About The Owner

My wife and I are couple of beach and sun loving people who just like to enjoy the restfulness of hearing the waves wash ashore. I own a small business in Louisiana and my wife is retired. We enjoy the grandkids and like to travel.

The Owner purchased this condo in 2000

Why The Owner chose Perdido Key

This unit is on the top floor and an end unit. The privacy and relaxed atmosphere are both amenities we were looking for when we decided to purchase a condo.

What makes this condo unique

The top floor view is astounding, the beach is so accessible and there is nothing better than a quiet walk along the beach at sundown.

Rest, relaxation & extraordinary views

  • 5 of 5

This condo is exactly like the pictures! It is very CLEAN, easy to get in & out of traffic-wise, and has an amazing 7th floor view of the Gulf. My husband & I had a wonderful weekend of just sitting on the beach, walking, and enjoying the view from the balcony. This building may be older than most on the beach, i.e., not a high-rise. It is very well kept & there was nothing that I would change about it. The bunk beds would be great for kids 10 & under!! We have stayed in OB & GS many, many times & this is by far my favorite!! I will definitely be back!!

Pretty Perdido Keys

  • 5 of 5

This is an awesome place to visit, with much to offer with its surroundings of beauty from the ocean, sand, and sky! Our condo was easy to find, cleanly presented, nicely decorated, with a great balcony view from which we watched the dolphins entertain us most mornings. We were lucky to stay for ten days, and take in some great seafood at the "Shrimp Basket", and venture off to some mini day trips to see a beautiful WW11 battleship to explore, and be exposed to breathtaking cotton fields being grown, and harvested. Mini golf was available, the movies, and last but not least; the phenominal Naval Air Force Museum, filled with airplanes, history, and adventure of its own! Don't forget to visit the towering light house there also. We attended the zoo, and even took in a play at the Cutural Center. There is much to see and do, and we will return again another time to enjoy, because of our exciting, and relaxing first experience here, for sure. Ron and Nancy, the owners, were so very helpful in the planning of our trip, while answering all of our questions or concerns. Their condo makes you feel quite at home, and is even "kid's" accomedating. Thanks for the place and time to "kick-back"! We can't wait to do it all over again!

perfect relaxation

  • 5 of 5

We had never stayed in Perdido Key before, usually we go to Panama City, but my husband and I were looking for a shorter drive, good value, and relaxation for this trip. We absolutely found this here! This complex is a little older than some on the beach, but I have to say we were so impressed with the upkeep of not only the unit, but the entire property. You can tell the owner as well as the management take pride in it. We have stayed in some condo's that were advertised as "luxury", and while they did have all the bells and whistles, they lacked the absolute attention to detail that this one has. The guys that rent the beach chairs were even nice. They raked the beach every morning and were very attentive during the day. The bathrooms by the pool were not all wet and yucky as most are.. I saw a lady cleaning them even the outside of the door. I thought that was great, but then I got on the elevator and she was cleaning in there too!! The inside of this unit was nice also. There were plenty of towels in the bathroom as well as the kitchen. The kitchen was very well stocked and had a blender for frozen drinks. We had brought our own because we didn't know it would be there. I think the floors have recently been re-tiled. The balcony view was to die for. We could see schools of fish from there. Excellent view of the sunrise.

We went to The Crab Trap and were not too impressed with that. It was over priced for the quality of food. We did go to McGuires Irish Pub the next night in Pensacola and it was awesome! All in all, this was just what the doctor ordered for a nice 49th birthday for me. I made the reservations thru the owner Ron, and he was so nice. One of those people you wish was your neighbor. I left with great regret at the very last moment.

Great family vacation at Perdido Key

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay in Perdido Key. The place was a little small for our party of 6 (4 teenagers!) but we managed just fine. The King sized bed in the bedroom was perfect for the parents!!

The beach was very close to the unit and was never very crowded. However, it was very crowded down the beach a bit! We were glad we were at Perdido Key instead of one of the high-rise condos.

Some folks complain about the elevator and it was a bit slow but it was no big deal for us.

We hope to go back soon and we plan to stay in the same unit!

Perfect spot for a young family or a couple

  • 5 of 5

We LOVED our stay at Perdido Skye! This was our first time to stay in Perdido and we absolutely loved it. The Perdido Skye is a smaller facility as compared to the larger tower resorts and we valued that so much. The pool was great, our unit was exceptional, and the beach was perfect as always. We loved our one bedroom condo, which was even roomier than we expected it to be, and our little girls were crazy about the built-in bunk beds in the hallway....perfect for young kids. Cannot recommend it highly enough!
