Beautiful historic two bedroom home located in Armory Park. Walking distance to downtown Tucson and local bars and restaurants! U of A is a 10 minute tram ride away. Impeccably furnished with every amenity you could need. Fully stocked kitchen ready to cook a feast! Stunning back yard with a new pool (pool can be heated for an additional fee -contact host for details). Plenty of patio space to lounge in the sun or relax in the shade. Peaceful and beautiful gardens with olive, grapefruit and lemon trees. A jewel in the desert. One of our first renters wrote. "...The house is great! The most well-stocked rental we've ever rented. This property was perfect for our winter getaway, from the charming. well-stocked home, walkable neighborhood and nearby restaurants to the fabulous backyard (with pool!). Dulce 1902….How sweet it is! We fell in love with this charming house and the spacious, well-kept property. It is cute, clean and peaceful. The neighborhood is very walkable with restaurants nearby and Downtown Tucson is just a short walking distance. We felt very safe here. Jennifer is amazing! We arrived after dark and and had a question regarding entry. We phoned her and she was there to help in 2 minutes!

We spent Thanksgiving at the property and fell in love with the house! It is very special. The outdoor spaces are amazing, olive trees, lemon tree, vines, cacti, birds, shrubs…It’s a beautiful oasis. Jenn was so responsive when I had a request on Thanksgiving Day. She went out of her way to make me happy. You can just feel the history of the house. The kitchen is very well equipped. There was nothing lacking, even a meat thermometer for the turkey. The beds are comfy, the living room is great for movie watching, the front porch for coffee, the backyard for dining. We had a such a great stay!!

Amazing Spot

We had a perfect vacation here. The house is so comfortable and it really just feels like you’re staying in a friend’s home. The backyard and pool are STUNNING and we spent so much magical time out there. It’s walking distance to so many wonderful coffee shops and the brewery nearby was great. I recommend this 100% - you will not regret it.

Very unique and historic property. The pool and gardens are stunning- a huge space with multiple seating areas, native flowers and trees. We enjoyed sitting out a bit (unfortunately we happened to be in Tucson during the rainiest three days of the year!). If you happen to be there during a rainy time, have bug spray handy! The house is comfortable, clean and well-appointed. You’ll find everything you need. We were in Tucson for parents weekend at U of Arizona and it was perfect for us. Campus is about two miles away and is a nice walk or quick ride share. We enjoyed exploring down town and 4th street too.

This house is perfect in every way. It is clean, charming and quiet. The host has thought of everything so if you forget toothpaste, makeup wipes, a razor, etc, you will be covered. The kitchen is also fully stocked. We loved the beautiful backyard with the pool, multiple tables and chairs, and all the different birds. It is in a quiet neighborhood and we walked to the 5 points area for breakfast every morning. The host is also very responsive so if we had any questions, she always got back to us right away. We definitely hope to stay there again!

Cozy well appointed refuge

We were four women with dogs who love to cook, swim and hike so this stay was perfect for us! The kitchen had everything we could possibly need ! We loved the spacious fenced backyard and the pool was fabulous. Jenn, the manager was super helpful .

I am so happy to introduce myself! I've lived in Tucson for over 35 years and absolutely love the Sonora desert. I have raised my five children here and am so happy to wake up every morning to the beautiful sun and mountains. I love hiking Tucson's varied hiking trails and have just started mountain biking. There is so much history here with wonderful restaurants and plenty to do outdoors.

Why they chose this property

This is a beautiful and unique property. This home was built in 1902 and has so much charm. When you enter the backyard you are transported to your own private resort. Lovely gardens and a beautiful heated black bottom pool. Lounge chairs and seating areas to relax or entertain your friends and family. The inside of the house is lovingly decorated to feel like a peaceful home where you can relax and enjoy the Old Pueblo.

What makes this property unique

I love the location of this home. You are 0.7 miles from downtown bars and restaurants and 0.5 miles from the tram that can take you to U of A. The historic neighborhood of Armory Park is a beautiful place to take an evening stroll and enjoy all of the old homes in the neighborhood. It is a quiet and peaceful area to be in.
