Our space is a short drive to many historic sites, the Saratoga Racetrack, SPAC, Adirondack Mountains and Albany, which is the New York Sate capital. Perfect for the business traveler and adventurer alike. Space used to be a a full functioning diner called the "Ugly Rooster Cafe." Come stay with us in this awesome Diner Themed home!!!

The floors were dirty and the shower is nasty, needs a good cleaning. The kitchen sink may be leaking, there was a wet spot underneath. The bed in the room to the right squeaks and uncomfortable.

Unfortunately this is not a great review and I hardly ever leave bad reviews. Check in time was 3:00pm and when I arrived at the location just after 3;00 I had still not yet received a code or entry instructions. I sent 2 messages to the host with no reply. Called the host but it was a property management number and was closed for the weekend. So I had to called customer service. The location was very confusing as it had several doors and lock boxes so without proper instructions it was very frustrating not to mention the area is very sketchy and run down. We eventually got in thanks to the agent who stayed on the phone and walked us through the info and process they had on file. I received a message from the host 10hours later at 5:00am saying “I realize I never sent the code , did you get in okay?” ?!? 10 hours later and not even an apology. Terrible communication. The location is a larger old building divided into units. The unit is meant to replicate an old diner but it’s just kinda creepy and not warm and cozy at all. Sorry would not recommend

Loved this place

Had a great weekend. This place was so freakin adorable. Was quiet and the location was close to everything but far enough away to be able to have some peace. Will be staying here again.

Very clean and roomy with many extra amenities. Loved the towel warmer! Comfy beds and pillows. Would definitely stay again!

Staying at the roost

The roost is really cool! Lots or resemblance to an old diner which makes it very unique but fun. It was nice to stay with a friend. Large bathroom and lots of room to sleep a couple people. Would recommend for a trip with friends.

Lovely!

This apartment was adorable, clean, and communication with the owner was easy and efficient. We wish we would’ve had more time to enjoy the space, but will definitely book again when traveling back to Saratoga Springs. 10/10.

Enjoyed the Roost

Spent a weekend at the Roost with family. We were a group of 4 adults and had plenty of room to unwind and relax after a day in Saratoga. The unit was charming and exactly as advertised. Kitchen was well stocked. Quiet and friendly community. Host responded promptly to communication. We had dinner at the End Zone and breakfast at the Ugly Rooster Cafe, both provided great food and service.

Good stay at the Roost

My family of 4 (kids 4 and 2) enjoyed our stay at the Roost. Check-in and check-out was fine. Be aware you will be staying underneath tenants on the top floor. We didn't seem them at all, and they weren't loud, but they were there. The place is cool though and was a great jumping off point for our upstate weekend.

Large and unique

The Roost is a very fun diner themed apartment which is located a convenient distance from Albany and Saratoga. It was clean and spacious. My only complaint was that the one bedroom has a double and twin beds not two double beds. We had plenty of space, but the beds weren’t exactly as described. I would have loved a few notes on local restaurants, grocery stores etc - and some more detailed information about the space- but it didn’t negatively impact our stay in any way- would definitely recommend.
