Mountain to Sand Adventures presents Foothills Run! Foothills Run is a charming cabin in Wears Valley, TN nestled in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains offering breathtaking views. This location is close to all the action in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg yet far enough away to still enjoy a peaceful mountain experience.

~ 5 minutes to the entrance of the Foothills Parkway
~10 minutes to Great Smoky Mountains National Park - Metcalf Bottoms entrance
~20 minutes to Pigeon Forge
~25-30 minutes to Dollywood
~35-40 minutes to Gatlinburg

Please note:
1. Fresh linens and towels provided as well as a starter pack of k-cups, hand soap, toilet paper, paper towel, trash bags, dishwasher pods and laundry pods. Hair dryer included in each bathroom.
2. Cabin has central heating and air conditioning. It is on well water (with a full softening system) and septic.
3. Outdoor surveillance on this cabin has four cameras all around the main deck and garage area.
4. Use of garage and owners closet not permitted
5. There is a 3% credit card processing fee for all cancellations. That means your refund will be 97% of the original booking amount if cancelled at least 30 days before check in.
6. $300 security deposit hold (refundable assuming no damages) and signature on the rental agreement are required for booking. The terms in the rental agreement are not negotiable so please inquire if you'd like to read it before booking. Check in details, including the cabin access code, will not be provided until this step is complete.
7. A late check out fee of $100 per every 30 minutes past 10:00am EST will be assessed to guests who do not check out on time. Standard check out time is 10:00am EST.
8. Host promptly responds daily between 9am and 9pm. Messages outside these hours may experience a longer response time.

The view from the living area of the gorgeous Smokey Mountains dressed in their finest fall colors was breathtaking. The house was well furnished had everything one would want for a spectacular stays in the Tennessee Mountains. Andrea even gave us some excellent recommendations for yummy restaurants in town. We would absolutely stay here again!!

We truly enjoyed our vacation in this cabin. It definitely lived up to the listing name of majestic views. We had beautiful sunrises and the secluded cabin was peaceful with everything we needed. It is in a perfect location not far from Pigeon Forge as well as Cades Cove so we were able to do everything we wanted. Before our trip there was a possible issue with the roads and the owner was quick to contact me to let me know and keep me updated on the status. Luckily it ended up being a false alarm but the communication was greatly appreciated. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone wanting a great family vacation!

We have been coming to Gatlinburg for 36 years and this cabin has been our favorite. It was extremely clean, had easy access to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, and Andrea has been the easiest communicator and most accommodating host ever. We are truly grateful for how she went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. And the view was beautiful!

This was an excellent choice for our Labor Day Weekend get away. My husband and I were joined by our son and daughter in law and their three daughters from Florida. The house was very clean, and everything was just as we had wanted. The view from the wraparound porch was fantastic, the weather was cooler than it had been, and the house and furnishings were wonderful. We had a great time! The only things that frustrated us was the extremely large crowds and the fact that we had to drive for three hours from the house on Monday morning to get to I-40. Traffic was backed up everywhere! If we ever get to come back to this area again, we will rent this house if we can, but not come on Labor Day Weekend!

This cabin was a perfect fit for my family (2 parents and 5 kiddos ranging from 3-28 years old). Exceptionally stocked kitchen and the entire house was very clean. Andrea was responsive with any inquiries within minutes! The description of the driveway was definitely helpful!! And the well water- we couldn’t even tell. My favorite part? The view!

Wonderful cozy cabin for all ages

The cabin was perfect for our multi-generational girls trip! The main floor was great for my mother to access everything, including entry door, and her bedroom and bath, without having to use any stairs. My teen daughter loved the loft space and downstairs game room. And we all enjoyed having morning coffee and evening meals on the deck gazing at the spectacular mountains views. Hope to be back again soon!

Great location and great views!

We were traveling through the area and wanted to have a couple days to enjoy Great Smoky Mountain National Park. We were not disappointed! This house is in a great location, convenient to Townsend, Wears Valley, Sevierville and, if you desire, Gatlinburg and Pideon Forge. Pretty much anything you would want to do is within 15 miles of here. The house is in great shape, very clean, and the owners are friendly and easy to communicate with. Our only disappointment was that we were unable to stay more than two days because of our schedule. I would definitely come back.

Lovely spring break stay

Me, my husband, son, mother and father came down for spring break. Weather was a bit all over the board but we enjoyed our stay thoroughly. Rainy days we went to Pigeon Forge or played pool and board games. Sunny days were for sitting on the deck, grilling and Cades Cove. Main level worked perfectly for my elderly mother, everything needed (including the deck) was on the main level. Just note the main level bedroom bed is tall, luckily we had a stool for her to use. Make sure to spend some time on the down stairs deck swing, so comfy. House was clean and had everything we needed. Would stay here again.

Spring Break Trip

The cabin was perfect for our family of 4 and our friend’s family of 3! We were able to have a little separation and plenty of room. The views off the top deck are absolutely amazing!! The hot tub was huge and a perfect way to end each night.

Roads - Navigation of windy and at times steep, mountain roads are required along the drive to the cabin. It is also very dark after the sun goes down with little street lighting. Please plan to arrive in the daylight if you are not comfortable navigating curvy mountain roads after dark. 4 wheel drive is not required unless a significant snow storm comes through.

Well Water - The cabin is on well water which is filtered through a salt filtration system that softens the water. While it is safe to drink, we recommend bringing bottled water for drinking and making coffee. Please note there is no water filtration device in the cabin for drinking water.

Septic System - The cabin is on a septic system. Only septic safe toilet paper is approved to be flushed, no other items such as wipes and feminine hygiene products should be flushed.

Wildlife and Critters - Hurray you are in the mountains! That comes with some new encounters. The cabin is treated monthly by a licensed pest control service however there is still a possibility that a critter could make their way inside. Lady bugs are a harmless nuisance that sometimes make their way into the main level. There have been multiple bear and bear cub sightings so far this year in the neighborhood. It is also possible to encounter snakes, spiders and other mountain wildlife during your stay. Please do not leave food or trash outside and use the black bear trash bins by the garage to dispose of cabin trash.

Cell Service - There is no cell phone service at the cabin, however Xfinity high speed wifi is available. Please enable wifi calling before your trip.

Pool and Deli - Please note the pool is Memorial Day through Labor Day. Deli at the pool is open year round.

No check in/out Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
