Nice little place.

This is a very nice little quiet place to stay. We enjoyed our time there. I would recommend this place to anyone that just wants to kick back and relax.

Booking and check-in were easy. Cabin was easy to find. Nice place with nature around the cabin. Saw turkeys roosting and an owl. When I had a question, the host responded promptly and was friendly. I would stay here again.

The Cohasset Cabin

Great location. Close to Grand Rapids and good fishing and golf. Cabin has thoughtful amenities and spacious sun porch. Everything functions as it should. Good stay!

Nice cabin. Photos are accurate.More info about stove, etc would have been nice. Mattress in larger bedroom very soft and sinks on the middle so not comfortable. A DVD player would have been nice to have had.Would have preferred that a washer and dryer were on the property.Grill, fire pit and back porch were very nice. We all enjoyed the sunroom and it was nice that the cabin had some games.Host let us use some kayaks, which was very nice of him.Close proximity to lakes/beaches was also great.

Family Time

We were looking for a little get away to take some time for family. My daughter is the one that suggested we go some place we had not been before. This little cabin was perfect! It has an amazing sunroom that’s nice and open to gather and play games or sit and visit. It also has a beautiful view! There’s a full kitchen with all the supplies, a grill if you’d rather cook out, and a great fire pit to make s'mores. It’s about 15 minutes from Grand Rapids, MN and there’s lots to look at there. We would definitely go back!

My husband Steven and I have lived in the Grand Rapids area for more than 20 years. We have lived on Sugar Lake with our three children for the past 4 years and love to enjoy the outdoors and recreational opportunities that UpNorth has to offer.

Why they chose this property

We own long term rentals for the last 15 years but this is our first short term rental property. We loved how it is so peaceful and relaxing. The sunroom is the perfect place to relax and just enjoy watching the wildlife out the windows.

What makes this property unique

This place is so quiet and peaceful yet located right in the heart of all kinds of recreational opportunities. Whether you want to land your boat on Sugar Lake and spend the day tubing or head over to Tioga Recreational Area for a day of world class mountain biking you will have easy access to it all. Then come back to the cabin and relax by the campfire out doors or cozy up to the wood burning stove inside.
