Family friendly lakehouse on beautiful Tim’s Ford Lake. We are just down the street from the TVA boat ramp so feel free to bring your lake ride and tie it up at our dock. We have kayaks and paddle boards that your are welcome to use.

Huge windows with a great, elevated view of water and outside. Plenty of seating throughout the house. Really appreciated the Host checking in with me and answering questions before arrival. You can also search the comments and find out info that your guests need to know.

Fantastic lake house for a large group. Minutes from the boat ramp which made it wasy to drive the boat to the dock in a short time. House was clean and the hosts were extremely friendly and wiling to assist if any problems arose (none did) 10/10 would stay again
Wildlife was abundant and a great weekend to unplug and spend time with friends

Wonderful lake home for three generations vacation. Easy access with the front door code. The view from the main floor is breath taking! Kitchen is well stocked and allows with interaction with everyone in the dining area, tv area and bonus daybed section. Downstairs is great for family fun--ping pong tv access to the lower deck and another great view of the lake. From master suite to bunk area this home is welcoming and offers surprises around every corner. Unique design elements (octopus mural and colorful art) add to the fun. The dock and lake are a vacation destination for fishing kayaking swimming or paddle boarding. Double screened porches upstairs allow for bird watching or listening along with a quiet place to meditate or relax with yoga.

Perfect size for the whole family and we had no trouble tying two boats to the dock. The kids loved jumping off the dock and swimming. We loved the open floor plan upstairs and the kids were all able to sleep downstairs. The bunkbed room was perfect for all 4 boys. We took our side by side so that we could drive down to the dock which made transporting to the boats a little easier but the walk back and forth wasn’t terrible.
The view from upstairs in the kitchen was amazing!

Truly our favorite place to stay on Tim's Ford! This is the third time that we have rented this house and each time we are thoroughly impressed with the hosts, the house and the whole experience. Thank you so much for the best weekend--can't wait for our next stay!

Great house with lots of space on Tim’s Ford Lake

We had a group of 8 friends! House and view are beautiful! Lots of extras provided. Little steep incline for us older folks but was able to use a gator to haul down to the boat. TV was a little troublesome but just wanted to watch opening week of NCAA football so we figured it out. We would stay again

Relaxing lakeside

Very stylish, inviting and clean home. Lots of extras that are not always available. We loved the outdoor spaces. My family thought this was the best place we had ever had for a family trip. A maintenance problem came up and was handled extremely quickly after getting in touch with owner.

absolute perfection part II

This was our second stay at this property and we already can't wait for the next one. I'll keep it simple--it is perfect and the absolute very best house in which to stay at Tim's Ford. Please see my previous review for additional details. The owners are so kind, thoughtful and funny; I would love to meet them in person. I will also add that we ate at the Hard Dock Cafe at Tim's Ford Marina this time; so fun and the food was great!

Fun Lake Getaway

We had a fantastic stay. My party consisted of 7 adults and 4 children (ages 4-10). The accommodations were perfect. The beds were very comfortable. The bunk beds were full size with curtains which allowed the kids their own space and privacy. We spent hours on the screened porch enjoying the tranquility. Having the dock on site was ideal. The walk up and down may be difficult for some but overall not too bad. We jumped in from the dock and used the kayaks and paddle boards. We also enjoyed the location. Close to all the marinas and 20 minutes from groceries. We used the house as base and drove to Chattanooga and Nashville. Everything was ideal and would definitely stay again.

Just what we needed

Our blended family of 14 had the pleasure of staying here for 5 days and had a wonderful time. The house was just the right size and with 2 separate screened porches upstairs as well as the outdoor porch downstairs, we never felt like we were on top of each other. There are two kayaks and paddle boards the owners have provided for use as well as their dock which is located on a very quiet cove. The 4 star rating on accuracy is only due to the fact that we assumed from the picture, though it’s not written, that our boat would be under cover so we did not bring the boat cover. Again, certainly no deal breaker and I only mention it so that you’ll know to bring yours. I highly recommend this beautiful home for your Tim’s Ford stay and give it an overall 5 star rating. Thank you for making our family time together a wonderful experience

wonderful, and cozy, alternative to antiseptic hotels

family gathered for Thanksgiving and 80th birthday celebrations; clean, comfortable, cozy home served as wonderful and functional gathering and living space for 18 family members from local and disparate locations. owner is attentive and conscientious; any and all issues (all minor) were promptly addressed - nothing severe as to negatively impact our collective experience. summary - we would return to this property for another gathering without reservation; thank you Jim for providing such a comfortable and familiar environment and experience.

Great lake getaway

My family spent a weekend at this property to celebrate my father’s 80th birthday. We had ages from 11-80. We had a great time. The house was bright and cheerful and clean. The kitchen was very well stocked and had plenty of the little things like trash bags, dishwasher tabs, paper towels etc. The upstairs tv area was very comfortable and we enjoyed several meals on the screened porch. The kids loved the bunk room and the pong pong table. We all enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards. We had a great weekend and made great memories as a family. The owner was wonderful to work with, very accommodating. Definitely recommend!

Highly recommend this rental

We had the best time at this lake house! We were a group of 8 adults and the 5 bedrooms were perfect for us. There was even room to spread out to avoid snoring spouses ;). Lake access was easy, we brought our boat (the ramp is only like a mile away). We enjoyed the paddle boards too! I highly recommend this rental!! Beautiful house, well stocked and very clean. It would be great for families with kids also. We will definitely be visiting again!

Beautiful home

This house is gorgeous! The pictures do not do it justice. Plenty of room for two families. Kids loved the bunk room. Location on the lake is perfect. Kitchen is well stocked.

absolute perfection

This house is perfect. That's all you need to know. From the layout, to the decor, to the views, this house has everything for every type of group. It is beautifully decorated; you feel like you are visiting a fancy, cool friend who happens to live at the lake. We loved dining al fresco out on the covered porch, after cooking a feast in the perfectly appointed kitchen and using the gas grill. The kitchen has everything that you will need. The wifi is fast and I was able to zoom with work with no interruptions. It is a quick drive to Holiday Landing and Tim's Ford marinas; we rented a boat for the day and had the luxury of pulling right up to the house's own dock to load and unload our gear. The house has kayaks for guests to use as well. We walked to the neighborhood boat launch in the evenings with our dogs; there is a little park and vista there as well. Our group just loved it so much; I would live in this house full time! Thank you so much for the very best weekend.

Beautiful house on the lake

We absolutely loved this house! So spacious for our group of 9. Loved the view & the decor was so adorable & cozy. Kids loved the bunk room (4 full size beds btw) & ping pong table. 2 screened in porches & bottom porch to enjoy the view. Also loved the dock & access to water toys & life vests. We would definitely stay here again! There is no bath tub for small children just fyi. Owner was easily reachable & easy to communicate with. Only about 15 min to downtown Winchester & 20 min or less to 2 marinas (Tim’s ford & holiday landing). 5 stars!
