The hot tub was set at 95, and we had to turn it up and couldn't use it for several hours, it was very clean and stayed warm once it got to temp. Several light bulbs were burnt out. The place was clean, it's a unique older home with lots of quirks. It lists there are two futons, but we did not see any. Also there is no kettle as listed. There was a delay when we asked for a late checkout. Host responded that there would be a "small fee" but when I asked what that would be there was not a response until after we checked out 18 hours later. I did love the location of this place! The landscape could use some attention. My teen kids loved the pool table, but there was only one pool stick that wasn't broken and it too was a little bent. Overall it was a nice place to stay. I'd come back just for the location.

This house is in a great area - close to the mountains as well as nice restaurants and shops. The hot tub and yard are great. We selected this listing because it states that there are 3 beds 2 futons. The futons are actually just the couch sections pushed together. Just a clarifying point for future guests looking for more than 3 beds.The main reason I am giving a lower rating, is host communication. Upon arrival, we reached out to the host requesting additional linens and pillows for the couch/futon. We hadn't heard back after 4 hours so decided to pick up our own, which is fine, however when we returned back to the rental, someone was inside the house, delivering the linens. It was a little unnerving to return to someone inside the house with no heads-up. A few days later, someone was in the yard servicing the hottub, but again no heads-up from the host. Better communication would have been appreciated.

Very nice neighborhood and the house was more than we expected very comfortable lots of room, had all the amenities we needed, great location within walking distance of anything you need, the views didn't hurt either and the fenced in yard was so nice for our dog.

4th of July trip!

We had a great stay! It’s an older house so everything isn’t perfect but we still had a good time! The hosts were responsive when we needed anything! Had a great yard for our pups and a great spot to watch the fireworks without having to leave the house!

Perfect for us

Drove in from Ohio with our two older dogs visiting family. As they have younger children, wanted to give them space and also a place to give us some privacy at the end of the day. The house was perfect for us, plenty of privacy, very clean and well kept, great view of the mountains, quiet and comfortable. As we were only here in the late evenings and over night, the house had more amenities than we had use for. We will def look for availability the next time we’re in town. Thank you for a great place.

Our family had a wonderful week of winter and ski trip. This house was very convenient to access the slopes and the city. It seems better suited for 6 people than for 8. We loved the living room space and the kids liked the downstairs room.

Home not ready, relocated to a different property

We stayed at this VRBO while moving across the country. After a long drive, we arrived at the home that we had rented, and the cleaners were not finished yet. We were informed at the time of check-in and had to wait for 30 minutes until another property across the street was available for us. While the home we stayed in was just as nice and had the same amenities and was just a couple of doors down, the inconvenience and lack of advance notice put a sour taste in our mouths. The home was nice and worked for our stay, and was very walkable to several places, but the experience was tainted by our check-in experience.
