  • A little slice of Heaven!!

"Such a beautiful, comfortable, amazing experience! The kitchen was incredibly well stocked, bedrooms were comfortable and beautifully decorated, the hot tub was quite large and extremely easy to get in and out of..... The freshly baked goods were a real treat! The owners here thought of everything & made us feel so relaxed, comfortable and "at home". I really can't say enough! We will definitely be back!!"

  • Rustic outside, cozy inside, outside Cedar smelled wonderful, such crisp, clean air.

"Was just what we were looking for in a country setting yet only a few minutes from town. Bed very comfortable! Very quiet! Rustic outside but so cozy inside. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is that the place was not spotless when we arrived ( crumbs in mini fridge and on floor upon arrival)"

  • A jewel of a place for peace and quiet

"We stayed here with our son's family which included two little ones. They had the downstairs. Kids on sofa bed worked fine. They enjoyed the games in the chest very much, and watching DVDs from home. The most wonderful thing here is the gracious, attentive owner who allowed kids to bottle feed some newborn lambs, and feed some beautiful chickens. As an artist, I loved the natural, wide-open setting. Birds were nesting on the porch, and elsewhere. We were here for a nearby wedding, and I wished I had brought my paint supplies. The house is very beautiful, comfortable, and above all, quiet. Our host brought us fresh laid eggs from her hens, and left nice things in the freezer, coffee, and other necessities. We had a perfect get-away. All too short! We hope to return - by ourselves!"

  • Undoubtedly 5 stars.

"I cannot say enough great things about the Villas at Baron's Creek. The accommodation was impeccable, beautifully furnished, clean, private, etc. Prior to booking I did what most do and read reviews. I came across one that stated the guest felt "too secluded" because they didn't see the vineyard staff at all... what!? Listen, If I am taking off with my significant other on a retreat to the hill country, the last thing I want is to be surrounded by the staff. Speaking of the staff... they were extremely accommodating. We stopped by before heading out one morning to check on their tasting. We wanted to end at Barons Creek so we were doing our due diligence and asking when they closed, what they offered, etc. The employee we spoke with assured us that as long as we made it back within a reasonable time around closing we would be waited on. Sure enough, we returned from a full day of vineyard visiting and this employee went out of their way to make sure were able to experience their tasting (which was fantastic, fyi). If you are looking for a romantic getaway and you have the opportunity to book your stay in one of the rooms here, do it. You will not be disappointed."
