Roomy and Comfortable

This house was the perfect place for our bachelor party weekend! The arcade/game room upstairs was a blast to hang out in with drinks in hand. The kitchen/living room was roomy and relaxing to just chill and talk in between our scheduled events for the weekend. There were so many beds and plenty of room to blow up air mattress to accommodate our party. The house was just close enough to take Uber/Lyft rides into the city, but far enough away. The house was just off the highway, which gave us easy access to other locations. Liara was a phenomenal host who was quick to respond to our questions. We did have some issues with the door code at the beginning, but she was quick to help out! This house gave us more than we could ask for, and we could not recommend it enough!

Perfect getaway from the city

Overall our stay was amazing. The home was well prepared and staged elegantly. It wasn't a big home but the open concept allowed everyone to interact even while spaced out. The only markdown I have is cleanliness and the master bathroom shower curtain had small mold clusters maybe two or three inches and the trash was full so disposing of our waste resulted in a pile of bags next to the trashcan. Please don't let the previous comments dissuade you from booking the overall experience of my entire family was wonderful and their experience in the house was worthy of the overall 5 stars. Viara the host was professional, prompt and very communicative. From the day of our arrival until we exited she was attentive and proactive to our needs and informing us on things to make our stay as pleasant as possible.

Just book it, honey!

The host and the home surpassed our expectations. It was my parents and I, and we found the home to be very comfortable in size. Viara proved to be not only engaging but also an absolute delight to work with. My dad particularly enjoyed the assortment of snacks and coffee she graciously provided. The beds were so comfy! I couldn't resist the nostalgic bliss of playing Pac-Man, my childhood favorite, in the game room. Furthermore, I cherished the serene ambiance of the neighborhood while relaxing on the charming porch. As we were in town for a wedding, Viara thoughtfully left a lovely card with heartfelt words for the bride and groom. Opting to stay in Mechanicsville turned out to be a wise choice as it offered tranquility that surpassed what Richmond could provide. Moreover, the city offered convenient access to shopping and dining options. Even when we needed to venture into Richmond, the drive was easy to manage, and the house is only 15 minutes from the airport. If you're in search of a spotless and tranquil home, I wholeheartedly encourage you to stop reading and promptly book with Viara. Ignore the negative review about deceptive photos. You can't jump inside any photo and see the actual size in real-time anyway. People are funny! However, the square footage of the home is listed on Vrbo. Some reviewers are annoying; don't let it rob you of a peaceful Vrbo experience with a stellar host! Rest assured, you won't be disappointed!

Wedding Weekend

My family and I stayed here during our daughter’s wedding at a local venue. Home is immaculate and offers several amenities. Multiple board games and old school arcade games provided entertainment for all ages. Perfect place for our perfect day. Would definitely recommend.

Ideal House

This house was perfect for our mini family reunion! We met some family we hadn't seen in a while in Richmond and this house met all of our needs! The upstairs game room was such a hit with the kids (and the adults), and there was plenty of room for 6 adults and 4 kids. It is about a 20 minute drive to Richmond but it worked well for us.

A Great Stay

We had a wonderful stay. The house if full of games and we had our adult children around the table playing Clue, cards, checkers, you name it. It is rare anymore that we get all of our children together and this was a wonderful and comfortable place to do so. We will be back.

We loved staying here!

Very comfortable and plenty of space to accommodate for privacy. The house was the perfect distance for us to travel to the softball facilities we were playing at. Beautiful home. Hope to stay again if needed!

The property was superb. Very neat, clean and bright. Working with Viara was a joy. The game/exercise room was great. Our only drawback...blackout curtains in the bedrooms would have been nice but, that's more of a personal issue.

Girlfriend garden tour

We came together from 3 states for fun and garden tour. The house was very clean and comfortable and the only problem was one adult guest had to stay upstairs with no bathroom or even a wall mirror. We greatly appreciated the owners quick response to inquiries and requests for information. The access was very smooth and efficient. Allover experience was very positive!
