The personal touch is at this beautiful home sent the trip over the top. The Christmas decorations were unbelievable, my family really enjoyed our stay here.
Property was very nice. Everything was clean. They went out of their way to make sure we had a good stay beds were comfortable so were the couches screened in porch was super nice to sit in and have breakfast overlooking the lake.
Really enjoyed our stay at this clean and comfortable location with the lake views and many deer in the neighborhood. Kevin was a perfect host . We would recommend it to anyone one needing a getaway in the Gallatin area.
The house was great, especially the screened in porch. Big enough for several people. Peddle boat was fun. Great neighborhood! Fit our needs beautifully
Kevin is top notch!! We loved our stay!! Lots of time on screened porch watching deer & birds & a fox!! Great fishing right in the cove by the house didn’t have to go far with our boat! Thank you!!
We had a wonderful time, it was so peaceful and relaxing! The home was very clean and full of all the household things we needed! Kevin is very kind, helpful and accommodating!! I recommend this to anyone who is looking to get away, but still have that at home feeling!! Thank you, Kevin!!
The owners and neighbors are friendly and helpful. A beautiful and peaceful setting with many different wildlife to admire as they roam the yard. We loved the screened in porch. Owners provided all the essential items which is a nice touch! Kevin was quick to respond to any questions. Great place and location.
The whole experience was great the house was beautifully decorated, smelled wonderful, properly and neighborhood were beautiful. The deer were even friendly enough to come say hello lol. Couldn’t ask for a more peaceful and pleasant time. We will definitely be back!
We had a fabulous stay - the screened in porch was the best! Our pups enjoyed hanging out by the lake and we loved seeing an abundance of deer on our strolls. The fire pit was nice for an evening campfire.
We recommend day trips to Franklin, Mount Juliet, Nashville, Gallatin and if you visit Carthage be sure to check out Ebel’s Tavern and Rockabilly Coffee.
The host, Kevin, was very responsive if we had any questions or needed anything during our stay.
This lovely little house on the lake was the perfect introduction to Tennessee. Peace opened each day, sitting on the screened in porch listening to the birds while watching the sun dance on the water. Evenings ended watching the deer on their nightly journey, listening to the frogs or sitting around the firepit. It was just what we needed.
This was our second time staying here, as we returned from such an enjoyable visit a few years ago. A couple things we had to discuss with Kevin and he went above-&-beyond, even after the trip ensuring complete follow through. He is to be commended, a stand-up man who keeps his word. I don’t know which is more impressive these days, a great place or such a phenomenal host!
House was just as expected. On a quiet street. Neighbors nearby but unobtrusive and friendly. At a cove so the boat traffic was at a distance. Screened in porch was a great place to hang out. No issues being outdoors tho-no nuisance bugs. Many deer visited multiple times each day. Close to grocery. Wood provided for fire pit was a welcome surprise.
The home was clean and inviting. Had an enjoyable time visiting with grandchildren. Fished, tried paddle-boarding, peddle boat, and enjoyed watching the wildlife including the herd of deer that roamed throughout the neighborhood. One thing not mentioned in the description is the home is 2 levels and designed in such a way that 2 couples/families can stay with semi-privacy; the main level has a full kitchen, living space, screened deck, bedroom & bath. The lower level is a walk-out basement with a combined kitchenette/living space, bedroom & bath. Only issue we had was the peddle boat had a large crack along the top on 1 side.
The property is nice - very peaceful and quiet and not too far from downtown Nashville (about 35 minutes). The inside of the house is clean, it is older for sure, but what is there is clean. The upstairs bathroom looks almost brand new which is nice. The screened in porch is very nice in the morning and evening to sit out on.
The outside of the house needs a good power washing and the inside of the front porch can use some attention. We would stay here again given the property setting - just know the house is 60+ years old and showing in some areas. But cleanliness goes a long way and they have done a nice job keeping the inside clean.
