This place has potential! Sadly, itâs not quite realized. My wife described it bestâŠ.its basic. The furniture is decent, including reasonably comfortable upstairs king-sized beds (which is very important). However, the furnishings in most of the house are low-tier or have slip covers, etc. Everything works fine but itâs just what it isâŠ.basic. Donât expect more. We arrived to find the hot tub had been left open by someone before our arrival. It was full of leaves and too cold to use. We contacted the host and they were quick to respond, even late that night. They had someone out the next day to look at it which was great. We stayed for three nights and it didnât get up above 100F in temperature until the last night we were there. The hot tub works but they donât tell you in the listing that it takes hours to heat a few degrees (that comes in the fine print of the later contract you get after booking). I appreciate that they tried to get this fixed ASAP but we booked this place specifically because it had a hot tub and only got to use it one of the three nights. No offer was made to try to make up for this by the host which is a bummer. I realize that they didnât leave it open but we certainly didnât get what we paid for. The good things: clean, good location, beds upstairs were decent, host very responsive to issues and did make immediate effort to fix thingsThe bad things: hot tub heats SLOW, furnishings basic, hike to the lake is for the adventurous soul only.
