Everything at the house was pretty good but some kitchen items that were not there we did have to go and buy as I did not get a response back. There was no dishrags, t-towels, oven mitts, and drinking glasses (only 2 for the 8 of us). Could use a new cookie sheet. There was plenty of dishes, pots, etc. Lots bath towels etc. Nice quiet neighbourhood.Communication was really good prior to arriving in KC but not so once we arrived. Because of the no communication we did go shopping to get what was needed. Any kind of response would of been great as then would of known that message was received. Overall I would probable rent again if we are back into KC.

The house worked out for us because of the location and the price. Since it was the beginning of the World Cup, hotels had been jacked up to crazy prices. We were in town for a memorial service. So several of us shared the house. I couldn’t give five stars because of the maintenance issues on the outside of the house. First of all, the driveway is quite torn up and looks unwelcoming. Then, the battery needs changing in the Yale lock, and the screen didn’t light up to allow us to put in the code. When we finally got into the house, we read in the guest book that we might need to take out the batteries and put them back in, but how would we know that? When I wrote the host, Boris, he just said “I sent you the directions” and never checked back in to see if we figured it out. We didn’t do on the deck because it looked like it might collapse- it had pulled away from the house and the wood looked rotten. The umbrella was broken and rusty . I also wrote Boris about that but never heard from him. It was clean and we slept in it one night, then left early. It worked for our needs and would have been fine if we had more people.

Perfect for a family get together!

This was out first VRBO experience and we were so pleased with this choice. This house was accurate to pictures and the space was perfect for our family Christmas get together. The spaces allowed for everyone to be together but still have quiet space if needed. The kitchen was well stocked, everything was clean and well cared for. The chess set was a huge hit also. Our family will definitely be staying there for future!

When I first booked the property, communication was prompt but on the days we checked in and out, none of my questions were responded to. The kitchen could use some larger drinking glasses or perhaps some disposable plates and cups. We also would have liked to use the deck but it was covered in leaves and rotten fruit that had fallen from the trees. The property is in a quiet location and the house is spacious which worked perfectly for our group.

Very nice place.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Very nice looking place. It was very clean. One problem was the smoke smell when you walk in. For those of us who don’t smoke that was awful. Also the house could use some coffee cups. We made coffee in the morning and there was nothing to drink it from.

Staycation

The house was very comfortable. No smoke smell as previous reviews had mentioned. Disappointed that the fire place could not be used as it is in the listing pictures. Had to wash some dishes before we could use them. Otherwise the house felt very clean and I used to clean professionally so I can be picky. Would recommend and stay again.
