Unwind in the large open-plan living area, perfect for family gatherings or movie nights. Curl up with a captivating book (we have an extensive library!) in one of the many cozy nooks. The fully-equipped gourmet kitchen features granite countertops, premium stainless steel appliances, quality pots, fry pans, dishes, flatware, and chefs knives. Ayuh, thasa lobstah pot too. :-) Everything you need to whip up delicious meals. Stock up on groceries and unleash your inner chef, or enjoy relaxed breakfasts at one of the many restaurants on the island.

Gather around the large TV and enjoy a movie night with the whole family, complete with immersive SONOS surround sound. Need to catch up on emails or work remotely? A dedicated workspace with high-speed Wi-Fi is at your disposal. After a day of exploration, unwind on the deck and soak in the cool Eastport evenings. Share stories and laughter around the fire pit or a game of corn hole as the stars emerge.

Play your favorite tunes throughout the house using the SONOS system, conveniently connected to popular streaming services like Apple Music, Spotify, and Pandora. (Note there is a security camera outside that covers the driveway and front entrance.)

Huge place, lovely. Walking distance of waterfront. I wish there was A/C because the bedrooms were all upstairs and a bit tough to cool down at night, even with fans. Otherwise FABULOUS place

Always a charm staying at Third’s A Charm

Amazingly comfortable and accommodating rental. Kitchen is to die for and location near downtown Eastport is perfect. Enjoyed yet another amazing holiday here and look forward to spending another soon. Highly recommend!!

Delightful property perfectly located a couple minutes walk to "downtown" Eastport where you can see a gorgeous sunrise. We were lucky enough to see the Aurora Borealis one night...hopefully picture below is visible Very nicely appointed home, very clean, roomy, comfortable beds, parking and getting in/out a breeze. Kitchen had everything you might need to cook, make coffee, etc.. Communication with owners clear and easy but we had absolutely no issues. Our first time in Eastport and we loved it. Great people and just enough to do while really getting to unwind. If you're reading this review considering a trip here just do it and if you select this property you will have made a very good choice.

Nice relaxing getaway

We had a great time in Eastport. The house was a short walk to the charming little town right on the ocean and a short drive to hiking! It was clean and updated. With lots of warm blankets for chilly fall mornings! We would love to stay again.

Third time at Thirds a Charm

Another amazing stay at one of the best rentals available in Eastport Maine. The owners are truly amazing even offering me an extra night to avoid the pending snowstorm on Christmas Eve. This really meant a lot and just goes hand and hand with the quality of this great rental. Everything about the house was perfect for our third holiday spent there. Couldn't ask for a better experience, location, and level of comfort.

We were thoroughly satisfied with the home, neighborhood and overall location. The home was spotless, kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, beds were comfortable, the common areas offered plenty of space for us all to enjoy our time. The home is so nicely decorated. We would love the opportunity to return.

Was great. Even better than the pictures indicated. Everything inside was accessible, clean & functional. Very walkable to the business district by clientele in their mid-70s. Parking easy to access and roomy. One bit of info to owners, we noticed a shingle loose on the roof

The perfect home away from home

We rented this home to visit with family who live in the area and could not have asked for more. We went on long walks along the waterfront and in the town every day (lots of nice hills)! We enjoyed every minute and hated to leave. We will be back if this home is available. We didn’t have one question because everything has been thought of.

Heaven on Earth!

Upon arrival I was amazed at the level of cleanliness. The house keeping staff is absolutely EXCEPTIONAL!!! The house was a perfect match for us with just the right amount of space. The location is fantastic for walking to town for some shopping, beach combing or a drink at the local bar. Gail was quick to respond to questions and very accommodating.

What a beautiful escape!

We had a fabulous stay in Gail and Bob’s stunning house. The layout was perfect for our family - two parents, two young boys and nanna… lots of cozy spaces for us to hang out or to steal a quiet moment alone. The decor was beautiful and we loved all the local touches. Gail and Bob provided helpful recommendations and were very responsive during our stay. The house was steps from downtown Eastport and the ocean, and an easy drive to interesting trails and beaches. We would highly recommend if you’re looking for a family-friendly, luxury getaway to Eastport!

We are Gail and Bob. Thank you for considering staying in our lovely Eastport getaway. Here's some background on us:

We're travelers just like you. We have stayed at dozens of vacation rental homes throughout the US and Europe and continue to do so. From this, we've learned what amenities in the house and communications from the host makes for a wonderful stay.

We started our hosting journey over 5 years ago with a vacation rental in Marco Island, Florida. (VRBO 4828834 5-stars) This unit is busy all year round so we have it managed by a professional management company. From their and travelers' suggestions, we are continually fine-tuning our hosting.

You might note both locations have similar design feels. We had a top interior designer completely design both locations to give you a premium experience.

We strive to provide quick, clear communication and a memorable stay.

One of our favorite things about "Third's a Charm" is how close it is to town. We love to park our car and never need it again until we leave.

We really love how the interior design came out. It has lots of cozy areas to do your own thing, yet has an open floor plan so you're not isolated. The yard is just big enough to enjoy the evening cool air or even tell stories around the fire pit. The kitchen is well stocked with quality pots, fry pans, dishes, flatware, knives, and appliances. Ayuh, thasa lobstah pot too. :-)
