Cute little house in the country. Came in for the Belmont and it was perfect for sleeping, showering and relaxing with friends after long days exploring. Has a great little deck and fire pit.

Needed some fall deep cleaning, ran into some mechanical problems, but within 2 days , things were repaired and I when I asked, I was given a discount for the inconvenience. Host responds quickly. View from deck was amazing. Parking is really tight, with the large home next door to this carriage house.

This property is a stand alone carriage house. Rustic and aesthetically pleasing from the outside. The pictures on the site are accurate as far as the inside space. We ran into some issues with the heating (the small gas fireplace was the primary source of heat and didn’t do well heating the large space downstairs or upstairs. The pilot light went out more than ones and we had to resort to A small electric heater in the bedroom and living room that did not do the job. It appeared that this rental wasn’t used all winter or at least wasn’t cleaned before we arrived. The fields and sunsets were beautiful that being said the bitter cold country setting surely drew cold field mice inside for warmth throughout the winter, there was evidence of that.as The kitchen gas stove was great though not cleaned prior to arrival. Advise that you bring your own bath gel and shampoo. It’s a great space and probably more appealing in the summer for a family. It has great potential. The host was responsive.

The heating of the gas fireplace is more than adequate ! It is set up to heat a space twice as big. The guests kept turning the dial that adjusts the Flame the wrong way repeatedly even after my caretaker was there and again over the phone informed them of the simple direction to turn it the right way. They never mentioned to me about mice feces while they were there and we communicated constantly. They refused to look at the website for wifi information as well as lockbox code. I never spoke to Michael who made the reservation and my caretaker never got to see him while he was there. I communicated with "his girlfriend". We still do not know who stayed at the house. They will not be welcomed back!

Rustic Carriage House

We enjoyed our stay - great communication from host, very reasonable rate, and overall experience was positive. This carriage house is rustic with exposed original wood beams, steep rudimentary staircase, sloping floors, etc. Downstairs is open area for kitchen/dining/living room, with a laundry room and a bathroom. Upstairs there are two generous bedrooms that share a small bathroom.

Rustic vibes :)

My family enjoyed our stay at The Carriage House! It was just the perfect size for our small family. I loved the character of the home as well as the farmhouse/rustic vibes. It took a little getting used to using the gas fireplace as the main source of heat, but I loved watching the fire. The stairs are steep so just keep that in mind if traveling with little ones! Our host was easy to get in touch with and checked in to see how things were going. It’s also about 30 minutes from the six flags indoor water park, and a few minutes from Kibg Brothers Dairy (great ice cream!). Definitely worth staying at!
