FSU visit

Stayed for family weekend. Location was 15 minutes from campus. Perfect home and well appointed - even had Keurig cups for morning coffee. Will definitely look to stay there again for a future visit.

Felt like home

We had to evacuate from a hurricane and it was so nice walking in at 2am to a clean, cozy house that felt like a home away from home. Everything was updated and nicely decorated. Close to fsu where our kids go to school. Parking was easy. Our host was very helpful since we didn’t know exactly how long we would be staying. I highly recommend this house!

FSU Football weekend

My family and I stayed here this weekend to attend an FSU football game. It was a great location about 10 minutes from the stadium! It also has so many restaurants, shops, etc. just a short drive away! The property was so cute and very clean! We will definitely be back! :)

Great amenities and just great place to stay

Very comfortable and extremely clean and organized. Nice to have coffee provided, great linens for bath.Good location as well. Can’t go wrong staying here

Great place for a Weekend in Tally!

Comfortable and nice townhome not too far from campus. Perfect spot for the family to stay on a game weekend. Would definitely come back.

Loved it!!

My daughter and I stayed here. We loved it. It was very clean and beautifully decorated. Will definitely stay here again. It was close to everything we wanted to do. I definitely recommend it.

Great stay!

Came to spend the weekend with our nephew who attends FSU. Close to campus and very clean. Lourdes was very responsive when we needed dish detergent and brought some to the house right away. Would definitively recommend.

Palm House is wonderful!

We booked a last minute getaway to visit our FSU student. The house was exactly as advertised. The house was very clean and organized. It had a cute coffee/tea station with a variety of teas, keurig cups, and snacks. The TV remote control had run out of batteries and we couldn’t change channels. I sent Lourdes a message and she immediately responded and had batteries delivered to the door. We really felt at home and would definitely stay again. Thank you!

Great getaway with your doggie

The property felt very homey and had super comfortable beds. They allow pets and my dog and I loved the doggie park and hiking trails nearby (2.2) miles away, at the San Luis Mission Park. Out hostess communicated punctually.

Great townhome

Came up for the Duke game. Our Host went out of their way to make us comfortable. Coffee with creamers, snacks ultra clean linens and rooms tastefully decorated. Great stay. Thank you again for offering your lovely townhome. Will be back in November🙏

Perfect family weekend!

Our family had a great weekend together! The home had everything we needed and then some (even a dog bowl set for our doodle). Also, the owner was more than willing to work with our schedule requests and was beyond communicative. Will definitely be staying again when coming to visit our kids at school. Thanks again for a great Easter weekend all together!

Amazing FSU weekend

My family and I have season tickets to the FSU Seminoles football games! After many years of staying in nearby hotels, we decided to give ourselves some more space by getting this adorable VRBO! We are so glad we did! The unit itself seemed upgraded and recently re-done! Everything is so cute. The host even provided a coffee cart with snacks for the morning! We loved staying here and would definitely book again!

Always A Delight

This was a third year of renting this home for us during this time of year. You can read the reviews that we have already submitted.This year we need to do a very special shout out to our host. We reserved this home so long ago that we thought we knew the dates we reserved. It was the morning of the 27th when we received our check out instructions we realized we made a mistake as thought we were checking out on the 28th. A quick email to Lourdas explaining our situation she move into action. With no questions asked she sent an email back saying she was calling VRBO to see what she could do. In less than 30 minutes we were billed and paid the extra night. The security code stayed the same and now we were checking out on the 28th adding additional time to spend with family. We have stayed in more rentals then we can count over the years we are are not sure this would have happened with any other host. We are forever grateful and thankful.

Second Time Around

We will keep this short and sweet. This is the second year we had the privilege of renting this home for Christmas. Go back to 2022 to see the full review. Once again this home did not disappoint in any way. It was all things as in 2022. As we told Lourdes this will be our home away from in Tallahassee any time we have the privilege to rent again.

80th birthday

We were there for my mother in laws 80th birthday. Since it was an FSU game weekend, we were limited on housing availability. Luckily we found this gem. The neighborhood is deceiving, but the townhome was beautiful, everything was very modern and clean. The only complaint was no TVs in the bedrooms and we could have used 1 more bathroom! But overall it was very nice.

as advertised and better

We really enjoyed our stay at Palm House. We were 3 adults and 2 17 yr olds. Plenty of room for all. Beds were really comfortable. House was very clean and decor was comfortable and inviting. The kitchen had everything you’d need and the coffee bar was a major plus. Close to everything and about a 10 minute drive to FSU campus. San Luis Mission Park is only a few minutes away and has some nice trails through the woods, boardwalk, etc. We will definitely stay again when back in Tallahassee. Communication with Lourdes was great. Thank you Lourdes.

Good home and close to college

Lourdes was great in communicating from the moment we booked. My family and I were in the area attending FSU orientation, and the location was very convenient. Two things I would note that could have been better, and are easy fixes, was that there was only one television in the house (living room) which was a drawback for the younger kids in our group that are used to falling asleep with a tv on. We had also brought our dog and was looking forward to utilizing the back fenced in area which was void of grass and was all dirt/mud, unable to be used. The pics showed a grassy area, but there had been a lot of rain lately which I'm sure contributed to its current state. All in all, we had a good stay. Thank you again!

My new home in Tallahassee

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I arrived. Mainly because this was my first VRBO stay. I have to say, Lourdes was so attentive leading up to our visit. By the time we arrived, it was thinkless because of how helpful he was in the days leading to us arriving. The home is situated so close to everything but still in a semi quiet area. It was so nice and clean and inviting when we walked in. We felt right at home. My little furbaby was right at home as well. The kitchen was the best part for me. It’s such a headache to have to throw money away on eating out for every meal when you can cook a meal at home and save tons of money. The dishes and cookware were very nice. Not some cheap stuff that won’t last. My daughter pointed out that our beds were like the 3 Bears. My bed was the softest. Her bed was medium. And my other daughter’s bed was the hardest. lol It was a great stay. I will return again on my next trip to Tallahassee. Our family enjoyed how comfortable we felt there the moment we pulled in the driveway. It really was our new home in Tallahassee. Thank you. Lourdes. You have a lovely home. PS. The makeup remover clothes in the bathrooms were a really nice touch. It honestly is the little things.

Truly Spotless

Although vrbo.com has pictures of the rentals, they aren’t always completely reliable and sometimes they don’t do a place justice. This rental is one that the pictures don’t do it justice. This rental is in a row of apartments, but it feels like a stand-alone house. It is next to a road that seems busy, but inside you don’t hear the traffic and it gets quiet in the evening. Upon arrival after a long day on the road, we were ready to relax for the remainder of the night. We had one challenge which was adjusting the thermostat because Tallahassee was getting some of the coldest weather in 35 to 40 years. We contacted Lourdes and she responded immediately to help resolve the problem and it warmed up in no time. I titled the rental as spotless because it is really clean, and every detail is attended. For example, the trash can is under the kitchen sink, but the area around it is clean; many places are not like that. The marble floors in the bathrooms sparkle and they are decorated nicely. Downstairs there is a bedroom with a full bath which can be accessed either from the bedroom or the short hallway and two bedrooms with a full bath upstairs as well as a small back yard. In a corner of the living room next to the kitchen is a coffee station which has different flavors of tea bags, a Keurig machine with coffee K cups, hot chocolate, two flavors of creamer, honey, artificial sweetener, sugar, coffee cups, Espresso cups, and various snacks so a person doesn’t have to go to the kitchen first thing in the morning. There is a nice size laundry room, a nice size living room with a flat screen tv that has apps to log-in to Netflix for example and a dining room table that can seat around six to seven people and the kitchen has quality appliances. This is not a party house, it is located in an area of homes and apartments, so if you want to stay in a spotlessly clean rental and a location that is close to most everything, this is the rental for you.
