Wonderful property!

We had a great stay at this property. It was clean, updated and comfortable. The deck was fantastic and we saw lots of turtles and ducks. Fishing off the deck was enjoyable as well.

This property is very well maintained and absolutely gorgeous! Stunning views from almost every room. Our host was very communicative about the property, she gave us tips for places to eat and places to visit. We will definitely stay here again!

Great place

Place is wonderful. Host is wonderful. Great location and we highly recommend renting her golf cart. Sandestin is very walkable and great for bikes but the golf cart is loads of fun. Beautiful views from the deck. We absolutely loved everything about this place.

Absolute dream of a rental

Nancy was AMAZING at making sure we were 100% taken care of during our stay. Not to mention how breathtakingly beautiful the unit and the views are. Could not be happier with our stay! We will definitely be back!

Beautiful property, beautiful bay view, wonderful stay!

We have stayed in multiple Sandestin properties over the years, and this was by far our favorite! It was quiet, peaceful, and very relaxing with all the amenities for a perfect vacation. We received lots of helpful info from Nancy ahead of our trip, and she was very responsive to questions we had during our stay. Rent the golf cart - it makes it so much easier to get around the resort!

Helicopter owner with misleading “ Golf Cart” in listing title. GOLF CART NOT INCLUDED & EXTRA CONTRACTS BEWARE. Owner stuffed golf cart “costs extra” in fine print. Had 10-12 pages of stuff, expectations, requirements, orders, directions, rules, hand holding, etc. Probably should’ve thought to bring a “sweeper” for hidden cameras on this trip but was just us boys wanting to fish. NOT saying there were hidden cameras but there was a ring camera on the entrance door. Place was clean, pictures represented the views accurately. Golf cart picked up a nail in the tire…owner expeditiously got it fixed and refunded a days golf cart rate. (Owner also cut the golf cart day rate in half because of the misleading Golf Cart in listing title). But overall the Golf course marshal and the owner represent the Sandestin, master planned crotchety feel of being micromanaged during the entire stay. Stay here for the view of the bay, relatively convenient access to the beach, and clean and nice lodging. But the Sandestine retired lounge feel…as long as you want to feel like your mother n law is with you at all times…is a bit too much. We aren’t the party down type so we didn’t need the top down control disguised as a concierge’s assistant. Recommend owner to get more insurance if concerned about damages. Would’ve added 1/2 to the overall rating but I think you should read the fine print.

Note some renters do not want the golf cart and prefer a less nightly rate. In my VRBO narrative it is noted in Capital Letters that the golf cart can be rented for additional rate. This has never been an issue for past renters. I send each renter 5 pages of documents. 1)Directions to beach, marina, baytowne, shopping 2) codes to unit 3) how to charge the golf cart 4) where to drive cart to beach and park 5) info on spa , rent bikes, beaches and pools. All these are necessary for a renter or first-time visitor Sandestin. Rental properties normally would have a doorbell ring . Note my unit in past reviews has always been a 5 star review with happy renters

Only con is resort card not included, so no free access to gym, etc, which was no big deal for hubby and me, but would have been costly if we had our usual crew with us.

Thank you for your kind words about my townhouse. The views are awesome and the location is so peaceful. In regards to a “resort card “ – you can rent a unit thru sandestin resort where you pay higher nightly rates and a mandatory daily $35 resort fee, which includes the fitness center. My unit you have free access to 2 pools, the beach and 4 bikes. You also have access to the fitness center, with a purchase of a 4 visit pass for $ 35. Which is the same as sandestin resort if 4 people went to the fitness center the same day .

The property was better than we thought. The owner is very good at helping with questions. We have decided that we will return to this property. There are all kinds of family things to do in tue resort. As well as the surrounding area.

Beautiful house!

This is a beautiful house with an amazing view. My son loved fishing in the ponds and caught several nice bass. Kitchen is well stocked and gas grill on back deck. Great place for family with teens. Nancy was great sending information about the area and beach. Make sure to rent the golf cart! It made everything so much easier to get around the Sandestin community and beach. We would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely Beautiful

Everything about this property was beautiful! The recently renovated townhouse offers everything, including absolutely beautiful views of the golf course and the Choctawhatchee Bay. The dock was a wonderful place to take in the views and to watch area wildlife. The golf cart was amazing!! We enjoyed riding it around the resort listening to music and enjoying all of the amenities Sandestin has to offer! Our family highly recommends this 5 Star property! Thank you Nancy for your communication about our stay and for offering such a comfortable home away from home.

This house is a gem!

Nancy is so organized and thorough. Before even arriving she had every detail about the house and area for us. Check in was easy and Nancy was kind to make sure everything was as expected. The house has everything you could need to cook and enjoy the beach for the week. Our boys lost count of the fish caught this week. The house is so nice, the views are great and you can even see the Tuesday night fireworks. Loved our week here!!

Family vacation to Sandestin

This was our first time staying in Sandestin. The location of the property was great and the home was very clean and updated. The sunsets from the pier were beautiful. The kids really enjoyed fishing from the pier daily and looking at all the wildlife. The townhome was just a quick golf cart ride to the beach and Baytowne. Everything was easily accessible with the golf cart. Firework night in Baytowne is a must. Nancy went above and beyond as a host and was very informative. She provided us maps, restaurants and things to do during our stay. We would definitely book this property again!

Fantastic at Fairways

Beautiful villa with a million dollar view!! Had lots of fun watching the golfers hitting golf balls into the pond!! Fish were caught; fun was had!! The only disappointment was the golf cart! We paid extra for it’s use. It was old and difficult to drive! Thank you Nancy for providing us with a comfy “home away from home”!!

Thank you Beth and Tom for your kind review of the townhouse . Sorry about your disappointment w the golf cart . The 6 seater golf cart is much bigger and longer than the 4 seater golf cart . Think of it as how big a Chev Tahoe is compared to a small car KIa. . Since no golf cart has power steering it will be more awkward to turn in tight spots or parking . Families prefer the 6 seater for the convenience of transporting all 6 members of the family. Wish i had known about your 6 seater cart issues , i have a 4 seater golf cart you could have used . But this is Good to know for any future rentals of only 4 people

Gorgeous views

We enjoyed Nancy’s townhouse. It was very quiet, clean and comfortable. The view from the patio is breathtaking. We enjoyed watching the thunderstorms, golfers, ducks, turtles, fish and birds from the deck. We rented the golf cart and enjoyed cruising Sandestin in it. Overall, this was a great stay. I will say the pillows were a little flat for my liking and there were no USB plug ins for devices (only regular plugins for charger blocks). Nancy does recommend spraying near doorways and around eves before going in/out. Given that it rains briefly every afternoon and you are next to a small lake, there are a lot of fruit flys, mosquitoes etc. The spraying helps a lot.

Thank you for your wonderful 5 * review !!! A note for new renters - i do provide cans of Raid bug spray. Just spray every afternoon around the deck and you can enjoy the deck , bug free!! . I enjoy sitting on the deck in late afternoon watching the golfers and activities on the Bay or fishing off the pier .

VRBO in Sandestin resort

The host Nancy was easy to communicate with via email. She supplied all the info needed for easy check in and out. The property and pictures were just as described. Back deck was awesome and looked over the lake, golf course, and the bay. Views were beautiful. My 11 year old grandson spent most of his time fishing off of the pier over the lake and caught 3 Crappie. The golf cart was a blast and a must! Home was stocked with everything you could think of and needed: beach umbrellas, chairs, and coolers. We come to this Florida area for vacation 1-2 times a year. This was one of our most enjoyable vacations.

Absolutely perfect

If I could give the place 10 stars I would. This is our second trip to Destin and we learned a lot from our last trip. This place isn’t in the thick of the crowded part—it’s on a nice fairway near the bay, which was quiet and gorgeous. We spent a lot of time watching the sunsets, having drinks on the patio and fishing off the pier. My son, 8 years old, caught 3 fish! All of us fit perfectly. It was two adults, 3 kids (13, 12 and 8). My husband and I took the main floor bedroom and bathroom. The kids took the loft and upstairs bedroom and bathroom. Having them on their own floor was ideal for everyone! We rented the 6-seater golf cart which was great for shopping trips to the pools, Publix/grand avenue and to Baytown wharf. However, I highly recommend renting a car too. It enabled us to go to the state park beaches (Topsail and Grayton), which were gorgeous and WAY less crowded. If your speed is crowded beaches near restaurants, you’ll have that too, but our speed was cooler lunches and less crowds. Our host was fantastic! Gave us an early check in, was responsive to questions and gave us amazing recommendations for the parks. Overall, the trip was incredible and you will not be disappointed with this rental!

A wonderful condo with exceptional hostess

Our trip started and ended great. We had excellent communication with Nancy. I believe she went beyond what anyone would do to ensure our trip was successful. She answered several calls from my Wife during our trip and made sure we were at ease. Saturday to Saturday was fun-filled and packed with activities. We had pool days at different pools. We had beach days at the owners' beach. We saw the sunrise, set almost daily, and even caught lightning storms. We visited lip-smackers, hammerheads, The Marina Bar & Grill, La Cameria, Parlor Doughnuts, and golfed on The Linx. One time we left the resort to take the kiddos putt-putting at Rainforest. In the mornings we would stroll down to the Sunset Cafe and have brunch. Whenever we were back at the condo we sat up the back porch, turn on the fan and watched the golfers T off of the 7th hole. The best part is Nancy has a set of binoculars that really allows you to see the swings and distances like your standing next to them. Our 5 YO daughter thought they were the best and called all the golfers GRAMPS all week. It was great! Everything in the resort is easy to get to with the 6-person golf cart. There is so much wildlife here too! We had a great time and will be back!

This is a WONDERFUL property!!! Love the views of the bay, golf course, and proximity to the beach! Beautiful townhouse with nice updates. Golf cart is a must! Baytowne village is a great place for the kids to hang out in the evenings. Owner is very attentive, quick to respond, and goes above and beyond. Highly recommend!!!
