About this property
Glamping in the Redwoods, with hot tub! The Knoll
Our small family farm invites you to camp in luxury under a canopy of redwoods. Located just 10 mins outside of Garberville in a redwood valley, we offer two glamping sites that have everything you need to enjoy nature in style. One of the sites is called The Orchard. You can drive your car right up to it. The other requires climbing stairs to the top of a hill. We call that one The Knoll. This page describes The Knoll. See our other listings to view more info on The Orchard site.
The Knoll site features a carpeted 13 foot round bell tent with a queen size bed with all linens, pillows blankets, as well as a couch, coffee table, and solar powered lights both inside and outside. It has a small outdoor kitchenette with a 1-burner stove, pots, pans, coffee, tea, and a 5-gallon water jug. Enjoy your meals on a large outdoor table. Plates, glasses and cutlery are provided. There is a cooler, a compost bin for your food scraps, Porta-Potty service and a hand washing station that are at the bottom of the steps about 150 feet away.
For showering, we have built you a gorgeous spiral outdoor shower. Please use it before you relax under the stars in our 5 person hot tub! Please note, the hot tub is shared.
Both tent sites are very private. You and the other campsite share the Porta-Potty and shower, as well as our hot tub.
Our farm is located 10 min drive outside of Garberville. Our driveway is a 2 mile dirt road in excellent condition that prefers an AWD or 4WD car, or mini SUV. Please message us if you have any questions. We'd be happy to chat with you!
If you’re a nature lover, Humboldt county has endless beauty to behold. It is home to the tallest trees on the planet. It boasts majestic cliffs overlooking the ocean. About us: We are 4 adults who have lived on this land growing our own food and medicine for over 20 years. Our land is off-grid, but we have a robust solar and hydro energy system. We take great pride in stewarding this beautiful land and farm responsibly. We would love the opportunity to show it off to you. We are also happy to share our secrets on the best forest hikes, the best swimming holes, the best beaches, the best restaurants and anything else you would like to know about Humboldt. Welcome!
