Niché au cœur de plus de 24 acres de bois et offrant une façade privée de plus de ¼ de mile sur les immaculées Menominee River et Squaw Creek, vous échangerez immédiatement votre téléphone et votre ordinateur portable contre des chaussures de randonnée, un maillot de bain et un short!

Cette maison en rondins construite sur mesure de 3 000 pieds carrés à aire ouverte a été conçue pour notre famille, ne laissant aucun détail oublié. Vous trouverez 5 chambres, une mezzanine et 3 salles de bain complètes. La suite principale comprend sa propre salle de bain avec une superbe douche en pierre de taille et une chambre privée projetée en 3 saisons. Une grande terrasse hors de la grande salle vous permettra, à vous et à vos invités, de profiter de la sérénité du plein air. La cuisine moderne bien aménagée avec des appareils en acier inoxydable avec un grand coin-repas permet à vos amis et votre famille de se rassembler pour des repas faits maison. Coin repas avec pont arrière avec barbecue au charbon et table de pique-nique.

De plus, notre maison comprend un sous-sol avec une salle de jeux où votre famille peut profiter de jeux de société et de hockey sur air, ou vous détendre dans la section de cuir pour visionner un film sur grand écran. We had an amazing weekend at the cabin. The weather was absolutely beautiful and we took full advantage of the gorgeous property. 24 acres for the kids to explore and go on the extremely thoughtful scavenger hunt. They fished we had a bonfire and made so many lasting family memories. I can’t thank Joseph and Brian enough for being so attentive and going above and beyond. We can’t wait to plan our next vacation to the property in the years to come. It was absolutely perfect.

Our stay was great! Couple things that need fixed would be toilet paper roll holder was falling out of wall. The dryer takes about 3 hrs to dry. Other than that its a beautiful place to stay! Will definitely be back!!!

We had an amazing time at the rental. Just the place our group needed to unwind. Secluded with plenty of nature to enjoy and space for everyone. The little kids really liked the kids bedroom with its small loft. They made it their imaginary castle. The group enjoyed the river for fishing and swimming. River was about 3ft high, which was the perfect depth for the the kids to wade in and swim.. It is WI in August, so expect bugs and the occasional thunderstorm and humidity.

Christmas in July

Our family is spread out over the upper midwest and get together in the summer to celebrate Christmas. We have stayed in a few nice homes in the past, but this home was by far the best! It is in a beautiful, peaceful, and quiet setting, we had plenty of room and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The fire pit, walking trails to the river and the decks were all perfect. Our grandson loved walking the trails and playing with some of the toys. Any questions we had were answered quickly by the owner. We would recommend this home to anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing stay in a beautiful and comfortable home.

Perfect wooded getaway!

Beautiful cabin with plenty of space. The fire pit was a hit in the evenings and the river was right off the lot. The water was very low but it was beautiful to sit or walk the path and still enjoy it.

Awesome get-away

Spent several days with our crew, was VERY spacious, had plenty of room for everyone to have "space" and also plenty of room for us all to be together!! Water pressure was lacking but that's sometimes just the way it is. The cabin was clean and everything (except dryer) worked as it should. We had an awesome time! The manager Brian was super friendly and helpful! Very attentive and quickly responded when we reached out for communication. He even had scavenger hunts for us with prizes!! Above and beyond!!! Our only "complaint" really was the mosquitos and of course that's beyond human control!!! Will definitely be on our list for a return family trip!!! Highly recommend!

Tranquil secluded property, very relaxing rained for 3 days, disappointed the TV was not hooked up so we could have had movies. Large house, everyone had a bed.

This was a mixed bag. The house was very nice in a beautiful wooded setting. The area was wonderful with great vacation activities on rivers and waterfalls.However, various things important to us were not as represented on the property website or in communications with us. There was really no place to put in a boat on the river as there was no pier and really no place to tie up a boat. The river was not reasonably accessible for swimming as we had to climb down a fairly short but steep hill to reach a mucky entrance to the water. Similarly, Squaw Creek could not be used as it was shallow, rocky, and only accessible by climbing through brush. We were told there was air hockey and/or ping pong, which was important to us, but neither was present.So, combining the pluses and minuses, we come out to an OK rating,

Yearly family trip

My family and I take a trip every year. We change locations every time but this one is going on the list to visit again. Such a beautiful cabin in an amazing location. The gentleman that takes care of the cabin was so extremely helpful and kind during our trip. He even droves us up river. The owner of the property was very fast at responding and helpful the whole time!

This was an amazingly comfortable, spacious, and welcoming accommodation. We couldn't have hoped for more. All our needs and expectations were met and generally exceeded. Not only were towels, blankets, and all needed cooking equipment available and plentiful, but even games and entertainment were available. We even found a new family favorite board game! Don't miss the treasure hunt, which transfixed our children. It's well worth a mosquito bite or two.Access to the river is to your left and be sure that you have check-in information before you arrive at the front door, because Internet and even phone connectivity is not very reliable until you connect to the property's Wi-Fi. (We actually had to drive back into town for a signal to get the information we had failed to confirm before arriving.)We absolutely will be back in the future. This property made a trip which some of our party were less than enthusiastic about into a memorable family vacation balancing the rugged beauty of the northern woods with the comfort of a sug bed and the occasional necessary escape from the heat and humidity of midday.Enjoyed the fire pit outback especially, but every bit is magical.Awesome!

Great winter weekend

Really enjoyed this place. Beautiful cabin, well-appointed. Stayed with 7 people, including 2 couples. Sleeping arrangements were very comfortable--more so than many large cabins you'll find for rent. The main room with vaulted ceilings is a great hang-out spot. Property is pretty and secluded. Coordination with rental agent was painless. Wausaukee area is nice--not as hectic as Eagle River area, and was a manageable 4.5 hr-ish drive for us from Chicago.

Family Weekend

Very nice, secluded property. Cabin was very large and roomy. Game area in basement, fire pit, beautiful kitchen and plenty of space for all to eat and play games. The grill did not work, quick pivot for dinner one night. The caretaker of the property was amazing and so helpful! We enjoyed a float down the river. Lots to do in the area. The grounds and house were excellent. Warm, sunny, and well-stocked. Unfortunately, much of the walkable area, including the river-adjacent firepit, was flooded. That wouldn't normally be the case (the waters were starting to recede by the end) , but it did cut us off from the waterfront.

Great Thanksgiving

8 Adults. 2 girls. Wonderful time. 1. 18 acres of privacy. 2. Awesome place for Nordic skiing. 3. A lot of games, air hockey, darts, basketball etc 4. Fireplace 5. Clean kitchen, bathrooms, 6. Comfortable beds, 7. Sunny Living Room with gorgeous view, 8. enough room for four families with kids. 9. No phone and internet - a real peace of mind. and many many more. Very nice cottage, NO wifi

Very nice! I wish there were less bugs and we could have enjoyed the outdoors more. The house was beautiful. There are was no wifi which was inconvenient since there is no cellular connection in the area. I would suggest taking extra items with you. The bedrooms are fairly nice, there is a very cute room for toddlers not to be mistaken for anyone beyond 5. Very small bunk bed. It was clean. The recycling and trash were confusing.The closest gas station is about 10 miles away. The river is not suited for fishing. Overall, a very nice house.

We searched for the perfect 2nd home for 2 years. Our first thought was to be on a lake until we found the 29 acres with 1/4 mile of frontage. We are able to go boating, fishing and 4 wheeling without being crowed on the lake. We all love to go tubing, you start at the Chalk Hill Dam and float for an 1 1/2 and end up right at our place, it's our own little lazy river. We also love to take nature hikes through the woods or just long walks through the trails. This has been a great place for us to create new memories with our family and friends.

We found this property and fell in love with all the seasonal changes. We thought it was going to be a place we would visit mostly in the summer but found that there was something special each season we didn't want to miss. We found ourselves entertaining there more than we did at home. It is such a great escape.

We enjoy relaxing by the second fire pit down by the river watching the Bald Eagles flying by. When they fly low to the water, you can see their reflection while swooping down for a fish.
