Ski in/out to Snowshoe Village!! This 1-bedroom condo is super convenient to everything ~ park in our underground deck and you never have to drive anywhere to be close to all the action! Beautifully decorated, this condo also boasts its own Wifi and an expansive library of movies.

Located in the heart of Snowshoe Village, this Gold Rated western facing condo is convenient to all of the shops, restaurants, and activities. With private gear lockers, beautiful hot tubs, and a sauna just steps away this condo has it all. Fully equipped kitchen for dining in and a private entrance to Starbucks makes this an ideal retreat. After a full day of skiing, hiking or biking, a warm fire greets you along with the most amazing sunset views through our floor to ceiling picture window.

We've stocked our home with lots of extras to make your trip comfortable. Family friendly DVDs, playing cards, and even a crockpot for making batches of chili. With your own private Wifi Hotspot you'll never miss an email, stream music and videos, and stay in touch with those not fortunate to be on the mountain with you! We've even provided you with a warm air humidifier to make you feel comfy!

The kids enjoy skiing, snowboarding, hiking, and shopping at Snowshoe. Now in college, the girls began skiing at the ages 3 & 5 and traditionally spend their birthdays with friends on the slopes.

Why Lisa & Greg Campbell chose West Virginia

We've always loved Snowshoe and when Mother decided she wanted to find a place with an amazing mountain view we knew Rimfire Lodge was the perfect spot. We love the fact that once we've parked in the underground deck (mom loves this because she doesn't have to dig out the car at the end of a ski trip!) we never need to drive anywhere the rest of our stay. The shuttle stops in front of our building so we can go anywhere on the mountain and we just ski in/out from the Village. Shopping is fun and the atmosphere is magical.

What makes this condo unique

The best part for us is with everything so convenient, the kids can grab a slice of pizza, we can shop, and then meet back in the middle for a day of skiing or hiking. When the girls were younger the Village allowed them a little bit of freedom and me some peace of mind as they could meet their friends for hot chocolate and we never had to worry. This beautiful setting is so ideal, in the winter it feels like an Alpine village. During the summer the cool mountain air is what draws us back not to mention all of the fun activities. Tradition dictates that we have to have BBQ at Foxfire on Saturday nights no matter how long the wait... it's always worth it:-)

We had a fantastic experience with this rental. The owners are great and very responsive (we even extended our trip by one extra night mid-trip, and the owners made the process easy and were able to extend a late checkout to us when we left, which was greatly appreciated!!). Our key cards arrived on time and it was wonderful to simply walk in to the condo without having to stop anywhere to check-in. The location was absolutely fantastic. It took us a day to figure it out, but we were able to get to Starbucks without leaving the building by using the North building entrance (the condo is in the South building, but both sides are connected) just past the main glass doors that go out to the village (make a u-turn to find the interior Starbucks door). We were happy to find luggage carts in the parking level when we arrived. The condo was exactly as pictured (we loved the fireplace!) and it was very well stocked (including things like hand soap, dish soap, spices, sugar, foil, plastic bags, trash bags, coffee maker, toaster, crock-pot, humidifier, hair dryer, matches, video games and movies, playing cards, etc...there were even extra kid and adult helmets in the closet!). My family (two adults and two children) stayed 5 nights and enjoyed the great location just a quick walk from Ballhooter lift (and did I mention Starbucks is literally right in the building???). The ski/snowboard lockers are also right in front of the condo (super convenient). We loved that the pool and hot tubs were also available, and having the laundry room on the fourth floor was great. Parking was easy across the street (we unloaded/loaded at the main entrance and took the elevator to the room on the first floor). We chose not to use the underground parking due to the height of our vehicle with snowboard rack on top, but the covered parking sure did look nice! Overall, the room was fantastic, very convenient to everything, and had everything we needed and then some.

Amazing as always!

Renting from Lisa has always been trouble-free! I think this was our 3rd stay in Rimfire 143. It's so convenient to the Village and Starbucks. We loved the garage parking to secure our bikes for the GNCC race. The condo is well stocked with essentials - especially the kitchen. The windows offer a view of the mountains through the pines. I will say, pick up any essentials you need at Elkins or the gas station at the bottom of the hill as we found Wildcat Provisions to be expensive for items we forgot.

Great Location!

This condo was amazing! Very clean & well stocked with lots of extras - just perfect for our getaway to Snowshoe. First floor unit in the Village - located just steps from the hot tub, slopes, restaurants, and shops. The owners could not have been better to work with as well...communicated some great information before our trip. We will definitely keep this condo on our list for return visits and will recommend to our friends.

Excellent Location and Well-Equipped Condo

We stayed here for a family ski trip for 4 nights with our 17 year old and 10 year old. I will echo the other reviewers' comments about convenience - it really is the perfect location on the first floor, right by the exit to the Village and a very short walk to the slopes. It is also right next to the (free) ski lockers, Starbucks, and the workout room and outdoor hot tubs. The only time we had to use the elevator was bringing our stuff up from the truck when we arrived and taking it back down when we left (whether you park in the garage or drop off at the front door, that's one level below the 'first floor,' which opens directly to the Village).

We enjoyed staying in the Rimfire building, and this room specifically, much more than our last stay in Mountain Lodge (which was two years ago and booked through Snowshoe). The condo had plenty of room and was well stocked - especially the kitchen. Knowing there was a crockpot, we brought all the ingredients for chili, which minimized the number of times we needed to eat out in the Village. Beyond normal clothing, toiletries, gear for skiing or whatever activities you're doing, and food, about the only thing you need to bring is beach towels or large bath towels for the hot tubs (or pools next door if you chose to pay for and use them). Unable to totally unplug and get away, we of course brought a plethora of electronic devices, and the wireless router in the unit provided a very fast connection (even my 10 year old son was impressed).

The owners are great and maintained outstanding communication, starting with a phone call several days in advance of our arrival to coordinate mailing of the key cards and answer any questions we had. When I texted with a question during our stay, I got a prompt response.

We're planning another trip to Snowshoe when the snow conditions are better, and we'll definitely try to book this condo again.

Perfect Getaway in Snowshoe

Excellent unit centrally located in the village. Easy access to ski slopes and restaurants. Unit is well appointed and has a wonderful western view. Owners have been so easy to work with and always want to make sure that you have the perfect getaway.
