  • Very Relaxing and Great for Families!

"We spent 2 nights at 533-1 Lighthouse drive and had an amazing time. The property is located at the end of a cul de sac and right on the water. Our kids loved playing baseball and football in the cul de sac, floating and swimming in the lake, and playing games in the condo at night time. The whole family enjoyed walking and biking to the end of the peninsula to take pictures by the lighthouse. We also enjoyed fishing and just relaxing on the huge deck overlooking Lake LBJ. The condo was clean and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to cook. We had several kids ranging from age 8 to age 16 and they all enjoyed the lake! The owners are very friendly and made sure we had a great time. We highly recommend this condo - it is great for families!"

  • Perfect Family Getaway!!!!

"First off, you will not be disappointed in this property. Molly has made sure that you have every single thing that you need for a wonderful stay, even extra bedding and blankets and pillows, even yard games in the master closet, as well as board games in the living room. And all of the dishes and silverware you'll need--even a spice rack! The condo is immaculate when you walk in, the furnishings beautiful. There are a whole herd of deer right outside the window, and off the patio, that my children stayed enamored with the entire time. And--like all of the other reviewers have said--you have the best patio on the property and you're steps away from a beautiful pool and the Guadalupe River. The condo is located so close to EVERYTHING. My husband went downtown (a 5-minute trip AT MOST) to the many fabulous bakeries and restaurants every morning to procure us German pastries and coffees. One morning he went to 3. And you're close to amazing German places to eat, as well as right across the street from Schlitterbahn. We also visited the Natural Bridge Caverns, which wasn't even a bad drive at all. One of the days we just walked across the street to the park and played in the water and fished. The kids had a ball and that was completely free!!! I really can't say enough about this place. I'm so happy that I found it. This was our first family vacation EVER (other than visiting family), and we plan on being back. Who knew we'd love tubing the Comal so much?! And having a great place to stay makes it even that much better!!! Thank you, Molly, for all that you do to make this place so homey. Book it, people."

  • Wonderful Cottage

"We love the rustic and simple style of the cottage. It was very comfortable and private. The screened-in porch and yard made it that much more inviting. The central location made it the perfect jumping-off point for excursions throughout the Hill Country. We look forward to coming back."
