About this property

255 km to the north from Rovaniemi, in the tourist center of Saariselkä in Laanila area.
Wooden hut with a partial glass roof (for watching northern lights), built in 2016. Ideal destination in winter time for observing the northern lights and the night sky from indoor. In summer time, hut is lighted by the summer night sun.
Double bed (width 140 cm) under the glass roof, kitchen, sauna and washroom/WC in the hut. The glass roof is heated, so it stays clear despite of changing weather. There are no curtains and during summer there is daylight through the night.
There is a telescope for observing celestial bodies in the hut.
Warm ski maintenance room, shared between four cabins.
Arctic Hut is a cabin with amenities. It is located near skiing and jogging trails in Laanila. Also lighted ski trail nearby. Ski bus drives via Laanila during the skiing season.
Uppermost cabin in the neighborhood of four cabins. Neighboring cabins nearby. Neighboring cabins 13250, 13448 and 13659.
Barbeque hut in common use with other cottages in the area (6 cottages).
There is a wheelchair ramp to the door of the cabin.

+ Panoramadach ist wirklich schön + W-LAN funktioniert super - Extrem widersprüchliche Kommunikation im Voraus - Schlüsselübergabe musste pro-aktiv von uns organisiert werden. Uns wurde nicht mitgeteilt, welche Hütte für uns bereitsteht und wir mussten lange suchen - Ausrüstung war mangelhaft (Teleskop unbrauchbar,kein Holz für den Kamin,keine Streichhölzer, Auswahl an Kochutensilien ist willkürlich) - Sauberkeit mässig, Überbleibsel der Vormieter in der Unterk. - Generell lieblos bewirtschaftet

Le séjour s'est plutôt bien passé, excepté la remise des clés et l'amabilité de la gérante de la location. Le logement offre une belle vue sur les aurores boréales.

Cet hébergement est juste parfait! Il est situé à proximité de Saariselka (prévoir quand même une voiture pour s'y rendre), il est super équipé et bien situé. Il y a tout dedans: la vue sur le ciel et la forêt à l'arrière avec un système de réchauffement des vitres pour éviter la buée, une lunette astronomique, lave-vaisselle, évier, cuisinière, super salle de bain avec un top sauna facile d'utilisation. Tout est neuf et propre. Nous y avons passé une nuit mais nous serions bien restés la semaine! Au top!
