Welcome to Canyon House TX, an immaculate modern vacation rental in Canyon Lake Texas! Hill Country hideaway offers an open floor plan, perfect for a family and friends! The house is located in an excellent location, miles away from the pristine waters of Canyon Lake, Comal and Guadalupe River! Perfectly located for day trips to Schlitterbahn, Whitewater Amphitheater, Jacob's Well, Cyrpess Creek, New Braunfels, Gruene, Wimberly, Dripping Springs, San Antonio and Austin just to name a few!

After spending the day at the lake, floating the river, come back to grill up an amazing lunch on the large 700 sq. ft. patio! Play some corn hole around the firepit in the fully fenced backyard and enjoy the surroundings!

The kitchen comes fully equipped for whipping up some dinner, followed by a smores over the firepit. Grab your favorite drink and lounge out on the patio soaking in the hill country night stars!

Breakfast!? Yes, please! Wow everyone with a waffle breakfast, brew some coffee and enjoy the sunrise from the patio! You may spot some animals; deer, wild hogs, armadillos and the occasional fox is known to roam!

If you're going media-less, PERFECT! We have oversized outdoor games, or take it inside for boards games, card games, family games, or adult games!

we had a great time with family bonding time. the backyard area w firepit was great for marshmallow roasting and cornhole with family. plenty of indoor family games too! overall we were quite pleased with our stay. we were a family of four but thid place can accomadate much larger without it being crowded. would definately recommend.

Hi everyone, this is an immaculate home in the Hill Country. From booking to check out everything was clear and easy to handle. The beds are super comfy, the AC works very well, the appliances are all new and function perfectly. The backyard is a great place to hang out with family to enjoy. Great house in a great location

Nice roomy, clean house for our family to come back to each day after exploring the Texas Hill Country. Great central location. We enjoyed walking the neighborhood each evening and the house was well stocked with just about everything you'd need. Would stay again without a doubt!

Wonderful home away from home

Even before checking on Jamie was wonderful with her communication. Check in was simple and the house was clean upon entry. The only recommendation I have is some curtains especially in the bedrooms but even in the living room as there is no special view so no need to live in a fishbowl. Maybe also some blinds on the doors. Plenty of games to play with the family, I had children ages 5-15 with me and we had a ball. House was fully equipped with cooking and grilling essentials. (Bring ur own seasonings) There were plenty of extra little blankets in the bedrooms if u find the bedsheets to be inadequate. I thought that was a great take because not everyone wants a heavy comforter but some may need some extra insulation. Lol. Great location about 15 minutes from the Guadalupe river for tubing and 25 minutes from schlitterbaun waterpark. I would definitely recommend this place for families and small groups. Overall we had a great stay and I thank Jamie for extending her hospitality ☺️

Pleasant house

In general, we found this house adequate and mostly pleasant for the needs of our three households for a three-night family trip. The layout of the house functioned well (although the listing, by specifying that two of the bedrooms are on the second floor and not specifying the location of the third bedroom, implies that one of the rooms is not on the second floor; the second-floor bedroom was less than ideal for the grandparents-part of the family). Traffic jams did not occur in the kitchen, and space was left open for our food supplies, which is very helpful in a rental home. The lack of 'stuff' cluttering up the house was nice (except for the absence of virtually any table surfaces in the bedrooms), and the consistency of the decor was peaceful. My favorite part was the graveled back yard. It was well shaded and very pleasant to both walk on and sit in. The not insignificant downside of the house is that it is VERY noisy. The whole structure reverberates from movement made anywhere in the house, and this was extremely disruptive (to the point of almost ending the trip). Perhaps, for a single family used to each other's habits and schedules, the sound transmittance wouldn't be a problem, but for three households operating on very different nightly timelines, it was a nightmare. Also, the kitchen was poorly stocked, lacking, among other essentials, even enough dinner plates or forks for the eight people the listing accommodates.
