About the property

House, 4 Bedrooms + Bunk Area, 3 Baths, (Sleeps 10)

Located ten minutes from the Bozeman airport, this custom log home completed in June of 2009, is nestled at the base of the Bridger Mountains in the heart of farm country. Surrounded by grain fields and mountain views, this is a private, accessible home. It features nice furniture and comfortable 'high-end' mattresses. Two large decks allow you to take even better advantage of the surrounding beauty. The home is full of natural light due to the many large windows located high in the gable ends! It features a beautifully manicured lawn with nice shade trees.

Bridger Bowl Ski Area and Big Sky Ski Resort are both minutes away, and cross country skiing is right out the front door. 'River Runs Through It' world class fishing is close by, as the movie was filmed near to us, in the Springhill Community.

Also on the property, is Roys Barn, a popular outdoor summer wedding venue. This 100 year old barn is also available for rent, and is perfect for weddings, reunions etc. for groups of two hundred or less, equipped with tables and chairs. More information is available upon request.

Amazing home!

  • 5 of 5

We just had the pleasure of spending 4 days and 5 nights in this beautiful home, and would have stayed longer if we had the time. It easily and comfortably accommodated two families with 5 active boys and the pool table and foosball tables were a big hit! It is close to both Bozeman and Belgrade, with easy access to fishing, skiing, and walking or hiking trails. Most of all, we really appreciated Dan and Nancy's hospitality, who made us feel so welcome and were available with any questions we had both day and night. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful home in a perfect setting

  • 5 of 5

We loved staying in this incredible rental home! We came from MN and met family from OR for a great time of reunion and relaxing. This house was truly a work of art, and was very comfortable and luxurious. We loved enjoying the view from both decks. The owners are kind and responsive. I would highly recommend this to anyone staying near Bozeman, we would love to go back!

We just returned from our daughter's graduation from MSU (go Bobcats!) last weekend. This was our first time using a service to help us find a place. And Roy's Lodge was the perfect place to stay. Our family and friends came from the Northwest and we definitely would stay here again. The attention to detail and making you feel right at home was amazing. We all had room to spread out when we needed a little quiet time. The pool table and foosball table were a great addition. We even played Aladdin and Pocahontas from the video selections because both our daughters had been raised on them. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! We had an issue with the coffee maker and the owners were prompt with the fix. Tootsie the cow was quite entertaining as well. Thank you so much to the owners for making the weekend truly memorable.

Cannot WAIT to return!!

  • 5 of 5

We just returned home from our week-long stay in this BEAUTIFUL home! In fact, we were so sad to leave we ended up staying an extra night. This property, both inside and out, is gorgeous! We spent the first hour of our arrival just oohing and aching as we explored the house and property. The landscaping is beautiful with fantastic views of the mountains and surrounding farmlands and pastures. Welcoming flower pots and a picnic table out front greeted us each day. Mornings were spent on long walks right out the front door with afternoons on the trails in the lush canyons just minutes away. Relaxing nights on the front and back porch decks were spent star-gazing while listening to the elk calling and horses nickering. The herd of horses that visited in the pasture across the road was "icing on the cake"!! The attention to detail of this home (from the indoor/outdoor lighting to the abundance of electrical outlets to the VERY comfortable beds and furniture, to the kitchen accessories, to the layout of the house, to the game room downstairs, to the 3rd floor loft, etc…) shines through. Comfort, style, class, and every modern convenience was in mind when this home was designed. Everything in this home is meticulously kept (cleanliness is a priority for me) and Dan and Nancy are wonderful, gracious and generous hosts. All of our needs were met and we can't wait to return next summer for an even longer stay! I just cannot give enough praise to this lovely home and surrounding property! Thank you Dan and Nancy for sharing this slice of heaven and creating wonderful memories for us :)

Everything about Roys Lodge is perfect...

  • 5 of 5

My family has just returned home from beautiful Bozeman Montana and our stay at Roys Lodge! It is the second time we've chosen to stay at Roys Lodge and it was even harder to leave this time around! For so many reasons we have all fallen in love with this place! I hope and pray we have an opportunity to return again and again through the years.

The lodge is beautiful and modern and meticulously kept. From the simple and open living areas to the lovely bedrooms, the decor is warm and nicely "westernish." The beds are amazingly comfy with linens and bedding that are fresh and feel like home in such a nice way.

Staying together "under one roof" at Roys Lodge has been such a blessing to our family. From the time we wake up in the morning to the time we finally call it a night, we no longer have to wrangle with the inconveniences of working out of separate motel rooms and wrangling restaurants. We keep the refrigerator full and the kitchen lacks for nothing if you decide to cook a family favorite meal.

Dan and Nancy are just genuinely nice people and they are truly great hosts. What a treasure they have in this beautiful lodge of theirs nestled in the foothills of the Bridger Mountains. We are deeply grateful that they have chosen to share it!

We were in MT looking at colleges with two teenagers. This was the perfect home with just incredible views. The home itself is stunning and everyone kept thanking me for finding such a great place. The hardest part of the trip was leaving.
