Cozy cottage quiet and secluded but close to everything.

This efficiency apartment has it all full kitchen with toaster oven, microwave, microwave, fridge, coffee maker and cooktop for cooking. Sleeps 3 adults unless you are sharing beds. No more than 4 adults allowed as this is a smaller unit. Property on 3 sides is surrounded by Oconee county country club golf course. 2 lakes on the property and only 1 mile to Walmart and shopping. The stars are amazing at night as you enjoy seclusion but still close to town 15 minutes to Clemson and 30 minutes to the blue ridge mountains. We are 7 minutes from beautiful lake Keowee. Bring your hiking boots! Hunt for golf balls! This truly is a hidden gem!

Would stay again

The property and owner were great. It’s an above garage apartment. Only thing that would make it better is a bigger area around the toilet. Makes it hard to use with very little space on either side

Perfect for our Needs

This property was perfect for our needs (family wedding overflow) The family was mostly at my house but I didn't have enough beds. Bunks were perfect for the kids!

Didn't have much time to actually enjoy the house, I was staying there for work. Mostly just showered and slept there. It was nice what time I was there.

Nice quiet area near to everything. Smaller apartment than I expected, not sure how you can sleep 5 as advertised. Me and my two friends all in our late 60s had to flip a coin to see who got the top bunk bed. I lost lol

Comfy & quaint; tucked away hideaway, close to everything

Pros: - a little hideaway close to everything. - shower pressure! (Seems like a weird pro, but w/ thick, long hair, it's a HUGE pro) - hot water lasted! Either the property's outfitted w/ a tankless or very large water heater. Either way, a long hot shower was very possible! - comfy bed - some cleaning supplies available - comfortable, cozy, & quaint. - property owners gave us privacy & let us enjoy our vacation w/o interruptions. - contact w/ owners via VRBO was adequate. Cons: - no curtain on front door! - found 2 palmetto bugs & 1 large cockroach. I understand that the rental was backed up to the woods, but still... - kitchen counter was NOT clean: found coffee grounds, dirt, etc when wiped - shower stall is tiny w/ an S shaped pipe. It's a bit difficult to get away from the water when soaping up, not conducive for tall people. - the toilet alcove barely has enough clearance to comfortably finish your business. (I have wider hips & felt like I was going to take off toilet paper roll from the wall.) - pool is adjacent owners ' home & not for guest use, understandable. A privacy partition would have been ideal to not view the home owner in the pool. - directions & lock instructions were a bit convoluted. When pulling up the property, there are 3 buildings: home owners' on the left, rental on the right, & over the hill the garage apt rental. Unlocking the door wasn't a problem, but needed clarification for locking the door when leaving. And "just leave it unlocked" as was suggested was not an option in my opinion. Overall: We arrived much later than expected, a bit confused at first as to which home until we crested the hill. When I was digging through my phone for the access code, Eric sent a VRBO text with the code. (thank you!) It was nice to settle in w/ a hot shower & comfy bed. Basic amenities were provided (even though we didn't really use much of anything.) When heading out the next morning to go paddling on Jocassee (highly recommend! be mindful of the midday storms!), I texted & called for clarification to engage the door lock, his wife called us back & he texted. It was suggested to leave the door unlocked; I wasn't ok with. Returning that evening, the family was grilling & in the pool. It was nice to see a family enjoying time together, but could have done w/o seeing him in the pool. For hub's & my bdays before RN school resummed, it was a decent beginning to our 12D get away whilst being given space & privacy. Thank you.

Adequate for short trip

very small, but just needed a place to sleep for a weekend trip to see family. Overall clean but did have slight musty/mildew smell that permeated my clothing and bags. Could smell it when I got home. If you just need a place to sleep, then this is good for the price. Not much else to do around there.

Good place to stay

Property was great for visiting family and friends in the area. Unit was clean and comfortable for me. Location was secluded but still close to town. I would stay there again if in the area.

Varför värden valde detta boende

Enjoy the county but still close to everything. We have 40 acres of trails to explore look for golf balls or just enjoy the 2 lakes on the property. Find golf balls on the 13th hole at the north west side of the property..... record is 35 balls in one setting!
