The interior of the property was clean, however we did find swimming shorts in one of the drawers and shower gels in 2 of the showers from the previous occupants. We were told the coffee machine was Nespresso which was great so we took our pods, only to find out it was Krups.The site states 3 bathrooms with toilets. Only 1 bathroom has a toilet and then there is a separate toilet downstairs. We booked the apartment as we wanted 3 separate bathrooms with toilets. Not acceptable.Outside was not clean and all the chairs, sofas, awnings were tired and dirty. The balcony had not been swept, there were weeds galore in the neglected raised flower beds, cigarette butts by the old used candle holders, a dumping corner of gardening equipment and the cushions on the sofas need replacing or at least matched. The outdoor dining table needs sanding. The location is poor-you have to drive everywhere as it is up a decent incline/hill. This is not mentioned on any site I can see. It is a good 10 min drive from the old town, 5-7 minutes from the lake side and about the same to the nearest restaurant. Not far but not walkable, so driving is essential.We were kept awake one night by a neighbour having the football on very loud until 3.30am. Then the next day it started at 5.30am. Our concierge was very understanding but I wouldn't be 100% sure if it was coming from upstairs or downstairs. Nothing to do with the actual apartment I guess, but it added up.The views and Annecy are stunning.
