Tranquility awaits you in this luxurious 5 bedroom/5-bathroom home! Drive through the motorized gate and park in the shade of the large carport (room for 3 cars). Enjoy a swim in the private pool surrounded by lush landscaping. Lounge on the covered patio with seating area and large outdoor dining table. Create a culinary masterpiece using The Big Green Egg smoker, gas BBQ, or in the modern, well-equipped kitchen. Admire breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea, Table Mountain, and the Spanish Water from the amazing rooftop terrace. You’ll feel like you are at your own private resort! The house features 2 master bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and access to a wraparound covered balcony, and an additional bedroom with separate bathroom located on the second floor. Two more bedrooms are located on the first floor that share a bathroom off the hall. Four bedrooms are equipped with King sized beds, one has a Queen-sized bed. There is also a full bathroom with a shower at the covered patio/pool area. The large kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove and oven, microwave, refrigerator/freezer with ice & water dispenser, dishwasher, toaster, panini maker, blender, Nespresso coffee machine, and a large indoor dining table. The cozy living room has a comfortable sectional sofa and smart TV. Laundry is a breeze with a full-sized washer/dryer, iron & ironing board, clothes steamer, drying racks, and a large clothesline behind the house as well.

Situated in the sought-after Vista Royal neighborhood in Jan Thiel, you are less than a kilometer from a grocery store, Jan Thiel beach, multiple resorts with several bars & restaurants, shopping, and a casino, the Jan Thiel salt flats & inland lagoon w/ hiking trail, and the famous I Love Curacao cliff-side bench!
It’s a short drive to other resorts/beaches, tons of restaurants and shopping, the spectacularly beautiful Old Quarry golf course (voted best Caribbean golf course in 2018 and 2019 by USA Today!!!), charming Dutch Colonial downtown Willemstad, and so much more!

Best vacation ever!

We loved our stay at Vista Royal Jan Theil. The house is beautiful and has everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The location is great, we explored the entire island. We plan to return soon!

Great house

The House was perfect for hanging out as a group and for splitting up as to have some alone time. Plenty of places to eat in the area our fav was Pasawa and Salmon Grill. The property manager Mandy was great very responsive, friendly and knowledgeable even when we called for a minor issue they came out to assist on a holiday. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We plan to stay there again on our next trip.

Home away from home

The villa is wonderful and there are many thoughtful and considerate things to make it feel at home. The hosts provide everything you could need.Our group included adults, children under 10, teenagers and a baby and it suited our needs. Even in a large group, there are places you can escape to including the rooftop and corners of the balcony. The location is excellent. Walking distance from a Jan Thiel beach and a supermarket. We were able to fit all of our cars on the drive. It is worth hiring a car to explore the island and reach closeby restaurants etc. Willemstad is a relatively short drive away.The hosts and Mandy are very responsive and lovely. Thank you for allowingǰ us to stay in your home x

Well appointed villa with all you need

Loads of room for the 10 of us. Kitchen well stocked, excellent appliances, comfy beds, and aL kinds of outdoor space to enjoy. Managers were very helpful for taxi recommendations, rental car recommendations

Lovely Home in best location on Curasao

Our first vacation in Curasao. The house is beautiful and very clean. 2 bedrooms one bath downstairs and one full bathroom outside by the pool. 3 bedroom 3 bathrooms upstairs. Some of the beds have 2 twin mattresses to make a king. If you and your partner are middle of the bed sleepers, chose a room with a king mattress. The kings made of twins tend to separate making for uneven sleep.Kitchen is nicely equipped which made for 4 nights for home cooked meals. Pool area is covered and meals outside allow you to enjoy the breeze.

Wonderful Villa

The property was amazing and the property manager was extremely responsive. If you want to have a reunion and hang out, this property is perfect.The location is far from the best beaches on Curacao and the traffic while we were there was pretty bad. Convenient access to the marina at Caracas Bay.

Great House, Great Location, Great for Families

The house was exactly what we were looking for. It was clean and spacious, with plenty of communal areas to gather and rooms to keep to one's own (teenagers). The outdoor space by the pool was fantastic and really the ideal place to spend your time. Also, having been to Curacao several times, we found this location to be our favorite with its proximity to Jan Thiel beach, supermarkets, great restaurants and more. And Mandy the property manager could not have been more helpful and communicative – would not be surprised if she had some sort of hand in arranging the perfect weather.

Five Couples

The property is in an excellent location in a very upscale neighborhood. There is a grocery store within 1 mile as well as a beach and restaurant's. Mandi was our host and was there as soon as we arrived and explained everything about the house to us. On the fifth day we had an issue with one of the A/C units as well as a locked door to one of the rooms. We had both items fixed as soon as reasonably possible. I highly recommend this villa.

Great family vacation

The house was exactly as advertised, the property manager Mandy was wonderful, and the location was perfect. We walked to Jan Thiel beach, it was less than a 10 minute walk.

Great Property!

This is an amazing property and you cannot go wrong with this rental. It is in a nice neighborhood, 1/2 mile from a casino, small grocery store (larger ones are within 3-4 miles) and Jan Thiel beach. Communication with owners and Mandy (property manager) were excellent. We did have some minor issues on day 2 but Mandy was there quickly and resolved. On our last full day we had A/C issues but Mandy had someone there within an hour and it was just a breaker. Unfortanately, later that evening another unit went out (which I expect was the real problem) and one of the bedrooms had no A/C that night. Wasn't much could be done at 7 pm on a Friday night. We went over on our A/C allowance and the owners credited half back to us for the issues without our asking which I thought was generous. Very impressed how they handled the issues; high level of customer service. Would 100% stay here again. Thanks for a wonderful trip.

Large property with beautiful pool and third story roof access via stairway for amazing ocean views. Absolutely everything for a relaxed holiday. Bedrooms are large and comfortable…ditto showers etc. Kitchen is modern and has an abundance of cookware and utensils. Loved the game selection provided. Bring HDMI cable as Wifi is weak away from main downstairs living area. Overall: 5 Star!

Wonderful Villa

Myself and various friends stayed in the villa for the month of February, 2024. Everything about the villa was exceptional. The house is very spacious and has several outdoor gathering spots. Surprisingly, we hardly made use of the rooftop area. It was pretty windy during our stay, with even a few days of rain. We spent most of the time in the pool area with its great gathering table and plentiful loungers. The washer, dryer and big clothes line were especially nice to have. The kitchen had everything we could ask for and we used the grill a lot. There is an information binder that has useful information about the house and activities on the island. Mandy, the house manager, is a gem! We had a couple of requests and she fulfilled them immediately. She was always accessible and made check in and checkout seamless. Casa Laman is at the southern end of the island and very near a very adequate grocery store, several restaurants and some snorkeling beaches. We especially liked the restaurant Fuego which is very near the villa. We recommend renting a car and visiting the beaches north of Willemstad. We especially liked snorkeling at Blue Bay Beach and Coral Bay. We weren’t as impressed with the turtle beach at the north end of the island - mostly because it was over run with busloads of cruise ship passengers Overall we liked everything about our stay and highly recommend Casa Laman

Stunning house and location

This house is amazing! We just got back from a multi-generational family vacation and the house fit our needs perfectly! First, we arrived at an immaculately cleaned home. It is very spacious and spread out, so no one felt on top of another. The kitchen has top notch appliances and equipped with everything you could possibly need for cooking and snacking, including the icemaker which makes craft ice cubes! The laundry facilities and clothesline are a bonus. The outdoor spaces include coverings for shade. The rooftop patio offers panoramic views of the ocean. You get both stunning sunrises and sunsets from here, as well as constant wonderful ocean breezes. It also has two large tables with chairs which allowed our whole group to gather together. The main floor outdoor space also has a large covered seating area as well as lounge chairs around the pool. Needless to say, we spent most of our time outdoors! And at night, there is enchanting lighting everywhere, including the pool, offering extended outdoor time. The villa also offers gated parking for several cars with remotes provided. We can all say with certainty that our stay at the villa surpassed our expectations for a wonderful island family vacation. We highly recommend this home for a great getaway. Hoping to be able to repeat our stay sometime!

Beautiful home

This home was so lovely for our family trip to Curacao. Unlike many vacation rentals, this house is actually set up for a group to cook and live in the house. We enjoyed the barbecue and sitting on the roof for every dinner. The house felt roomy and cozy at the same time. We enjoyed our stay at this home!

AMAZING - A Must Stay!

Wow, this Villa was amazing! We booked a girl's trip for 7 - 50+ ladies and we couldn't have asked for anything better. The home was very spacious, super clean, and modern. The kitchen is huge and came equipped with everything. All 5 bedrooms had large king-size beds along with 5 bathrooms, 1 bath was right by the pool, so you didn't have to run inside. We loved the large dining room table and the large patio table with tons of seating. The pool was wonderful and refreshing, we were in it every day, even before and after the beach or whatever we did that day. Loved the balcony outside the two primary bedrooms, and the roof-top patio was spectacular. The location was perfect, we were so close to Jan Theil Beach, with lots of restaurants, and grocery, it was so convenient and even within walking distance for some. We explored every part of the island and loved every second of it. It was so nice to come home to this amazing villa when we actually left it. Mandy the property manager was super responsive, and the check-in and out were seamless. I can't say enough how much we all enjoyed ourselves and I would recommend this place and its location on the island 100% You will want to experience it yourself. We will be back for sure!

Amazing house and location

We flew in from Canada to enjoy a one week vacation in Curacao with 6 other adults and we were happy we found this beautiful gem. This spcaious house not only accommodated 7 of us, it super-ceded our expectations with all the modern finishes and rooftop patio. 5 bathrooms and everyone received their own large bedrooms!! This house was full equipped with everything we needed. The green egg was a bonus!! Check in was simple and the property manager Mandy was present and personable if we needed anything. She even gave us each a welcome gift. Greatly appreciated! Location is key, when we got tired of swimming in the spectacular pool we would easily walk to the beach, about a 10 mins walk to the popular Jan Thiel beaches. There is also a supermarket and shops along the way. We highly recommend this house and this group will be returning. Tks again for the great hospitality! You will not be disappointed! Cheers! Me and my wife Cheryl live in the Chicagoland area in the United States. I am a Soldier in the U.S. military for over 36 years and my wife has worked in property management for over 25 years. We absolutely love the Caribbean, and it has been our dream to retire to the islands. When we found this home, we knew we finally found our perfect retirement place. Curacao is an amazing island, and we can't wait to eventually move there permanently when we retire. We visited the island in 2022 for the second time and fell in love with the people and the island amenities. We have visited over 12 different Carribean islands, many of them more than once, and after visiting Curacao a second time, we knew this was going to be our future retirement location.

The neighborhood of Jan Thiel is the nicest neighborhood on the island. You are surrounded by the ocean with amazing cliff views. It has all the amenities you could ask for within walking distance. It is also just a few minutes' drive away from the capital of Willemstad which offers everything you could ask for.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Our rooftop terrace! This is what made us fall head over heels for the property. Walking through the house, we already knew it was the house of our dreams. However, climbing the stairs and seeing the views from the rooftop was what let us know we weren't going to find a more unique and amazing place than this. Additionally, when we are relaxing poolside, it makes us feel like we are at your own private resort. The walls and landscaping surrounding the property gives you the ultimate feeling of privacy, and the sounds of the palm leaves rustling in the breeze provides absolute serenity.
