy for everybody to go back and forth. It easily slept 8 people and with an air mattresses it could have slept even more. We will definitely keep it in mind for our next trip to Sandpoint. Thank you so much for sharing your home.
Great home, well stocked, cozy, close to town. Poor internet access, otherwise would be 5 stars+!
We really loved this place. Family was able to spread out. Great kitchen. Loved the bikes.
Internet is 6MB download. If you want a quiet family retreat without much internet, this place is perfect. Any real work that requires internet needs to be done at Starbucks! We really loved this house, so if you want to get your teens off the net and have them talk to you for a change, this is a great place!!!
It was perfect for our extended family. Great location and very clean and comfortable.
