Enjoy a private setting with walkable access to to the beach. Lounge in the hammock on the expansive deck or fire up the private gas grill for a barbecue with an unforgettable view. The full-size kitchen comes well-equipped to handle family meals, with stainless steel appliances and utensils. The garage has been converted into a gym/fitness room, including a sauna for ultimate relaxation and luxury after a day exploring the area. Cap off the evening cozied up by the living room fireplace to stream your favorite movies and shows on the flatscreen smart TV.

Great food, drinks, and attractions abound within easy reach of the home. Local standouts include Gyppos Brew House, Mi Mochima, Delgada Pizza, and the Fish Tank. Black Sands Beach and the Lost Coast trail offer world-class hiking and mountain biking. Stop by Briceland Winery for a glass of local wine before heading back home.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). Did a personal meditation retreat here. The house is very nice. It has 2 nice bedrooms: master upstairs with jet tub and bedroom with balcony with great view downstairs. The kitchen is great. The view is wonderful. Lots of birds and trees and there’s a nature trail from near the house all the way to the beach cliffs. It is in a neighborhood but relatively quiet. Hope to come back.

Lovely home - very nice view

This house is perfect for a little time out. It's very quiet and the view from the veranda is stunning. We loved it here! The kitchen provides all the things you need, toilets and showers are clean (and you get shampoo, shower gel and conditioner), it smells good, the beds are comfortable... For us it was perfect! The afternoon sun totally lights up the house, wonderful. King bed was great, kitchen well stocked but could use a cheese slicer. Vacasa very responsive to the front door code being wrong. We would recommend this house.

Shelter Cove

Lovely, clean house in the woods overlooking the ocean. No hot tub, no room aside from main great room and bedrooms. It was fine for us. Two flights of stairs to get to living space from car. Homey and nice.

We enjoyed this nice place. The house had everything we needed. The views were amazing with the ocean and trees. Shelter Cove is a quiet little place with a nice beach. The brew pub is good, and fun to watch planes land. We had cool temperatures while there. The house took some time to warm up, but it was pleasant when it did. I would stay there again.

Wonderful home with great amenities

We loved having a full workable kitchen with spices and all the utensils we needed to cook great meals. So often when I rent homes I find kitchens that are a little harder to do home-cooked meals at, this was not the case! After we figured out how to get the dry sauna working, that was also an amazing treat to come back to after walks on the beach. I would highly recommend renting this home.

Nice House, remote location

The house is well equipped, clean and had comfortable bedrooms for 3 adults. The location of this house is quite remote. The road into shelter cove is windy and steep and takes just under an hour. The redwoods are about 1.5 hours away. The beaches in shelter cove aren't sandy beaches. We only found one we could walk along. None were safe enough to wade into. The waves were beautiful but huge and unsafe in March. The area is beautiful. The neighborhood is quiet, the locals were very nice. The general store is small and well stocked. One of the fireplaces didn't work, we had trouble getting the Sauna going. The property mangers were kind and responsive. The main living room was nice with beautiful views. The kitchen was well equipped and functioned well. Seating in the living room was not very comfortable for hanging out. Great selection of books, DVDs, puzzles, and Netflix was available.
