Relaxing get away rental.

My wife and I wanted to escape the daily grind and this was a perfect getaway. There was a short walk to the shore where I could enjoy fishing. Owners were very helpful. We would definitely stay in Carefree Cottage again.

Darling home and great getaway

Darling home. Super clean with a great view. Highly recommend! Fyi, if you have little people, know that the swimming area is rocky. We went to a local park and it was perfect!

Lakeside House

quiet and peaceful get away

We loved our little get away. we wanted to go somewhere and relax and do absolutely nothing. It was just what we wanted. We sat on the lovely screened in porch and watched the lake. We definitely want to go back.

We retired (David was a planning manager; Cathy was a Nurse Practitioner) to a small farm that keeps us very busy, but the natural beauty of the lake draws us back again and again.

Why they chose this property

Boat launch just a few steps away. Gorgeous views year round; unbelievable sunrises and sunsets. Beautiful birds - did I mention eagles! Everything you need in this cozy cottage. Just minutes from shopping and sightseeing (Warsaw is 15 minutes away). Activities for everyone - biking, hiking, boating, fishing. We've compiled a book of activities in the region but if you prefer, this is the perfect spot for quiet and calm relaxation.

What makes this property unique

I can't say enough about the view. The Cottage is on a bluff that is directly opposite a conservation area, so the view is unmarred by any development.
