Charming, renovated historic home in the heart of Sackets Harbor steps away from restaurants, bars, and shopping with water views. Located 30 minutes from Fort Drum, this 2BR/1.5BA home is 1395 sq ft and can sleep up to 6 with all the amenities you need for a relaxing family getaway.

The home is directly across from the Harbor Hotel and caddy corner to Good Fellos Italian Bistro and Wine Bar, which is open year-round. The home has brand new appliances, new floors, furniture, ductless air conditioning downstairs and in the master bedroom, washer and dryer, a gas fire place, off-street parking for one car, and large TVs in the living room and master bedroom.

This is the perfect location to enjoy all Lake Ontario has to offer or visiting family stationed on post.

SEASONAL INFORMATION

Summer
Wonderful time to visit Lake Ontario. Festivals, local beaches, charters with Sail Ontario. There is something to do every weekend with close proximity to Lake and St. Lawrence River. Westcott Beach State Park, Southwick State Park, and Wehle Park are all within a 20 minute drive.

Fall
My favorite season. Visit the Burrville Cider Mill, Appledale Orchards for fresh apple picking, and Old MacDonald's Farm for pumpkin picking and a hayride. Northern New York looks like something out of a Norman Rockwell painting this time of year.

Winter
The harbor freezes early to allow for local ice fishing. Snowshoeing and cross-country skiing opportunities are everywhere. Goodfellos is always delicious and decorated beautifully for the season. The home is equipped with minisplits, radiant water heating and the gas fireplace is remote-controlled. With the push of a button, you'll be cozy and hunkered down while it snows outside.

The house was in a great location to walk to the shops and restaurants. It had a view of the water. The house was clean and had little amenities , like shampoo and conditioner, coffee pods and extra toilet paper and paper towels. I enjoyed the music in the park on Sunday afternoons. I loved sackets harbor and would come back to this house again!

Would recommend!

The home was clean, spacious, and comfortable. AC’s worked great during our summer time stay. Perfect location with easy access to restaurants. Would recommend and would book again in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and very clean home with a view of Lake Ontario. The location was great; right in the heart of the village and easy to walk to local restaurants, coffee shops and to the park at the Battleground State Historic Site. Instructions for parking and access to the home were very clear and easy to follow. The house itself had everything we needed to enjoy the stay. We enjoyed having all of the essentials in the kitchen. The home is a quick drive to Watertown for groceries and more shopping. It is also close by to several state parks with hiking and beautiful views of Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence river. Overall, this was an excellent stay and we hope to return next summer.

The home was beautiful and very cozy. There was a gorgeous view of the lake right off of the porch, perfect for a nice beverage and watching the sunset. The property was stocked full of supplies to make the vacation even easier! It’s also located right next to all the local restaurants and the war of 1812 historical park. This place was awesome and the hosts were extremely helpful throughout our stay. I will definitely be using them again when I travel back to upstate NY!

Great place with view of the harbor

This entire house appeared to be newly remodeled with new furniture. It was immaculate. Master bedroom mattress was great. (we did not use the other room nor sofa bed). There is a view of Sackets Harbor from the windows and covered front porch. It is right in the hub of this quaint historic town. The people in town were super welcoming and friendly. Nice restaurants and lovely places to walk and vistas of the lake.

Exactly as hoped for

The property was very modern, clean and comfortable. It was an easy place to relax and had nice touches such as a modern keurig, and generous staples in case they were needed after a long trip, such as soap and shampoo. (Don't you hate it when you rent a place and find out they don't even have toilet paper supplied? This was a very nice contrast) The porch is a lovely place to have coffee in the morning, and the side yard is a great place to lounge in the late afternoons with the dog and listen to the band in the nearby pub. Its convenient to restaurants and shops. The hosts could not be friendlier, more attentive or easier to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location

My family enjoyed this trip and house so much that I almost dont want to let people know so it will be available for our next trip. Within walking distance to everything and super clean.
