Pretty and secluded

We had a wonderful stay in this pretty gite. Perfect for two people with a private outdoor space and a gorgeous view. It had everything we needed and was in a perfect location to visit the beautiful Dordogne region.

Les Rosiers

Streamlined check in with excellent instructions on how to find the property and the access arrangements- stress free- Heidi and Paul have been superb hosts attending to and answering any question promptly. Very quiet location with a lovely view over the field. Yet within easy access to all the areas we wished to visit. Very restful.

A lovely little gite with stunning views

We had a lovely stay in this comfortable little gite. Perfectly situated for peace and quiet. But close to the stunning Bastide towns of Montpazier and Beaumont. Lovely hosts and we highly recommend.

So relaxing

Heidi and Paul were amazing hosts, ensured your time with them was perfect but also considerate of your privacy. Location was perfect, sat on the patio watching the deer, amazing sunsets and night skies. Property provided exactly what we required with a very comfortable bed. Plenty of restaurants and very beautiful villages to visit. We will certainly be returning, thank you for a wonderful holiday.

A place of tranquility

A lovely little gîte in a delightful location -- nothing but the birdsong to listen to. Heidi and Paul are very pleasant and helpful hosts. Thoroughly recommended.

The property is in a gorgeous location. Its at the end or a lane. The view from the patio is lovely. The Gite is fairly well equipped , but a microwave would definitely be an asset. After a few days our bins were getting full, but ther were no spare ones in our accommodation. There was no clock on the wall, and in the bathroom no air freshener of any description. However, the shower was excellent. Hiede was very pleasant, and was always at hand if we needed any advice. The TV was adequate for the size of the room and was a smart TV. However, if you wanted to watch anything in English, that was only possible because they had Prime Video.

Trés bonne location au calme

Merveilleuse petite location de vacances pour passer des vacances au calme en Dordogne. Les propriaitaires sont disponibles et discrets. Pas besoin d'aller au sydicat d'initiave pour savoir quoi découvrir, toutes les informations sont disponibles au gîte. Et le super bonus, le matin comme le soir, nous avions la visite des biches et même d'un renard. Un pur moment de détente. A louer sans aucune hésitation.

Charming country cottage

Beautiful location. Very quiet and peaceful. Within driving distance of some typical French villages and small towns. The garden and private patio were gorgeous.Although on paper everything was provided the furniture and accessories have had plenty of use and were a little tired. I would recommend to future guests to remember to pack a couple of laundry tablets rather than having to buy a full pack at supermarket as although a washing machine is provided no detergent if you are intending any laundry.

Delightful gite

My husband and I so enjoyed our stay in Heidi and Paul’s delightful gite. The situation of the gite is stunning. Everything you need inside is provided with outside furniture to enjoy the views on a pleasant patio. Communication with Heidi was easy and she always responded immediately to any query. We cannot recommend the gite highly enough.

Kleines Paradies

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne, erholsame Urlaubswoche in "Les Rosiers". Die zauberhafte kleine Gîte, überaus hübsch und gemütlich eingerichtet, mit gut ausgestatteter Küche, konfortablem Duschbad, sehr bequemen Betten und natürlich das Highlight - die, überbordend mit wildem Wein, Lavendel und, namensgebend, duftenden Rosen bepflanzte Terasse, von der man nachts einen unglaublichen Sternenhimmel sieht, die wohltuende Ruhe und natürlich nicht zuletzt die liebenswerte Gastgeberin Heidi Glause, die uns überaus sympatisch empfangen und immer wieder mit guten Tipps versorgt hat - das alles und natürlich das traumhafte Perigord per se macht dieses Fleckchen Erde zu einem veritablen Urlaubsparadies. Sehr gerne wieder !

Agréable séjour en Dordogne .....dans un gîte en pleine campagne chez des Hotes chaleureux....merci Heïdi pour ce depaysement dans un cadre trés accueillant parmi la lavande et myriade de rosiers d'oû le nom de votre superbe demeure "les rosiers".....découverte du perogord à travers de belles randonnées pédestres ....de nombreux chateaux ...la Dordogne pour se rafraîchir ....et la gastonomie au rendez-vous dans vos assiettes.....

Oase van rust tussen de rozen en lavendel

Hier kom je voor rust! Een prachtige locatie met vrij uitzicht er omheen. Prachtige Gite naast een authentiek huis waar de eigenaar woont. Gastvrouw Heidi is fantastisch. Gastvrij en ze kan je tips geven over de omgeving, wat te zien wat je kan doen in de omgeving.

Beau logement, bonne communication mais ménage trop léger et manque de confort.

Dommage que le logement n'ai pas été à la hauteur surtout en terme de confort de literie & ménage trop léger. Bonne communication avec la propriétaire et sa femme de ménage qui nous ont aidés lors de notre séjour.

Les rosiers gite

We stayed at the gite sept/oct 2022 for 9 days a very beautiful tranquil place to stay and everything you needed was provided in the gite. Perfect for couples and Heidi was very lovely and helpful. The area is stunningly beautiful we definitely would stay again.

The best peace and quiet time I think I have ever had.

The property is between Monpazier and Pays de Belves. In both towns there are superb restaurants. If however you want to do your own food then there is an Intermarche only 10 minutes drive away. The property is very comfortable with a beautiful terrace where you can relax and enjoy the sun or eat any of your meals in complete comfort. There are 2 chairs and a table with superb quality parasol to protect you from the sun. There also 2 good quality sun beds with full length cushions. If you want a quality peace and quiet time? This is the spot.

When we decided to purchase the derelict building with barn and breadoven we had the intention to transform it into a nice country house by some years. This was thirteen years ago and we have created a fine 'maison de campagne du Périgord' with tower, but still we have lots of ideas how to make the property even more beautiful and attractive. The barn has been transformed into a gite and a room for a Sauna as well as a potting-room and we have nos six different terraces around the property. it is a real hobby and we wish to let others enjoy the spell of the place as well. We finished the holiday apartment last summer which offers our guest their own little world with a view south to the valley and the forest .

We had visited the Dordogne region often before and had fallen in love with this special composition of beautiful historic villages, the medieval bastides with arcades and market squares as well as the Bergerac vineyards with the most delicious specialities and the mighty stream of the Dordogne which invites to water sports of all kinds.

Our property is situated at the end of a rural road and has an old wenn with a cast iron crown. The pretty rosebush in front of the bread oven had attracted our attention right away. Along with hundreds of other roseplants it has named our property LES ROSIERS.
