Relax & unwind. Located in the heart of downtown, this peaceful unit is within steps from everything Ouray has to offer – hiking, shopping, restaurants, breweries, & a short walk to the world-famous hot springs. This unit offers all living spaces and bedrooms in one level with private and quiet outdoor space.

The home is surrounded by mature trees that provide a secluded & peaceful atmosphere yet close to everything. Huge lot with a flat yard & ample space to relax or play in. Enjoy the large, covered patio and front porch when you rent the Valley Unit. This serene private yard also has a picnic table & a grill.

The home has three units. Shared Parking area on the west side (back side) of the property, common between units.

Please NO RVs or trailer in the parking lot. Thank you for your understanding!

Spacious house in a great location.

Great place, great location.

We stayed in this beautiful home two years in a row. The first year we had six of us. The home is spacious enough that we never felt crowded. This past year we only had three of us and could have stayed somewhere smaller, but we liked the house so much that we rented it again. The home is within walking distance of many restaurants and stores. You can easily hop onto the perimeter trail at a few different points. The outdoor area is great for relaxing and having a beer after a long hike. Overall this was a great, spacious, clean home that we cannot recommend enough. We will definitely be staying here again on our next visit to Ouray.

Ouray house

Overall ok . A couple things were disappointing, the listing stated hot tub, there was no hot tub, since that was a reason for picking this property, it pissed the group off. Another thing the listing stated was 2 king size beds, not true. The second ‘King’ was two twins pushed together, so it was short. Stupid

What a great property

We chose this property for a small, semi Family reunion and it did not disappoint. First of all, the property is on a large lot, A couple blocks downhill from Main Street and near the river. The three bedrooms and three baths work very well. The fact that there are two bedrooms with king beds was a deciding factor in renting. The kitchen is pretty much a smaller version of a commercial kitchen and Liza has furnished this house with essentially everything you could ever imagine needing. The views are great, very quiet neighborhood, the covered patio is absolutely wonderful; very easy to have breakfast and dinner just outside the kitchen. Shared laundry facilities are downstairs and commercial versions. This was apparently previously a bed-and-breakfast and the owner indicates a remodel is in the offing after tourist season. I would hope that they would try to maintain the craftsman elements in doing so and we would definitely rent again. The only thing I can possibly suggest are instructions for the smart TV and possibly adding cable or dish for regular channels. We highly recommend this place and it is so easy dealing with Liza.

Ouray is our family's favorite place on earth. There is lots to do here - hiking, jeeping, ice climbing, via ferrata, skiing in Telluride, and soaking in the world-famous hot springs. We feel so blessed to share our knowledge of the area not only with our two boys but also with you, our guests!

Whether you are looking for the best restaurant in town or a great day hike or just want to relax in one of the hot springs, we are happy to share our favorite spots with you. We deeply care about our guests' experience so please let us know if we missed anything, we will do our best to address it right away.

We live on the other side of the mountains, in Longmont with two wild boys, a puppy, 10 chickens, and bees. Although we try to come to Ouray as often as possible, when we are not there ourselves, our mom Cindy who lives in town handles and supervises cleaning and any last-minute assistance you may need. Thank you for choosing to stay at the Ouray Haus, our mountain paradise. Enjoy and have the best trip!
